Self healing isn’t about getting placing blame on others
It is about not placing the blame on yourself.

This is the man I want to be.
A man who walks through the storm, with his head held high, his shoulders back and his chest out.
He is strong, courageous, full of fight and purpose, so certain is he of reaching the distant sunlight  he sees breaking through the violent dark clouds.
He feels the kinetic force of the wild wind, the icy chill of the bullet rain slashing his skin and their weight push him back.
It is a blow that would **** the life from many mens heart but It does not break his will, he finds a meaning in the struggle that emboldens it.
He keeps his back straight, his pace steady and puts one foot in front of the other because he knows that each step takes him closer to the warmth of a brighter day.
This is the man I want to be.

I am a writer who does not write
I am a poet who does not rhyme
I am a painter who does not paint
I am an illusion in a moment of time

I am a counsellor but I am unwell
I am love but I am alone
I am a dreamer who does not dream
I am me but I don’t know myself

I am a philosopher who does not think
I am a politician who does not speak
I am kind but I forget to be nice
I am a pen without any ink.

The skies are full of woe
I see thunder down that road

And from that moment on

She walked through the sliding doors
I went back to my paper
And read about the news.

A see through girl looked up at the stars
Lost for a second and the sound of the cars
Faded from her mind like the boy who didn't call
For just one second the city felt small

She thought of the love that came from the dust
That fell from the sky and the clouds up above
She thought of this rock that we have to call home
That spins in the black as we all die alone

She  thought of chances lost when love had broke her heart
Of the rivers running dry and the ones that never start
She thought of the wind blowing through her air
Of the pink lights in the clouds that shine when she's not there

And her dreams of love
They were dreams and they were nothing more
Those sad dreams of love
They were never worth crying for.
