Life is in phases
Showing you it's different faces

When you're still at the first phase
It'll show you it's good face
And then you'll think life is a bed of roses
Where you just take poses

At it's second phase
It'll show you a different phase
And then you realize it's not as easy as you think
It's a bit harder than you think

Going to another phase
You'll discover a worse face
The troubles of being a teen
You'll discover how hard it is to get things

Moving to a much worse phase
You'll discover a much worse face
As an adult
You might wish your life come to a halt

And then you move to the last phase
It might show a wrinkled, painful or peaceful face
When you're in your old age
All you'd enjoy is adage

Life is in phases
*Beautiful or ugly, learn to enjoy the faces

This journey called life
Journey to an unknown end
A journey where you don't choose the bus you'll ride
Rather, the bus you ride, chooses you
Enjoying the joy of childhood
Suffering the challenges of adulthood
Enjoying the company of brotherhood
And the fellowship of sisterhood

To some, this journey ain't no fun
They wish they'd soon be gone
But others wish to enjoy this journey forever
To reach their destination never

This journey called life
You never choose your bus stop
Your bus stop chooses you

This life
A sorrow-filled excited journey

If I die now
Will I still be in your heart?
Or will my memories join me to leave this Earth?

If I die now
Will my tales of victory be told?
Or will they end at my casket of gold?

If I die now
Will I hear the word
"I wish she was still in this world!"

If I die now
Will all my positivity
Be covered up by my negativity?

If I die now
I know I'd forever never feel this world's cold
But will I be laid to rest in a casket of gold?

I'm a teen
And not a thing
I'm eighteen
Doesn't mean you should compare me to eight things

I'm not a thing you can easily dispose
Cos your naked secrets, I'll surely expose
Don't look at me like someone who's suffering from boredom
Cos I'll suprise you with my too much wisdom

Never look down on the age
You'll never be able to handle that age's knowledge
Afterall, age is just a number
So, wake up from your slumber

I'm not a toy
Which when bored, it's company you'll enjoy
I'm a precious gold
That can never get old

For the last time
I'm a teen
And not a thing

WHY SMOKE?

Why smoke?
When all it does is make you choke
Wouldn't it be better you drink coke?
Than for you to ever smoke

Why smoke?
Why all it does is make you broke
Broke so that you can't even afford coke
Why then do you still smoke?

Why smoke?
Even when the society says it's bad
And sometimes it makes you mad
And then you won't recognize who's your dad

Why smoke?
When it makes you ill
Ill and bring lots of bills
Without you even smoking to your fill

Why smoke?
Wouldn't it be better you buy meat pie
Or eat fish pie?
But instead, you chose to die
