They said just one, and you'll fly,
Free forever, never to die,
A little dust, and into the sky,
Second to the right, straight on all night.
There you'll find freedom, there you'll find life,
Never to age, never to cry.

But all my happy thoughts flew away.
Now I'm just lost,
Still acting like a little boy, still running from pirates.

Know why they call it Neverland?
Because it's never coming back.
It was never there at all,
And it never will be.

Wendy started nursing school,
The Captain died from cancer,
The Boys left town, the pirates retired,
The fun is over, the thrill is gone.
John's a lawyer, Michael's a drunk,
Tinker bell's taking selfies from her new Mercedes,
The crocodile's chewing the fat off tourists in his nature preserve.

You know why they call it Neverland?
Because you never should have left.
Now we're all just shadows.
We grew up, when we swore we'd rather die.
They caught me, now I'm just a shadow.
They made me a man.

I left a trail
Of seeds behind
Hoping that
You'd follow them

Left untouched
They bloomed
In your absence

Looking back
Is a reminder
That I've grown
That it's best
Not to root oneself
Where the soil
Is dry.

confined
confined in my mind
confined in this 4 squared wall of mine
confined with chains
confined with no way to escape
confined till i take my last breath
till i meet my death
theres no way to really explain this

there are two types of sadness

there’s the kind of sadness
we ignore and
try to get rid of it
by finding new things to do
or we find someone to talk to
by blatantly avoiding any type of conversation
about feeling sad
about having any feelings at all
and then there’s that kind of sadness
that takes over
and it consumes any activity we do
we know it’s there
and there’s no possible way to avoid it
so we feed it exactly what it wants
it craves the sad music
it craves the isolation
it craves the anxiousness
and the sadness comes storming in
it has no manners
here we are calling sadness, an “it”
when all it is
is a feeling
that most people
call home

The Moon

The moon glistens and listens

while I release waves of emotions.

Emotions nameless—

But experienced throughout the day

and escape at nighttime.

Consuming cries and restless.

The moon glistens and listens

while memories replay in my mind.

Emotions hopeless—

Surfacing from my heart

and through my soul.

Shutting eyes and breathless.

The moon glistens and listens,

while I gather myself to sleep.

One star from the innumerable has fallen
But I will not let it die
The beauty and the memory shall not depart
In mine heart will it dine
The seed has fallen from the sky
And my tears have watered the ground in which it will root
The soil is fertile now
And everything you have planted in me will surely grow
To the fallen, it will be fruitful for the sky is always blue
