Art
your art shook my foundations
disturbed my complacency

now I understand
why you are so needed

plain as you are
your voice came to me

and then I realised
it was I who was speaking
Give me a minute
To read the stars
Lamenting in their stories
Their laboured twinkling far and sparse

Give me this moment
To stumble and swoon
My branches reaching for
The faraway moon

Give me a while
To be one with the universe
Hear the colliding planets
As they spill their mournful verse

Give me some time
To plot my rightful place
Within my uncharted galaxy
And collapsing space...
happiness never stays with me.
it merely touches me, leaves a memory
and then slips away—just like you did.
he tells me he is reaching
his breaking point
(and) he sighs,
(and) he looks away,
(and) i want to reach out to him
to touch his hand, shoulder,
knee

but i am afraid he will
shatter
The disease engulfed her brain
with black ribbons and restraints

She tried to break free
but she was tired of the chains

Her body drained all hope
until she saw a special face

It set her free and she flew away
without leaving a trace
