I see them, the soles of dead slaves, they talk to me, tell me things, I see them in the fire burning, screaming for them to stop, I hear the whips wapp, wapp,  I feel every strike do you know what that's like, to see the hurt and scars, to feel their pain as if it was you getting the beating, they were out there while the white man was sleeping, in their with another woman, his wife didn't know he was cheating, the molestation of African American women so brutal, so violent, you try to get over it but you cant, wat are we doing laying in the blood of our ancestors, wat are we doing rewriting history, But is it possible we can come together as one and live in unity, and not poverty, is it possible that maybe just maybe we could look into each other's eyes and call ourselves friends ,it is possible but it's only possible if we all try (together).
