watch the owls take their
last flight,
say goodbye to the
night time;
morning’s begun.
fog hangs
a little longer on
the window pane,
chicks are chirping with
their hunger pangs;
here comes the sun.

once a rubberband
stretched beyond capacity
now a bungee cord

in the space between
our sound and silence,
there exist two of me
and one of them

here lies a pine tree
grown for years, but times have changed
now i grow redwoods

flood my ports with frames:
network with no spanning tree,
broadcast endlessly.

time takes love and then
becomes a greenhouse gard’ner:
sprouting, blooming life
