It is easy to love a poet
Give her that smile that she'll never forget
Just send her  a word or a line
And everyday will be just so fine

Show her your photo, good or not
Anyway she loves you a lot
Everything from you is for keeps
Like sweetness of your kiss on her tender lips

Touch her softly, that she never expects
Kiss her forehead as sign of respect
She feels wonderful when you are around
A simple hello is a lovely sound

Give her a time to tell her stories
Make her feel that she's really missed
She just deserves a hug and a smile
After being away for a while

Let her lean on your chest and shoulders
Let her feel that you are all hers
When she waits for a shooting star to fall
You know what's her wish afterall

She always sits on your lap,  doesn't she?
Like a baby girl she ought to be
When she press your nose, fell proud
She only wants you to laugh so loud

Hold her waist and carry her
Swing your bodies into the air
When she tickles and teases you endlessly
She do it with love for your eyes to see

Oh,  it is easy to love a poet
A kind of love you will never forget
Her heart is pure,  tender and mild
Yet she loves so much, carefree and wild...

It is easy to love when you are ready to love.

Women of a certain age
not so young and not so aged
have witnessed the passing of love's parade
They dance at night alone
to fight the diminishing
returns of youth's flight.

They have found peace and
quietude in wisdom
about life's truth.

No knight comes.
No child answers
"come home's" call.
No money opens
heartfelt doors.
No strife is beyond
their solving might.

They have given it all
in healing other's
wounded night.

They take it back
inside to find
in their eyes
a moment of serenity
wise and laughter in
those eyes,
where candles light
their longing night...
He sits on the bench
Cheering his team on
All the time wondering
When will the coach put him in?

His mom and dad look on smiling at him
He knows they will ask why he didn’t play more?
He doesn’t know himself
He will hear the, “you need to work harder” speech

There is a small chance he will do something great
But not really
He only gets to play
When the team has a comfortable lead
Or a starter needs a rest

Sometimes he gets lucky
A starter will upset the coach
And the coach will punish the starter
By letting him, a sub, play longer than normal

Thoughts confront him
What’s worst?
Not playing?
Fine with not playing?
Not fine with not playing?
Playing a little but playing well?
Playing more but playing bad?

He must break free
He must not let the coach, the team, the parents define him
He can’t be pushed aside
He has to be a fighter

The coach is not his friend
He is the enemy
He must convince himself of this
The coach stands in his way
He must stand out and play the game his way
Not the coach’s way
Or else he will be a sub the rest of his life
And all he will have to show for it
Is a pat on the back and job well done comment
And memories of others getting basking in their own glory
While he sits on the bench
tonight the shadows ate the moon
i sat there in awe as it was slowly consumed
little by little the brightness was devoured
and behind the shadows, the moon never cowered
the blood moon shined
as the sun and moon aligned
and the moonlight becomes you
you too are consumed
eyes bright and full of wonder
the cold wind makes you shudder
make a wish as the last sliver disappears .
let the music of the night fill your ears

Presence
And if you're ever
       feeling lonely
      Just look at the
             moon
          someone,
         somewhere
is looking right at it too
the moon is
so beautiful with
its glorious imperfections
its loneliness

i am jealous
of this moon
of its knowledge
of its iridescent glow
of its independence

because in reality
who
is
more
beautiful
than
the
moon
?

Have you seen the moon
I wish you can see it too
Probably look at it the same time
As I do
Then somehow
We could be together
Even we're miles away
My dear moon,
My old friend,
Who listens to my thoughts
All night,
Who knows my darkest secrets
And my deepest desires.
Step sister of the Sun,
You give me light when
I need it the most.
One day,
I will join you.
