"worldstar" poems
VIOLENCE, Nothing is as beautiful and as disgusting To see MEN and WOMEN strike and grapple on UFC is wonderful leaving everything they have out there with respect only their technique and skill to speak for them in the name of martial arts To see "men" and "women" scrap and stomp on worldstar is sickening leaving no downed alone,no honor nor respect only their cowardice and anger speak for them in the name of Violence.

Violence
1. being mean to people that hurt you won't make you feel any better. 2. whatever it is, you've got to get over it. it made you sad then, there's no reason it should make you sad now. live, learn, and move on with love. 3. there's nothing wrong with using social media. use it to educate yourself. follow national geographic, the new york times, politicians, zoos, museums. the world is at your fingertips. or use it to watch worldstar videos, i don't care. whatever makes you happy. 4. don't apologize for who you are. maybe you're sassy, introverted, independent, cheesy, maybe you love 70's rock, maybe you love starbucks, maybe you love justin bieber. it's all perfectly fine. never let anyone make you feel sorry for who you are. 5. if someone acts like they don't care about you, it's because they don't. 6. you might never understand all that your mom has done for you. be nice to her. 7. you need to be nice yourself, too. treat yourself to sunrises, puppies, sleeping in, and morning runs followed by donuts. you deserve it. 8. what's meant to be will be. in the meantime, respect yourself enough to  walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy. the best days of your life are ahead of you. -e.d.

8 things i wish i'd learned before 18
Here I go again To make you feel uncomfortable With my onslaught Of introspective thinking Maybe you should run and hide Before it has the chance to sink in Just a little query for those of you Who think prejudice Is no longer existing If it's not racist why am I offended? Is it because I like to ruin your fun? See you transition from white to red As I shed light on the words you've said? To you I guess I'm the angry black girl Looking for something to moan about I just want to play the victim Another excuse to scream and shout So is it me that's magnifying 'us and them' By 'choosing' to take offence? Or is it you that's trying to sweep me Under the rug again? But hey it's just a joke, it's just a crack And it's time I learnt to be okay with that You say this is hypocrisy You turn the tables onto me Do I make jokes about my folks? I do, but I'm a little more qualified than you 'It's not fair,' you say 'How come you can jest About white privilege, now and again But we can't do the same About an ethnic group from a history of suffering and shame?' Well look, I'll be the first to say That to discriminate is never okay But you know full well from where you're sat Your words carry much more weight It's really quite simple, you do the math I don't even know where to begin with that You can blame rap, blame 'worldstar' As if that makes it okay But they're not responsible, you are For the words that you choose to say So before you try to fight for the right To call me your ****** 'Cos your best friends uncle's dad is black Let me just stop you in your tracks To ask you why it's something You are clinging to so tight? Maybe stop and ask yourself What gives me the right?

By Arcassin Burnham I hope the men don't run off and try to see the fear in others, Hope the women don't gossip like they don't have a care for others, I hope the kids in school don't have agendas just to pick on others, This world literally crazy, protect your sisters and brothers, Putting your **** videos on Worldstar just to see someone bloodier, Do we really wanna be seen in the history books as histories most violent Country? Now come on guys everybody and their mama knows that this country is Built off money, a socially awkward economy, that tells you to obey their policies, the justice system , are you blind to see, they **** for no reason , we run out of peace, as a black man you can't on your two feet, without getting cascaded with bullets, whatever hope we get or had in the past just know they're the ones that took it.
