As Kenya lay on the floor at Club Envy with her lungs burning and filling up with blood from being shot by an unknown person she thought her life would never end like this.  Kenya's tears started to flow as she thought of the years she spent slithering with snakes.  Her job at the BNB Bank made it easy to launder money for the Black Crime Syndicate.  It was six years ago in the month of June that her life took a downward spiral.
Upset at the thought of being late for work Kenya floored the gas pedal.  As she passed by the slow moving drivers weaving in and out of traffic Kenya hoped she didn't get a ticket.  I just had to stay up late watching the marathon of FunnyMan.  Now I got to race the clock and pray I don't stopped by the police thought Kenya as she past by the other drivers. As Kenya pulled into the BNB Bank's parking lot she checked the time.
"It's 7:55am.  I made it within five minutes" said Kenya.
Kenya got out of her car and walked through the bank's glass doors.  As time passed the employees of BNB got the bank ready for the public.  One of the three people that arrived at the time of opening was a new face.  Mmmmmm yummy thought Kenya as she walked up to the tall light skinned man.
"Hello sir how may I help you?" asked Kenya as she eyed the man up and down.
"My name is Malik Maxwell.  I would like to open a checking and a savings account" answered the tall light skinned man.
"Mr. Maxwell please follow me to my office" said Kenya.

As Kenya and Malik sat in Kenya's office filling out papers Kenya made it up in her mind that she would get to know Malik on a personal level.
After a day's work Kenya got behind the wheel of her BMW and started her drive home.  On her way home Kenya called her best friend Jewel Stonewall.
"Hello Jewel how are you?" asked Kenya with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand holding her
cellphone.
"I'm doing great Kenya.  What's up?" asked Jewel as she did one of her client's hair at her salon the Golden Scissors.
"Are we still on for Saturday?" asked Kenya.
"Is the day Friday already" said Jewel.
"Yeah girl what day did you think it was?" responded Kenya.
"To tell you the truth Kenya I thought the day was Thursday" said Jewel.
"No Jewel it's Friday.  I'm glad I have a friend who owns a hair salon" said Kenya.
"You better be thankful.  I'll talk with you later Kenya" said Jewel.
"Ok bye Jewel" said Kenya.
Kenya Ayanna Night was a plain looking black woman in her 30's who lived a very plain life.  She always looked forward to Saturday.  A day she would spend at the Golden Scissors getting her hair done and talking with Jewel Stonewall her childhood friend.

Chewing a blade of grass ,
walking the wood fence line
Jumping a bird or two with -
nothing to do
Venus could be my grandmother
Shining her love , vigilantly watching over ,
laying out my trail through fields of clover
Mom is the 'Farmer's Moon' , maybe a dogwood in bloom ,
Spinning threads of love with a golden loom
Searching the young night for angels in -
the sky , whistling a familiar tune with nothing
to do* ...

Autumn Rose
,, She wore black lace
which kissed her pale skin
As blinking stars passed
through the restless night.
Tangled in night roses and
Moonlight when she slept
beneath a blanket of dreams ,,

I will never forget...

Not many tensions,
nor any excitement
Life has ever been
a placidly flowing river!

Single and free!

Over differences,
never been any disputes
never had to consult,
nor seek consent

Single and free!

but doesn’t his house
with its cold, mildewed air
reflect his heart?
A house so full of things:
a hoard of well stacked books,
exquisitely carved Victorian furniture,
antique collection of curios,
ornate drapery

Yet so full of nothing!

The prim order of the house
never disturbed by naughty hands
nor shuffled by dusty feet
dirtying the Persian carpets
 or smudging the glistening floor

The well laid bed covers
never get creased
by the body’s desire
and Love’s tight embrace
and never, they bear
the fragrance of female scent!

Sometimes he would shake
from foot to crown
at a question hurled by
an unknown voice;

“Did you squander away your life?”

Then he recognizes….
he has been a lone traveler
ever walking through
a one way lane
that will wind off
with a few more steps!
If, by chance somewhere
a new track
branches out
he would no more be
a solitary *****!
There would be a companion
to hold hands!

Now it is too late!
This is the story of one of my friends who remain a chronic bachelor. In his young days he was too busy with umpteen activities. But now he regrets his decision as he is growing old and feeling lonely!

River
I guess I just want something deep,
I no longer want some flimsy fantasy
Spending my time dreaming of what could be
I want to take my time to get to know
Every shining quality like the stars of my beau
It would be just the two of us
Wrapped within the warmth of summer's arms
Forever in a cocoon
Feeling safe, and we would even dare to dream
that we would continue on forever unharmed
Protected in the amniotic sac of our love
Simultaneously grounding us
And shooting us up into the stars

Something so deep,
Tethering me to sanity
And ungrounding me to possibility
Weaving within my very veins the certainty of my lover's loyalty
And at the same time reveling within romantic spontaneity
Oh, how sweet and uncalculated this fine and complex dance of living can be
Spinning in rehearsed circles and always coming back to the heart of all the things that could be and ever will be
And yet my life is a mere breeze
On a desert plain
Blowing away the sands of both my happiness and pain
And what else could I say,
Except it's been a beautiful, heart wretching, eye opening, wisdom gaining, heart expanding ride?
And when I find this love of mine,
Our love will defy the very concept of time
We will have love that is so deep
That it will continue on into eternity.

If I was god for a day, Mmm would I cure the ills
of the world, would I bring peace even for a day !!

I'd put a single lightning bolt to the temple,
for what I have created in my
                                                        own image.
Doesn't say much for me then

Greed the **** of Lust stands before her with an outstretched hand and ask

"Where is my currency?"

Lust reached into her pocket and gave Greed the gold bills.

"Greed you act like you don't trust me" said Lust.

"Lust you are my wife and the ***** who I ****.  We are a couple that were wedded in darkness.  Trust you?  I do but not a hundred percent.  I'm all about wealth and power and you're attracted to wealth and power.  You're going to be taking a shower in wealth and power" said Greed.

"I'm going to see to it that you keep your word Greed.  We may have been wedded in darkness but we are still husband and wife.  You're great with currency and I see your willingness to obtain your goals.  You promised to put power in my hands and lay riches at my feet.  Remember that" said Lust.

I dont mean to cause commotion as I am  pouring on you of my waves of emotions flooding your ear's gates like the ocean. Overflowin. But You cast a spell me with your Love potion. You became the only thing running thru my brain in slow motion.
I could see your face, your dimples, your smile, and even the hear tone in your voice with each and every word you had softly spoken.
I was a Good book that you left wide open.
You left me there with my soul exposed and  others to come by and touch my word with their ***** hands as they were groping.
You weren't the person I was hoping.
I was claiming you but you were naming me because I wasn't the one you have chosen. So I sat there in the dark, forced to pick up the shattered pieces of my heart you left broken. And my own self pitty was as a buble bath  in which my crush bones was soaking.
And there I sat with the  bottle from you love potion overdosin.
All it was was an Over do in sin From the beginning, because I knew my love for you was never gonna win. it was  her, her and her, oh yeah all the rest of em.  I guess I wasn't enough for you because  I wasn't one of "Them". So my question is why didnt you just leave me in they zone where I could of just stayed your friend. I thought you were different from the other men. Now I'm sitting here wishing I never would have pressed that little green button on my phone that said, "send". Because you I couldn't  seem to get you of my System, Man I was strugglin. My heart was not  meant to be stressed out like a tree  blowing in the wind.
However you forgot to realize that I am resilient, I don't break, I bend. So I must Say thank for the Inspiration. Cause now instead of running after you it will be my dreams I'll be chasin
