War
Antagonism
burgeons back bad blood.
Compatriots, courtesy can cool contentions:
doubly, disrespect demands decisive
execution. Early efforts evolved
fatuously, force facilitated farcical fighting.
Gambling gents gleefully gored
hedonistic harlots. Harassing
ignorantly, igniting
jealously,
killings
listlessly- liars lament
momentarily. Meanwhile, monetary
nuances
of opulence obscure
prime problems.
Quarries quake
running red. Remembering
solitarily- stoic steeds stand silent, sending
thoughts,
unbidden, unbeknownst.
Violence:
we were
xanthic,
yellow years yaw…
Zymotic.
An alliteration of a the reasons for a battle, and the results of said battle.

STOP IT NOW

you're not
a
word

a word
does not
define

look in the mirror
right now.

this is not you.

close your
eyes
and
see
your soul.

"Hello,
oh wow,
you're gorgeous."

As we all wake up
But we aren't the same
Continuously living the same as we did yesterday
Dying inside cause we feel we have nobody
Everyone not caring what they say
For some people, fight to save their life
Giving her life
Her life is now actually being noticed
Inside her, a fire raged
Joyfully she would lay it all down
Killing her soul softly
Love didn't win
Mending broken hearts
Never thinking of herself
Out of the ashes
Placed others needs before her own
Quitting the pain
Ripping through a past of scars
Shutting out others thoughts
Unlike all the others
Violence would cease
Was it all in vain
Xyst: something she has always wanted to see, now she can
Yellow, blue flowers and many more flowers to see
Zymotic is something she felt
Xyst: a garden walk planted with trees
zymotic: relating to or being an infectious or contagious disease.

This is my first alphabet poem from a couple years ago, it took forever!
Batchelor Apr 2020
A different motif
Belying the similar nuances
Catheterization with anguished looks

Delving searching for reprieve
Eversong and evertone
Finding the beat that doesn't exist

Going, going gone
Help me understand what you left me
Internally bleeding your words kept me

Just what did you mean
Kind of you to keep yourself chained up
Lose or win we'll pass out

Maybe you'll break out
No more chrysalis
Omnidirectional truth

Please rise up with the other foot
Quietly without nailing it too
Rest later, figure what and who you are

So again like the year ago
Time has been kind to you
Unclear your intent was

Vouching for perhaps a perfect moment
Waiting for the definition of insanity
Xanthic your bones become

You are so much more than this.
Zymotic you cannot continue to be.
Now you know your alphabets.
