Relaxing rain sounds
clear weeping eyes silently
in meditation

~~~Jawahar Gupta~~~
Too
She said ‘I love you’ into the phone.
But it wasn’t the perfunctory close to a call
Or to illicit an echoed response
I love you;
She emphasized the love and instead of allowing the you to trail off indiscriminately,
she held it up as if to say, it’s you that I love, and no other.
I love you;
Though she didn’t emphasize the I, she didn’t need to, would never have to
so long as the love was so authentic.  So much so that  she even surprised herself
owing more to a tidal wave than a creeping up on
I love you
nearly swept her away as she was walking up the stairs from the cafe
back into the quad, sun shinning, and breeze gentle
I love you wasn’t the end of the call, it was but the beginning
She's my best friend
My worst enemy too
To my mind she does tend
Teaching me every day, things anew
She feeds my mind
with thoughts that shock, but also uplift
A better wingman, I cannot find
To me, she's such a gift
She is the one who shows me love
And joy in the littlest of things
The reason my heart pursues the purity of a dove
Led by her, my soul sings
I could not live without her
She'd cease to exist, without me
The girl in the mirror
She is me, I am she
The inspiration without is only a reflection of a never-ending fountain of inspiration within.
Half way down the road..
wandering all by my own
a certain hour of excitement
reaching to my lips
caressing me beneath my chin
& as I close my eyes
I feel the breezy wind romancing
with me to its rim!
Fantasy of my breezy romance.
