Silencing herself.
Yusof Asnan Aug 2018
Her eyes speak of
sorrow which no
words could
describe,
Her lips pursed
trying to keep
her mind from
speaking.
Constantly
thinking just
when she should
say enough.
But she kept
holding on,
Surviving another
moment.

Exudes.
Yusof Asnan Aug 2018
The flower in the
wasteland exudes
life itself:
The physical
entity of
determination and
will to live.
Yes she may be
damaged from all
the toxic
surroundings.
And yes there
were times she
accepted her
weakness.
But she still
prevails.
Sprouting joy
despite all that.
She's special.
She's the flower
that survived.

If beauty were to

It's not just the

It's how she gets
comfy before she

How she smiles to

How her eyes

It was always

Physical space.
Yusof Asnan May 2018
So many worlds.
So many lives to
exist in.
Yet in a mere
coincidence;
Of time and
space.
We exist in each
other's.
But as the worlds
orbit around
life,
You can't deny
the space.
At first from
within,
A void in your
heart.
To a physical
space dividing
us.
And we got on our
own way.
Like nothing ever
happened.

Falling.
Yusof Asnan May 2018
Her pillows damp
with her tears.
For what she felt
was the worst.
Broken to pieces
and left
unchecked.
She will never
love again she
said.

Then he came and
changed the
pillows.
Wiped her of
those tears,
And calmed her
down.
Stayed there till
she stood on her
own.

Along time then
she smiles.
Ridden of her
sorrows and pain.
He stayed with
her till then,
She didn't
realize she was
falling again.

Mind.
Yusof Asnan Mar 2018
No, my mind is like a house.
Not just walls surrounding me,
But with roof and basement.
I kept throwing words into the basement.
Sorrows packed along with anger.
All down there.

The more i kept locked,
The less i worry and lived on.
Slowly the words crept through the floors.
But i didn't get rid of it,
Just moved myself to upstairs.

Those words formed itself.
Some being with all I'm scared of.
I locked myself in a room and try to be safe.
I got to admit, I'm just emotionally scared.
It kept knocking, banging on the doors ;
The walls and the floors.

It knows no stop nor do I know its weakness.
As I've never faced it before,
Never tried to learn about it.
And now it's claiming its territory.

The door slowly cracks,
Bit by bit I'm shaterred from within.
All i can hear is its voice.
Wanting to get out,
Wanting to be in control.
Until it got in.

Yusof Asnan Mar 2018
This world doesn't need bigger guns.
Worry less of the enemies in front,
