Your sleek and metallic exterior
is what captured my attention
but as I got to know who you are on the inside
I slowly began to fall in love

Everyone told me
that you were bad news
little did i know
that you would turn my life
into absolute mayhem

i couldn't go a day without you
It was as if you were a drug
that would slowly intoxicate me
and slowly got me addicted

My grades were slipping
my friends were becoming more distant
But all that didn't matter because I had you

Gradually, slowly, and effortlessly
I gave up my soul
to the one thing I had left
my phone

Insecurity is like poison
It engulfs you
Suffocates you until you can't breath
It slowly takes over you
And you gradually lose all hope
Even the will to fight
But you try to find an antidote
You will try to live on
First poem on here, so it might be bad.
