we two are a moon
in our common era

a clan of rainfall

use of water as sacred currency
chanting for a once held belief
fallen through the thread

light years from home
it's a pilgrimage
to hear the brontide

to feel our own unique gravity
guide us ashore

~
Mondays in Van Nuys:
velvet morning, bee stings,
and medicating angels
wrapped in mesh,
at the scene of a fugitive motel,
swimming towards
*** and misery.

Nicotine lizard
fresh from film school,
and his molten young
interceptors
with corduroy legs,
scouting for girls
any way, shape, or form,
pinpointing them
in alphabetical order.

Flashing red light means go:
pretty Eve in the tub,
lit from underneath,
she sun shines,
her back to the prehension
from a survey of hands
and power tools.

No tan lines,
the boundaries of
this celluloid garden
begin at her knees
--a fleshprint,
start the Van de Graaff
and watch as she reels
the far faded whispers
of carnal quicksand.

A smell of peroxide and sweat,
her constant freezing
and thawing
totally crushed out,
the dark don't hide it.

Candy Bar
--it's not her real name,
but she smiles like
she means it,
lying is the most fun a girl
can have without taking
her clothes off.

Once again
the week gets lost in repeat:
a certain smile,
a certain sadness,
look on the bright side,
this isn't happiness.
A daily disturbance
In the cloud cover
Outside bespoken walls
It comes with knives
Walks with noise
To claim its hostage

Listen...
The snow is falling
One syllable at a time
Upon fields of defenseless flowers
The day after it started
No one waved goodbye

The caroling of bells
Is a music we fear
Standing paralyzed
We wait for a sign
In a time of risk

Because soon is slipping away
~
Storms make grey the sea
And erode the surface of the shore

Cold resentful icebergs
Outside my window
A field of sinking liquid caskets
Closing in on me

I hear the sound
Of toy pianos underwater
Remnants of their music keep
Washing up on achromatic beaches

Songs that made love shine
Have fallen into shipwreck
A missing charter's rusted hull
Casts the one color heaven allows

Storms make grey the sea
And erode the stages of the sun

Be tender to your woman
Guide her but do not yank her
Be kind , protect her
do not treat her harshly
Do not groom her into your Kind of her,
know that perfection Is just perception
Perceive her perfectly in all imperfection
Know that she’s not a scared mouse with no voice
She is growing, blossoming, learning , expressing , becoming who she intends to be
Let her be , feminine , fluid, free like the ocean
Be tender with your woman my man
Be her man she will nourish you
She will love you, honor you and give herself to you in complete loyalty, because you have not tried to straighten what was meant to curve,
please let your lady curve , let her curve , let her curve
She’ll appreciate you , she’ll adore you and
She’ll give you a life that a king could only dream of
Be tender with your woman my man ,
be tender be tender my man.

Eloisa
The beauty of her heart speaks.
As she floated freely in the water.
Like lotus, she blooms radiantly in the rain.
Catching life as it flows.
Watching the clouds blown away beyond the sky.
Letting the magic of love do
what it will.

me
want
to
write
in
a
crowd
of
only
one
person.
