What do you do when “I’m sorry,” is not enough?
The struggle to understand that you can’t always take back words
You can’t take back pain
You can’t rewrite the past
You weren’t you but it doesn’t matter
What’s done is done
I care doesn’t mean the same
So you bite your tongue
Stiffen that upper lip
Turn around
And walk away
Things were looking up that day
Not a thing could get in my way
I was making my way through the town
When the clouds rolled in and rain came down

I thought, “Okay, don’t make my day nice and sunny,
I’ll go find a movie that’s funny.”
I went downtown to look around,
No good movies were to be found!

I looked inside a movie store
All I found were sad movies galore
“A real tearjerker,” one proclaimed
“Heartbreaker?” I exclaimed

“No good movies, just my luck.
I guess I’ll go feed the ducks.”
I walked there and what did I meet?
Twelve angry geese that attacked my feet

“Well, that’s just fine and dandy,
You can’t go wrong with some candy,”
Once I got there, lo and behold,
Black licorice and butterscotch, getting old.

“Well ***** it, I’m going home.
Maybe I’ll make a latte with foam.”
What did I find there in the complex?
Old Man Carruthers died with a hex

“******, ******!” his wife cried out
She screamed and screamed and ran all about.
“****** I tell you, And I know who!”
And with grace, she pointed at me and yelled, “YOU!”

They called the police and took me away
Now here I am clutching my cafeteria tray
I have advice, walkaway when things get rowdy,
And remember, sunny days can turn cloudy
This is a ballad I wrote for class.
Told a friend, told a few.
Scary house, pretty knife.
Pretty girl, ugly life.

Mother knew, father saw.
Fathers wife, constant threats.
Sanity hanging by a thread.

I took her hand, ran away.
Or was it casual walking?
Praying for a better place.

Met a man, pretty brown eyes.
Kissed a man, hungry lips.
****** a man, total bliss.

Old friend, new bed.
Lit up, ****** down.
Rested my head, closed my eyes.
Accepting a new life
as a Walkaway.

If he's a cheater.
And he very well might be.
But there's no guarantees that he won't make you happy.
His wicked ways.
Just might have made him change.

Listen to your heart.
Before you decides to walkaway.

Friends and so call experts.
Loves to state what they would do?
As if they hadn't been played for a fool.

This  is your life.
And it's up for you to chose.
So listen to your heart.
It will send a message correctly to you.

We all have lost games that we can never win.
But like many mistakes in life we make.
We get out and try it again.
To prove we more confired about making the right choice.

Advisers means well.
Many are sincere.
Except, they wants to just say it was the right thing to do.

Just remember.
They aren't in your shoes.

sometimes, when I'm in a crowded place
and the voices just get too loud
I just wanna leave. in that moment of
panic
I wanna walk away
just turnaround walkaway
and never come back
go find a rock somewhere
in front of the ocean
and I wanna just sit there and smoke like
six cigarettes

but I never do
I just let my eyes cloud over
and cringe at the peak
of every over-rehearsed laugh

sometimes it gets so bad
I grind my teeth til my bones hurt
like, on the inside

like when my dad told me today
"you know, you should try making more eye contact with people"
and I nearly lost it
I swear my teeth are still humming
and I try to tell him why without crying
and he doesn't understand
and he keeps trying to catch my eye

don't try to help me
and for god's sake don't
please don't
try to ******* fix me

TAKE ME OR LEAVE ME
ACCEPT ME OR WALKAWAY
LOVE ME OR HATE ME BUT DON'T MAKE ME FEEL LESS IF I DON'T FIT YOUR IDEA

We
we hide because
we want to be found
we walkaway just to
see who will follow
we cry to see
who will wipe our tears away
we let our hearts break just to
see who will fix them

I could taste... loneliness in her kiss
A million stars caressing the night sky
We lost track of time, but there was no place we had to be
And in her kiss, I could taste everything
All the guys who said they'd never walkaway, but did anyway
The evenings from her childhood when her parents wouldn't stop fighting
That night back in December when she got a little too drunk and cried herself to sleep
All these memories painted on a canvas
And in that moment, I knew I'd be the one to stay

There wasn't much to really say
On that gray and fateful day
There wasn't much to really say
As I watched her walkaway

See true character, when wrong #badreaction

Only touch with intention #passion

Guard my mouth, watch my lips #buildwalls

If treated with no care, believe #begoodtoyourself

Do not get angry, disappear #walkaway

When silence is all you need #delete

If you can romanticize the hurt,
you must romanticize the heal.
Romanticize that his arms won't be the only thing you'll feel.
Although they were so loving, his kisses tenderly,
remember he chose to walkaway
he could have chosen me.

Could this be a Revelation warning?
The last days
A matter of time
Sun and Moon with no shine
Smoke screen elements all combined
Scientist call haze
I call it Heaven’s amaze
Message doom
The hour and second could come soon
Scientist say wildfires from Canada
Do we really know?
The Earth is on notice having a show
A time to continue to pray
Heaven’s attention to Earth being no time to walkaway
Observe and listen with a message like a relay
Back to wearing a face mask
Scientist say back to the task
Moment now
Oh wow
No one knows when this smoke screen will lift
Heaven’s way, catch my drift
Stay indoors
Avoid outdoors
Be patient and wait
Don’t hesitate
Nothing no one can do
Live your life out and continue to pursue
Observe and be prepared
Earth, look up and be aware
Act like you care
Beware
It’s what is in the air
We don’t know how much more the Earth can bare
