I saw the morning dew betwixt thine thighs as I removed my source of Grecian power, as if King Midas dared to touch the skies, upon thy body fell a golden shower. Thy body's temples, two church bells had rung upon thy chest, a row of pearls bestowed. The sun had set, thy set with wary hung I thought, "How black a night, and blue a lode!" I said, "What light through yonder ****** breaks? It is the yeast!" And now my belly's yellow. My pole gives cause to storms and earthy quakes, but 'tis not massive, I am no Othello. And when that final moment came to pass, like Christ I came a-riding on an ***

Sonnet 155, Or If Shakespeare Had Written A ****
‘To bed! To bed!’ Said Sleepy-head; ‘Tarry awhile,’ said Slow; ‘Put on the pan,’ Said Greedy Nan; ‘We'll sup before we go.’ (from Mother Goose) They sat at the kitchen table as The candle flickered low, And Greedy Nan put on the pan To indulge her sister, Slow, While Sleepy Weepy Annabelle Blotted her book with tears, And thought of her Beau from long ago Who she hadn’t seen for years. ‘Why doesn’t Roger notice me, Why doesn’t Alan Dell? I’m wearing the dress cut low for me And I’ve hitched my skirt as well. I’ve a pretty turn to my ankle, so You’d think it would drive them wild.’ ‘But men are a mystery,’ said Slow, ‘And Alan Dell’s a child.’ While over the pan stood Greedy Nan, Was cracking a turkey’s egg, A lump of yeast and a slice of beast And a single spider’s leg. With a wing of bat and an ounce of fat And a toe of frog for the spell, She needed to turn her sister off From her crush on Alan Dell. For Greedy Nan was the eldest girl And would have to marry first, The other two would wait in the queue Or their fortunes be reversed, The omelette sizzled, and in the pan She added before they saw, A piece of some Devil’s Trumpet plant For the mating game meant war. She sliced the omelette into half And she served them up a piece, ‘Didn’t you want?’ said Annabelle But Slow enjoyed the feast. ‘I’m not that terribly hungry now I’ve cooked it up in the pan, I think I’ll just have a slice of bread,’ Said the scheming Greedy Nan. They finished up and they sat awhile, And they mused about their fate, ‘If Greedy Nan isn’t married soon, For us it will be too late.’ ‘I’ve set my sights on a country squire,’ Said Nan, without a blink, Lured them away from her secret fire To confuse what they might think. ‘The room is woozy, spinning around, I’d better get me to bed,’ Said Annabelle, while Slow with a frown Saw Dwarves dancing in her head. But Greedy Nan was cleaning the pan To clear all signs of the spell, Her back was turned to her sisters, spurned For the sake of Alan Dell. And when he came in the morning Greedy Nan was sat by the door, While Annabelle and her sister Slow Were lying dead on the floor, ‘I didn’t mean it to **** them, Al, It was only a simple spell,’ But as he cuffed and led her away He frowned, did Alan Dell. Sonnet 155 (Bo Burnham)
Preventing contamination, A constant challenge in cell culture. Contamination not only affects, The culture in question and, Costs time and money, But also endangers the reproducibility of results. No cell culture problem, Is as universal as that of culture loss Due to contamination. Generally, contamination may be separated, Into categories of microbial, And eukaryotic contamination. Examples of microbial contamination include: Bacteria (including Mycoplasma), Fungi and yeast; Eukaryotic contamination includes: Cross-contamination with other cell lines. Bacteria, yeast and fungi, The three more common types of contamination, But luckily these forms are often detectable, Under the microscope and, By visual cues, Like colour or turbidity changes in the medium. Mycoplasma is a small genus of bacteria, That lack a cell wall and for this reason, They remain unaffected by common antibiotics. They are also difficult to detect, With standard microscopes, Due to their size, about 0.1 μm in diameter, And the fact that they often attach to host cells. To prevent contamination, Use 70% ethanol for disinfecting, Equipment & surfaces, Related to cell culture. Sterile filter the media first, Before bringing to the lab. Fetal Bovine Serum, A potential source of contamination, Contains mycoplasma. Filter it at 0.1 μm, or, Gamma irradiate it. Aseptic technique, Necessary. The laboratory workers be the last, But not the least source of contamination. Teach them the ideal laboratory practices, To ensure asepticity in a laboratory.

'Gingerbread, Go to the head. Your task is done; A soul is won. Take it and go Where muffins grow, Where sweet loaves rise To the very skies, And biscuits fair Perfume the air. Away, away! Make no delay; In the sea of flour Plunge this hour. Safe in your breast Let the yeast-cake rest, Till you rise in joy, A white bread boy!'

the tale of the witch doctor
A breadcrumb I am - the morsel of my old dough,      a piece of chewed bread rotten, missed near a toe, shredded by the sons of righteousness and “normality”,      entombed I am under the carpet to fulfil “morality”. Mum added the yeast for me to grow, as well as flour,      Hoping my crust would golden as a vivid live flower, She sprinkled little salt into me, to know the grimes,      Sugar too, for life brings out the salt to eyes, at times. Dad poured the water, to soften toughness uncalled,      For man is kind too, not merely clay masked, walled - And above all, they added affection and compassion,      They wanted me to satisfy mineself, not one’s ration. Into the oven, 9 minutes, under fire: I show colors,      The warmth turned the heart warm for all others; I am left to rest, to harden the shell and eternal body,      To be perfect as ma and pa wish: not adverse, shoddy. But the stale, unpuffed, unfresh bread of this world,      covets but loathes what is good and not yet twirled, It wishes for me to inhibit mold and evict dignity,     Mais allez, étrange moi, expose me not to malignity. The least of their gurgling sounds puncture heads,      And the weakest of their advice the spirit dreads; The making of me is the capacity of mine flexes,      Your ingredients suit not me, mortals and sexes. Days yearn for you, not this battle of complexes:      You, mine old dough who suddenly “complex” is, My parents baked me on low heat nice and gentle,      And they sear me with words not for me, mental! Know you: Pita, Kmajj, Brioche, Shrak, or Baguette,      Bread is bread, could be different, but it is no threat.

In a world where salvation and restoration swaps my darkness to light, there the grace to glory in praise and grace l will embrace. In a time where invitation and visitation from above sweeps my groan(bondage) to grace to glory(freedom), there the grace to glory in salvation and restoration from sin l will embrace. In a season where manifestation and expectation becomes my hunger and thirst, there the grace to glory in meditation and supplication l will embrace. In a period where the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit becomes my meal and meat, there the grace to glory in repentance and independence from sin l will embrace. In a moment where revelation becomes my feast and vision of heaven my yeast, there the grace to glory in salvation and ressurection from death l will embrace. At the throne of grace, there the grace to glory in my salvation and restoration from ******* l will embrace. At the shone of salvation, there the grace to glory in my happiness and forgiveness from sin l will embrace. At the stem of restoration, there the grace to glory in my freedom and depletion from sorrow l will embrace. At the realm of freedom, there the grace to glory in my redemption and petition from shame l will embrace. In the day when my feet is lifted up above the sky and my eyes groomed in white robes, there the grace to glory in salvation and restoration l will embrace. Twitter: @ValentineMbagu

The air is thick with water beads. ***** little water beads that fill my lungs making it hard to breathe. Hot Air
Hanging on the wall, next to my bed post, A friend of the forest looks surprised, most. Oh dear, she did not hear the gunshot near, Nor tree nor hill nor her fawn shed a tear. Over there, the finest hair of the hare, Cute and fluffy hopping into my stew. It's seat is sweet and hard to beat I swear, Though his hide is gamey and tough to chew. A sow, a cow is how I eat for now, I feast on the beasts with the finest meats. Fresh flesh on my breath, fresh blood on my brow, Slaughtered, like their daughters; fair market treats. I feel nothing for these creatures I hunt. Would you rather feast on the yeast they shunt?

Ode to sincerity Unlike a candles flame Wrath contained, Dissipates not                     but         grows and gains Wrath contained A brick in a washing machine A moth in a closet Wrath contained, A plant growing As Providence's Gardener is perpetually hoeing With a deft hand doubt's seed Wrath is sowing Wrath contained, Is Suffering's Yeast, To its expansion there's no end The closed mouth is an open space for Wrath to bend Sprouts of hope Wrath's malice fends                Away and blights With its bligthening might Grinds light to dust Creeps under the plant *** it must Break in the foundation it may Once cheery now morose Day-by-day Wrath dissembled its host

Par-annoyer
May the devils have their due, and the angels get their share. Long live the home brewer of meads and brews and other godly delights that came from the yeast. Here, here, to the dreamers that made the flavors of barley, hops, and malts. Here, here, to the honey the fruits and maples that make the mead so sweet. So raise your glass and tip your steines to the brewers that made life a lot more easier to shine. Ziggy, zoggy, ziggy, zoggy, oy, oy, oy.

Drunkard's life for me
Lithium, light they write, Like it’s right, white delight Striking bright, better tight: Fine and dandy. Glamourised in our eyes The surprise as you rise ****** heroised, Bitter candy. Pump the *** dump the dot ******* it hot, spatter spot Sing a lot, dream but not Craving luncheon. Skagging sweet sweaty meat Blisters well under heat Take a seat, come compete, Beating truncheon. Vie d’artiste, or at least Rising yeast, bubbling beast Trickling triste down your cheeks, Ever daring. Rising up, sup the cup, Acid drop, fizzle pop, Shoobie-doo-doobie-wop, Death to caring.

A toast! A toast!
Oatcakes make great bikinis they're all the rage back home. You can rap up your eggs and bacon; fill them with sausage and beans. They're baked on a griddle or backstone; made from oats, flour and yeast. You can wear them like potters bikinis or munch on a toasty cheese feast! •

Oatcakes
Expectations of gender stereotypes invoke the psychopath that lurks in the deepest recesses of my soul. Maternal and paternal influences reek of disconnected ambivalence. When I think of knowledge, I am reminded of apple pie. I may not be able to undertake mechanical and electrical tasks, but I can truly profile. Although our instincts may be somewhat dangerous, I am compelled to make those savoury simplicities that are characterised by yeast, cheese and the pride of a mother. Have you ever been to Balmore?

The Attachment of Bread
give us this day our daily emotional breakdown and forgive us our blackout binges as we forgive those who starve themselves for perfection and lead us not into inherited obesity deliver us from the mental ward **FOR THERE IS SO MUCH ****** BREAD IN THIS HOUSE I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE** on mlk day i shut my eyes and see scenes of squishy white rolls and pats of margarine bread leaden deadened feeling in my stomach *i can't eat any more bread* but here it is in baskets and coolers in toasters and cupboards my daily bread made to sustain me but turned into the enemy deliver me from risen yeast in third degrees a flour coated tyranny mind control through sesame *swallowing emotions down down down* quietly settles until spring somewhere between my hope and skin you can see me smile and stand straight and tall but what you can't see is this shouldn't be my body at all *give us this day our daily bread and give us the strength to chew meat instead*
