OCD
Stop! I could've swore I put that jar on the top shelf, not the second.
Stop! I can't concentrate, that picture is slightly skewed to the left.

My brain's flying at hyper speed back away, trust me you don't wanna ride this one with me.

My mind's a playground for sleep demons and time thieves. An endless land of madness and do as you please.

A never ending time bomb, where a cup left on the counter is deadlier than a gun.

My fountain pen
Has gone dry,
But when I dipped it in ink
For a second try
I couldn't utter
What I needed to
Nor what I wanted to
You beat up yourself
militarizing doubts.
but I can offer you
some good armor.
I give many pieces
but you must equip them.
Please hear and equip
because my heart is breaking for you.
This is written for somebody that matters dearly to me who always thinks they are unworthy. If you enjoyed the poem, leave a comment or share this with someone who would appreciate it!

U + Me

U + Me equals to a mathematical problem
Solve for x but there's no answer at the bottom
Believe me I tried calculating the variables
But no matter what, the answer is still unattainable
Y you ask? Because this equation is unexplainable
-
Remember the X you told me not to worry about
Yeah the one you said left a mark
I know you still see him in the dark
He still is the flame in your life
And I guess that makes me just a spark
-
But I'm not perfect
There was a X I had to subtract
I told you I did just so you don't overreact
But as our arguments multiplies
Our attention to solve this problem divides
I am no mathematician but
The sum just don't add up and after so many tries
Maybe it's about time to say our final goodbyes

Twisted trunk sprouting
A cracked land of poisoned soil
Life peers curiously
Crawling up from a recluse beneath
Life will reclaim

A song rising over a sea
The curses of angry waves
Soothed under a melody
Drawing a heart to the beach

you never asked to read my poetry
maybe that was the sign.
i told you i wrote for fun,
you shrugged and moved on.
red flags went up everywhere, but i didn’t bother looking

It was his sunset-painted heart,
dulcet-washed eyes, and
his contagious laughter that
makes my mornings
and anxiety-filtered moments
spark little fires
deep inside.

Parents are the most peculiar things,
You think you’re really close
Yet really you are so far apart

Happiness and love to see are stark
