we are
living
breathing
poetry
in
motion

We are the muses that haunt others
Late in their silent nights
That are comprised of a
Pencil or pen
Paper
And lingering mind

We are the strangers
That elicited a thought within another
That manifested into a poem

We are the vessels
Of poems written
And poems to come

we are
living
breathing
poetry
in
motion

This is
and
that
can be

is it
truth
or
reality

walking in
your
darkness
with no
real
clarity

and lies
become
your charity

yet
to
others,
with
blind
vision

you still
see
Some people are so confused in life. You and others may try to help them, but they ignore you as they keep digging a hole for themselves. To others, they look completely fine, yet where no one can see, they are actually falling apart. Yet you know that they are crumbling because of the values they set for themselves, or maybe no values at all-and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it, because they won't listen.

Spring day
new start
fresh feeling
in my heart

Hope for today
only one smile away
but I know
somewhere
in the world
someone's
hurting
today

So I take a moment to pray
and throughout my way
I'll think of them
and hope that life get better
someday
no
today
because I know that feeling
being boxed in
by
everything

I'd like to think
that I'm brave
that I'm not afraid
that I'm not everyone's maid
cleaning up their dismay

I'd like to think
that I'm free
from misery
and that darkness that always returns
to me and only me

I'd like to think
that I love
and live a life of a dove
with hope
that could only be found
from above

I'd like to believe that I'm me
but that's hard to do
when what you can't live
what you believe

test me
my waters have remained constant
rippling, reaching
as far as the eye can see
into the horizon; the water surrounds me
my knowledge is useless
when drowning in these waters;
i can only flail desperately
as my movements create ripples
out into the open sea
all these efforts
all in vain
all in my vein
blood rushing out
like the sea, light then heavy
then strong
like the sea, with a strong smell of salt
this time, the waters are red
and they reek of iron

test my waters
they’ve been stained crimson
with my lifeline
exam week got me in a bad light

When everything goes
wrong
you begin to
see
who
you
are
---
The darkness
reveals the
light
---
Sometimes the
light
is just a
grey
area
that
can
become
brighter
