"willingness" poems
Could it be that I substitute lustful infatuation for love? or mistake an act of kindness for trust? Using his words to define me, i mean refine me, leaving the real me in the dust Can you really blame me for being attracted to someone who shows interest in my existence Someone who is persistent, consistent and whose smile breaks my resistance It's a real feeling I get of satisfaction through common conversation of nothingness The willingness to waste time with me means something to me if not everything for me because time can not be given back Sorry your interest in my existence was nonexistent, guess in the 90's being a father was wack. Respect from hoes was worth more than respect from your daughter If it was up to you, if you were her, you would have probably said "abort her" You knew I was a girl and that I'd be your first daughter but that wasn't enough for you You had 9 months which turned into 1 plus twenty now you're begging for my heart to attend to it's broken it needs amends too, a man too? So I'm looking at guy after guy to cut into some deep hurting pain from my past Not realizing that they can't give me what I'm missing cause I can't miss what I never had I asked God for a brother but I never got em When I was 8 I wanted to meet my Father but I never saw em After that, just like everything you cant change in life, you learn to accept Accept and move on not accept and dwell in it Yet I found myself looking for what I lacked in a male figure in a young boy I didn't know it yet but my innocence he would destroy How can you be sure about love and if you're in it, if there is no demonstration clearly displayed to see How can i be sure that he loves me for me, not what i give or what i can be but everything that I am if I haven't truly accepted me for me I long to feel love from a man who created me with his ***** Not physical love from a boy with a toy in it ***** I'm talking something long term Deeply invested in things that cannot be returned or given back Like time, memories, laughs, tears, words, or the lack...thereof

Teamwork is essential to complete the task at hand, we work closely together to meet the demand Each person has thier own important part, to deliver our service, straight from the heart. The empathy we express, the willingness we share, can turn around a customer from pulling out thier hair. We have a few teams both offline and on, we do this so we don't miss anything wrong. We support each other every single day, ensuring everything is covered, nothing left astray. We work with pride and respect one another, we are indeed genuine, it is not a cover. A team requires co-operation and communication between all, and when everyone participates, there is no way to fall. I am proud of our team, and those that lead, always willing and ready to help those in need.

Honesty, Honestly?
The most important things in life are often those we have to choose from at critical times.  They very often represent and determine the course our life will take and to what extent we have in controlling or shaping it.  With whatever choice we make, opportunities arise and by making the most of these we realise the relative benefits to be gained or otherwise.  Through our committment and willingness to achieve a goal, irrespective of what obstacles there may be or we come across, we move forward and progress is made in our endeavour.  If the goal is something we have set our mind and heart on whatever setbacks or obstacles are encountered should then be taken to be the hurdles to overcome. By repeated experience we learn the necessary disciplines with which to train or involve our mind and body to reach our goal. When we recognise and forego or sacrifice certain habits that are not conducive to our overall progress we release more energy by which to accomplish our end.  By sustained right effort we put in motion the train of events that will bring about the right results, but we should not be too attached to the fruits thereof.  Too much attachment is a cause of blindness, disappointment and suffering.  However with the right mental attitudes including positive thinking and actions we should learn from and leave behind past failures by always striving onwards to our desired objective or set goal. The best way to achieve this end is to include in some way the benefit and good of all those concerned whether they be friend or otherwise which will not be easy but will exhibit a spirit of high ethical standards and character and contribute to endearing oneself to others. _______________________________________________________________

Prose: Achieving Our Goal

This poem was written after watching a few hours of slam poetry on Youtube. Let me know what you think...it's my first shot at slam poetry. There are so many words flowing around out there about the big girls. The thick girls, the curvy girls, the p-h-a-t phat girls. About their plush and soft exteriors, their abundant backsides, their willingness to accept themselves and their hopefulness that others will do the same. Their….thereness. They are beautiful, don’t get me wrong. They are beautiful. But what about the skinny girls? The small girls with petite builds and large hearts and an aversion to the word short. The size two and under girls, the drive thru can’t gain a pound girls, the I AM NOT ANNOREXIC OR BULLEMIC girls. The girls who will always be referred to as “pixie-like” or “waif-like” or “twig-like.” The perfect model body girls that all of the other girls hate…because of their lack of fat. Aren’t they beautiful? The girls with the size 32 bust line, the girls who, at 24, still shop in the junior sections of department stores. The girls who, regardless of their age, their strengths and weaknesses, their experiences, heartaches and joys, disappointments and triumphs, their want or need for life and love will always look like they missed a meal or gave it back purposefully with the intent of becoming even thinner. The girls who, no matter how ******* HARD they try, cannot even weigh 100 lbs soaking ******* wet. Aren’t they beautiful? The big girls have to search and search for cute and **** and attractive clothes because of their size. Guess what? So do the skinny girls. Do you know ******* hard it is to find a pair of pants with a size zero waist and a 34 inch leg? To finally find an extra small shirt that doesn’t have one of the top three cartoon characters of the time plastered across the front? All I’m saying is yes, the thick girls, the curvy girls, the p-h-a-t phat girls… They are beautiful. But ****** so am I.

A true leader is a selfless soul, One who thinks not for himself, But for the others, for the many For the halves and for the whole, of humanity Regardless of age or importance to man, It’s not in the memory of their great names, In with which we stand. But in the willingness to mold One’s self into a servant, To humbly hold the troubled hand, And to become the kind of person who doesn’t abuse, The right to demand But instead, looks to enable others, So that they might just begin, and begin again Because all of the power in the world, Can be abused, and removed if misused For this, my dear leaders, I ask of you, To not lose yourself in the arrogance Of discovering that you are indeed you Because true leadership is not about you And leadership, will never be about you So before you lead, would you let go of you That way you might win in spite of you

True Leadership
Falling in love can make me vulnerable Vulnerable to rejection, pangs of jealousy, fear of failure I want relationship, but are so afraid of revealing my innermost self and getting hurt if I do so Vulnerability ended me up in shutting down intimacy ...An uncomfortable feeling I tried to appear perfect, strong and in control In truth it's the opposite of my everything What if he sees me weak? Submissive? Easily hurt emotionally? Susceptible to sadness? But if knowing that he sees and loves me for who I am and to see him in all of his vulnerabilities too and still love each other the way we do now.... Then falling in love means having the strength to face vulnerability Then vulnerability means courage and bravery Then vulnerability means willingness to face uncertainty, taking the risk to be fully committed with the man I truly love Vulnerability is inevitable no matter what we do So does falling in love also is inevitable no matter how we avoid it Embracing vulnerability may just be one of life’s most fulfilling experience All the more if it means connecting with the one we love Then, with all of my vulnerabilities, I am willing to embrace my fears for as long as Im taking the risk of loving the man of my dream Because my love for him is stronger than my vulnerabilities

The source of my sorrow Has been resurrected Along with the memories I had buried. Everything before you was buried, But the burn of whiskey Has robbed every grave I created; Truths brought back by the Numbness of my lips and Willingness of my neighbors ears.

I'm considering rebuilding A wall I levelled; I've no shortage of materials, But I lack The man power, And the willingness, To rebuild this wall Of unforgiveness, On a foundation Of forgetfulness.

A Wall of Unforgiveness
Many in this world will become wolves and even more will be sheep. It is the few who become shepherds that protect the sheep from being populated by the wolves of hatred, fear, and willingness to appose such on the sheep, that are the true protectors, heroes and great leaders that young men and woman should strive and wish to be. The way of the wolf is one that will turn your heart black, your back to your friends, and your back to the world that will cause your mind to become all that is evil, wrenched, and destructive on this Earth. Become the shepherd Drive out the wolf

The Wolves , the Sheep, and The Shepherds
Diving into my insecurities, Replaying the same mistakes Unfolding memories from the deepest crease, Mesmerizing the unforgettable words Reminiscing over faint situations Tears trembling down my face, A wave of nerves tip toe down my spine, Tearing my mind into pieces Thoughts are scattering around, Blemishing the good thoughts Peeling away the flesh of my sanity, Revealing layers of my anxiety Losing sight of what’s right A misunderstanding of my identity, A willingness to be distant From the people I love dearly

Self - Discovery
Once you participate in a race, if not anything else, you know one thing for sure. Your own calibre. It's then you realize and understand you need to make an active participation in every race from here onwards. Your first experience teaches you a lot, since what follows later is an active participation from your side. Over a period of time everything of which you are part starts changing Now it's time to look for a better future Always keep in mind that a secured future cannot be achieved if efforts are not been made An uncertain future not only remains uncertain, but also keeps the present on hold. What is thought upon is not the aim, but also the efforts that need to be made. Always keep in mind take one step at a time while climbing the ladder, then it does not matter how long the ladder is. The only thing that matters and also will make a difference is when you fall off the ladder. At that point in time you will have to decide for yourself whether you want to climb again. It’s not a mistake or an error, something which is done intentionally when you fall off the ladder, since mistakes happen. Better learn from those mistakes and keep going A moment in time will come when you will realize and understand how everything started That will be the great moment in time, since that moment will be important Till then keep going. It’s success that everyone wants, but there is a price for everything, which you pay, including the success that you want. Success comes at a price. Better understand the outside world carefully and then act according to your own experience. Once a step it taken, there is no point in looking back Agreed it’s now or never, but only for those who know what they have been through in the past. Once decided upon something, stick to the same Understand and realize one thing for sure, time and tide waits for no one Always be truthful and honest to yourself, even when you are making all the efforts. Efforts never go wasted when the right direction is sought. Compromise and negotiation is part of the game What’s important to remember is mending your ways for short terms gains, something which remains unacceptable. Act wisely, but be sure that there is no shortcut to success. So it’s the passion and desire in you, inside you The willingness to take the risk and go out for something of which you are absolutely sure. The never give up attitude in life will make everything clear in mind Once decided and everything is set and settled in mind, then from that point onwards proceed towards your aim. Finally all that matters is success. So don’t waste a single moment in time of your life and act according to what you have planned. Definitely a moment in time will come when you will gain success and then the world will be at your feet. Till that point in time comes keep going.

Kindness that Heals
I simply cannot wait, until the internet turns public favor against religion. In its place, the medium that enables globalization will exalt science. We will not fear being wrong. Instead, we will embrace skeptical thinking, and live according to a collective consensus that is based in truth, and not in fear. The problem lies not with your personal connection to the cosmos, but with the established doctrine orchestrated by the elite. Parables and allegory twisted by the desperation of power hungry men. Stories that offer reasonable moral lessons, but are mistakenly perceived to be literal truth. Religion continues to justify acts of prejudice and violence, in the name of storybook characters. We must rise above our iron age fairy tales. Heed the positive lessons, relinquish our fear of death, and learn to exist with an open mind. Survival depends not on who is the strongest or who has the best story, but rather upon a species willingness and capacity to adapt and modify their behavior. Science is our tool. It can save us from ourselves. It is a collective enterprise based upon critical analysis and the constant pursuit of the cold, hard truth. We should not fear what we discover. For knowledge can be spiritually fulfilling. The real beauty of truth based upon empirical evidence, is that even if you do not want to believe it, it remains true.

One Day
Spectrous aberrations of youth Surround him, embrace him Leaving him disoriented, dismayed Amidst sultry belongings He’s tethered to that pole of vicissitude Draped by disfavor Postmarked Valhalla Addressed to Folkvangr Teased by irreverent lovers In pursuit of contentment His chronicles restart In an unpublished testament Bound by leather, cows unfettered One lifeless body stationary Crimson streams part chalk-dry lips As love’s guillotined victim drips His future’s fortune forsaken Willingness to triumph in battle Leaks from this dimension With each fluxing discharge Of her stream’s outgoing apathy And his fluid permeates alluvium In streambeds near life’s summit

Confinement
just another lovesick poem written by another sad boy about being alone or rejected or "in love" as if any of you ************* have the experience to look at another human and know to the depths of your soul that you are in love all lowercase because love isn't trumpets and fanfare love is quiet mornings and simple dinners and a willingness to be vulnerable love is "hi babe I know you've had a rough day at work so you just lay there and let me make you *** or "I'm gonna make you dinner and then I'm gonna tie you up and **** you" love is not what we were taught in church or on the Disney Channel or from a Stephanie Meyers novel love is not what your parents told you "wait to have *** until you're married" abstinence is good condoms are bad your *** should be vanilla men are dominant women are submissive missionary is the only position *** is about procreation not pleasure love is self defined; find it for yourself.

just another lovesick poem
Samhain time spirits are free ***** and lime share our company Smirking at our silliness smugly knowing we'd scream if they showed a willingness to swim in our stream If there feeling naughty we'll experience a feeling something wierd and creepy our senses left reeling We'll put it down to atmosphere or wishful thinking truth if we knew would cause fear our hearts sinking So leave them alone it's their moment cause them to groan and you they'll torment

Samhain
You say one thing And demonstrate another Most of your actions make no sense I'm tired of your tyranny Over my life. I'm starting a rebellion Against you, I'm tired of your controlling ****** behavior, yelling And grounding me for weak reasons You waking me up at 3 am To complain and belittle me Asking me questions that I'm too tired To even comprehend And punishing me for Wrong answers and bad attitudes You've taken everything from me Through sleep deprivation and Lack of free will, lack of privacy you've taken from me My sanity my kindness My little willingness for socialization My level headed disposition My thirst for knowledge and reading My creativity and imagination You've turned me into... I think your turning me into you And starting today, I'm taking myself back

Rebellion
Every piece of pride, Pivoting on the pinnacle of pleasure, Perishing on the petals of a rose, Pink rose. Spring rose. Sprung rose. A perverted willingness to pursue, The spoils of what matters most, pink matter. Outshone a impossibly beautiful performance. One meant for the faithful & virtuous.

Pink
It is impossible to compass life without suffering harm from loved ones. Wrongs that take the ground from under the feet. Wrongs that hurt heart through and through. Wrongs that make us distraught victim. Does forgiveness immunize us for further injustices? Does forgiveness soothe suffering? One thing is certain, everyone has been hurt in life and everyone once inflicted wound: betrayal, selfishness, criticism, unjust judgment, bad word, emotional abuse, unfair reward. Love that bears all things, and endures all things shows the principle of overcoming evil with good. We live in times where love is seen as pleasure. When there is lack of fulfillment the connection ends instead of support in moments of weakness, jointly bearing burden, willingness to give up the ego. In relations underflow of virtues is worthless. Every love at some point hurts. The more we love the greater the suffering. Remember, that you are also sometimes hard to bear. One of the most important lessons in life is non acceptance of evil. Always we are entitled to protest and defense. There is a difference between sagacious enduring of injustice and permition for hard time and  humilitation. Defense against evil should be free from desire for revenge, hate, wrath, punishment and anger. Leave vengeance to God. The point is love. It is she who shows the right path. The cure for the human pain of injustice is forgiveness. Man needs time to forgive, therefore necessary at times of touch of hurt is compassion. Does forgiveness mean to forget? No, forgiveness is an act of will not of forgetting. Great injury can not be erased from memory. Forgiveness is duty that gives hope and strength for the future. Forgiveness is the transition from helplessness to peace of heart. Forgiveness is overcoming anger and grief towards acceptance of reality. Is forgiveness reconciliation? No, although it is a quantum leap in the direction of reconciliation. There is no way to force act of reconciliation. Forgiveness is one thing, and to be mature for reconciliation is another thing. Most important in forgiveness is not to rely on gesture of compensation. Some believe that only weak people forgive. Forgiveness requires tremendous effort and courage. It is easier to sail away in anger than creative dialogue which leads to remedy of the situation. Without forgiveness you can not win with guilt, abyss of past and human frailties. Forgiveness is above all priceless gift for yourself. Forgiveness frees you from inner poisons, and also opens up new lands. If we are able to injure, we are also able to say the sorry and make amends. Act of contrition allows for a true change of heart. Act of forgiveness is the bud of heart at peace.
