"vitality" poems
Every year we have been witness to it: how the world descends into a rich mash, in order that it may resume. And therefore who would cry out to the petals on the ground to stay, knowing as we must, how the vivacity of what was is married to the vitality of what will be? I don't say it's easy, but what else will do if the love one claims to have for the world be true? So let us go on, cheerfully enough, this and every crisping day, though the sun be swinging east, and the ponds be cold and black, and the sweets of the year be doomed.

The burning flowers underline the sunset and  Dash before the fire (k)night catches them. Ripe berries cheaply tremble  but hopefully their vitality won't burst the pulp pulsating beneath. Crumbling flowers crumb the floor And Prisms of catching silver refract rose quartz and petal and crimson dust. Bejewelled in Scarlet, the air, as the (k)night approaches, grows colder, Unsure of whether he will bring solace or strife. In his chariot he flies faster than the bees which buzzed around the fruit flutes in the morning and among the trumpeting bluebells. Stars fleck the (k)night like freckles and the milky ways resins stain his spouting steams lovely.  The (k)nights kind onyx reaches his crescendo and the floating moon danced drowsily through the cloud's spiralled tendrils Which diminish as dawn approaches so their Tentilcles droop to crinkled tissue paper sheathed in pink. And so the (k)night rides on into The frivolous sunrise. The lowing, glossy calves in sage beside the ***** fields cast a beloved ambience  As though we are safe in the knowledge that the sky will remain forever topaz and the leaves forever emerald.

The (k)night
My head, my heart, they are empty, producing, containing nothing. Yet, they are stuffed to the max, flooding with thoughts, emotions, worries, hopes. How can one be so empty, yet so full? I am a ghost existing, alive and dead in this twisted world. They drain us of vitality and fill us with emptiness. We are the lost. Don’t bother looking for us, we are already gone, found.

Filled With Emptiness
I met a friend today His name was Death He smiled big with pure white teeth And minty fresh breath I asked him what he did for a living Staring blankly at me, batting his eyelashes He did the opposite of giving What did that mean? But the closer I got to Death The better I understood his scheme In his sharp black suit he won me over I felt an irresistible draw Like to a diamond in the rough, or a four leaf clover He convinced me of the beauty in the night That when the moon was hidden from view There was nothing better than the lack of light He led me from my lust for life Sang to me in my sleep Whispered sweet nothings and handed me the knife I tried to pull away from my newly found friend But his choke hold was so tight On him I started to depend The world could see me deteriorate into nothing He held me harder and closer With shortness of breath I stood huffing and puffing Enclosed in the lackluster of our friendship I became numb The emotions drifted with my vitality I tried to retrieve them but could only attain 1/5th of my former sum The more time you spend with a person The more you become like them I suppose I couldn't see the situation worsen Collar around my neck he leashed me like a dog I cared so deeply for him My haze filled mind ignored the dense fog I came to terms with my life long trap Death circled like a satellite around my position No matter where I went he found my place on the map Eventually I succame to this fate Despite his control Death, I could not hate I loved him too dearly to notice the signs I couldn't think clearly His presence was odious and it wasn't benign

To realize, your malice intent, and power hungry destruction of my most hidden and vulnerable ***** I am relieved to be free of your vindictive and spiteful soul; everything about you is abrasive, brooding and angry, vicious and ugly That person,  so gentle and endearing is lost, I am not so sure he even exists, just one of your many disorderly personas And to think of my pain, self-mutilating thoughts and attempts to make sense of the shock trying to free myself from your lock of enamoring lies. I could feel the end when we had just sprouted, battling my intuition with a fawn dawn heart- with you, I finally felt full after some empty time. But upon reflection of your undeniable misogyny, I thank you! I could not be more thankful for you exiting my life, the confirmation of this delusion we called love, I am so thankful I was tricked, you see, without honesty, I could only give you so much, and only that much, is what you could take away from me- Leaving behind such vitality and adventurous expression, Charm, wits and sentiment for living the performer in me you never could accept, Merely shaking the strength only a woman could have. You could never break me, although you tried- and in that I find pity, that you feel so small You seek power in destroying a lover like breaking a heart is a triumph, You are no huntsman and I am not your doe I refuse to be your object for show

A Death blow is a Life blow to Some
I think everyone dies I truly do Every time they close their eyes They remain motionless for hours Until they are revived Do you disagree? Clearly you do Care to show me your proof So that it may sway me To a more accepted pasture "Well what of their vitality?" "They still move and shiver" "And they breathe as if alive" "Surely if something died" "Their movement would cease" Yes, their heart beats, and yes, they awaken But I truly think they, themselves, leave Why do I arrive at this? You mean how, Through a simple observation I suppose it, at least, to me It began like this: When blackest blanket with yellow dots encircled The sky and the heavens above I found myself watched and groped by the air For someone was watching me When nobody was there.

Void
Maids, not to you my mind doth change; Men I defy, allure, estrange, Prostrate, make bond or free: Soft as the stream beneath the plane To you I sing my love's refrain; Between us is no thought of pain, Peril, satiety. Soon doth a lover's patience tire, But ye to manifold desire Can yield response, ye know When for long, museful days I pine, The presage at my heart divine; To you I never breathe a sign Of inward want or woe. When injuries my spirit bruise, Allaying virtue ye infuse With unobtrusive skill: And if care frets ye come to me As fresh as nymph from stream or tree, And with your soft vitality My weary ***** fill.

'Maids, not to you my mind doth change'
Searching your mind, Revealing your soul. A piece of my mind, Making you whole. The depths of your feelings, Defines the depths I will go. I know what I know, Time for me to show, How well though. Like never before, Here I go. Persuading your body, In so many ways, You're powerless to evade, The prowess of my ways. Caressing your tenderness. These moments your memory will replay; Haunting parts of your body in a special way. Reminiscent of this very day, Our parts bonding as we lay. Still influenced in ways you can't see, Rather feel, so its as real as can be. These unique pleasures bestowed upon you, Impaling your reality with my point of view. This abundance of energy; this vitality. A reflection of you and me. Enticing you mentally, controlling you physically, releasing you and me chemically.

Tension
Raw energy. Despite the stiffness in his fingers, despite the way his fingertips harden with calluses, the industrious pianist hammers out the same tune that he played last night, and the night before, and the night before that, and unnumbered evenings before that. Each notes falls magically into place, none out of tune or without purpose, perfectly in time. Raw diligence and focus flooding his brown eyes, gazing deeply into the sheet music. His yellow forehead wanted dabbing, Steeped in his sweat. A manifestation of his time spent in his trade. The conscientiousness in his eyes. The raw vitality of his weathered hands. The way he fills each note with sentiment. Perhaps those are what keep calling me near?

Upon the wings of doves it was pure Their purest white Feathers Glided, Floated, Nestled Its clearness, Its symbolic touch Upon my yet to be woken heart, For this beauty showed what was In front of my eyes, Feathers did come down like snow Not only touching mine, Awoken, Revived, Vitality Sprung forth, emotions were flowering Everywhere, My heart was touched By a feather of purest love, That is when our eyes meet, I saw a feather Caress your loneliness and we Were transformed from Solitude, Seclusion, Sorrow To hearts that were now awoken, The true feeling stirred from inside, To love at first sight, We were like the feathers Our hearts had taken flight, We were in love as white feathers fell, The symbol of love had opened our hearts To what was always Within our now flourishing hearts.

Before I Wilt
301 I reason, Earth is short— And Anguish—absolute— And many hurt, But, what of that? I reason, we could die— The best Vitality Cannot excel Decay, But, what of that? I reason, that in Heaven— Somehow, it will be even— Some new Equation, given— But, what of that?

I reason, Earth is short
Rising like smoke from the eternal spring Approaching with rose petals at her feet Angel of hope sheds light on everything Whenever life is bitter more than sweet Within our secret gardens of desire Fountains of sparkling passion locked away Therein lies hope, forever to inspire lest optimism ever goes astray Age sometimes dims the dancing flame of hope And drudgery weakens vitality Darkness and sorrow sometimes interlope Between us and our dearest fantasy Yet human spirit finds a way to cope As long as we find inroads back to hope.

Hope (sonnet)
Writing a story on a topic, Hazing away at the microsoapics, I write stories that aren’t meant to be fun, Just the basic humdrum. Reality is my Inspiration, No matter the mood I’m in. Dragons and Wizards are to be left on the bookshelves, As I run to work, And meet my colleagues for a day of writing reality. We walk the world in actuality, And see people with all different vitality. People of all different ideas of reality. They speak, I listen, I ask, And they answer, And we both learn about reality together. I then write what I heard, Tell what I saw, And let the ideas fly like birds. I've seen all people of life, I've heard many of there trifes. I laughed at their victories, I cry at their lost, And I hear all their vivid histories. I write all types of reality, From the memories of all different types of vitalities. And as I write about how reality unfurls, I write about the greatest dreams of this world

A Journalistic Approach
The shivering eyeglasses lazily coating the ground Break way to the budding of the season. To reincarnate is to live the anomaly, The evergreen boughs bend in the wind. Coalescing crystals form dew on our morn To leave a fresh taste, on lips, on tongue. The time is imminent, but the dawn is young, My white Orchid, born to the sun. Simply, optically, it's to weak to touch Unworthy digits, to blind to see. My scarlet levees, to right to feel. The ivory blossom, to right to be real. Under the canopies, the shimmering outline Moves closer until the mirror cracks And our reflections are polymorphicly one, Our hearts still polyamorously two. I yearn to dream of lucid lavender, The aroma surrounds the dream, still dreamed The scent so real, or so it seemed Encapsulating this moment in amber. Until we sleep, until we fly Together. Our wings open to embrace the quilted high. Our mouths embrace to fill the void, Unleash the magic, bathing us in light Bricks and mortar overlap my thoughts But time alone is not a wall. Time alone, it cannot fall And it still ticks with the beat of my pendulum. Oh flower, oh life, vitality aplenty. Your hideousness, a secret untold, Withers to your beauty, yet to unmold. Le voyage fantasme is here for me now. And now the grains slip between my toes. The sandcastles caress the glass of our hour. It's never too late, but always on time, So before the light fades, kiss me and say "I'll sleep tonight, I'll dream of you." Orchid, my Orchid, love, my love I'll dream with you forever.

1046 I’ve dropped my Brain—My Soul is numb— The Veins that used to run Stop palsied—’tis Paralysis Done perfecter on stone Vitality is Carved and cool. My nerve in Marble lies— A Breathing Woman Yesterday—Endowed with Paradise. Not dumb—I had a sort that moved— A Sense that smote and stirred— Instincts for Dance—a caper part— An Aptitude for Bird— Who wrought Carrara in me And chiselled all my tune Were it a Witchcraft—were it Death— I’ve still a chance to strain To Being, somewhere—Motion—Breath— Though Centuries beyond, And every limit a Decade— I’ll shiver, satisfied.

I’ve dropped my Brain—My Soul is numb—
*She created A doorway in her mind, she always keeps one foot in And one foot out. However, Her mind is always lingering On the other side - She often feels the need To breakout! On the other side, The trees are wise ancient Majestic giants, Rustic leaves Cover the fertile ground. The moon is always full, It is always perfectly round. The sun is always shining, But sometimes she has it rain - Just to hear The sweet serene sound... She loves the smell Of the earth afterwards - The damp rich ground. On the other side of the doorway, Her soul is free - Here, She is immune From emotional stress, Strain, and pain. Inspiration is carried Through the wind, There is nothing to lose, But everything to gain. Nature, Is always most accepting, Embracing her essence, Here, she is alive, She has an illuminated spirit - A pure white glowing presence. She never needs to struggle For her every breath... Everything is truly alive - Nothing, at all, resembles death. Rivers, crystal-clear, Flowing with vitality, Flora and fauna, Beauty in an abundance - Thriving, Celebrating their precious Individuality. Magnificent mountains Reaching into heaven, The bluest ocean, Wrapping itself around A breathtaking coast, Everything about this place Is what she adores - What her soul absolutely loves The most. On this side, Nobody can disturb her peace, Nobody can break her spirit, Nobody can take her freedom, Nobody can invade her tranquil thoughts - that's all there is to it! Here, Butterflies and doves Glide through the air, In dance - Touching her eyes With a heavenly love - So pure. She always keeps one foot in And one foot out, But her heart and her soul Reside here - Because here, Less, is more! By Lady R.F ©2016*

*Venturing out Into the woods. Everything behind her Is in Black and white - Grey, but with a hope-filled Blue sky. Her red butterfly Carries her transformed ideals Within - it's always hovering close-by. With every forward step, Away from this manipulated painful reality, The scenery is painted, Bringing it all to life - A rainforest green; Her sacred canopy. Vivid, Ever so bright, Be it, by day, Or, be it, by night. Black and white do not exist On this side of her world - There's no grey! Here, even shadows embrace The blessed, illuminated, Brilliant, pure light. Doom, Gloom, And dullness, Instantaneously banished! Momentously replaced by An addictive, elated state of vitality - A miraculous invisible substance; She embraces her newfound sanity! Insanity just vanished! Her aura Paints her surroundings, They are so alive - In high definition, in full colour. There are no toxins here, No sorrow, Nothing is needed, Time stands still - No need to borrow. All of the brokenness Is left behind, She wanders off! - Her soul Free to unwind. Here, she has no fear of heights - There is a sacred comfort In all that is phenomenally high,   And so, In all that grows, From deep down Below. She inhales purity Into her lungs, She exhales All of her noxious emotions, She sighs with relief, As she lets them all go. Sinking her feet Into the rich ground, Each footstep brings her closer To the edge of her world; This is where she is often found. Here, she is free... She asks herself  "To stay, or to go?"  The answer, she already knows, The soft breeze carries This wanderlust decision away, As the free-spirited wind Gently blows. By Lady R.F ©2016*

Where The Forest Meets The Sea
There are no toxins here, No sorrow, Nothing is needed, Time stands still - No need to borrow. today you took me by surprise, bright smile, dancing eyes, loosened the noose on yet another lonely day, wherein the depths of these shadows I do lay, again, you came a-light, golden skin, heart a-flight, taking the time to share some of your life with me, the very essence of your softly sweet vitality, beauty, you breathe the skies, today you took me by surprise

you took me by surprise
This poem is dedicated to the fallen of the First World War, and also, to all those we have lost in the years since. - Somme Harvest - In the early morning Dawn of the fiery horizon, The sea of green caresses the land And gave it gentle kisses Of tender sadness. On this day many an unlived life would find Life in Death, but first must come Death in Life, Indeed, a bouquet of barbs grace the Dark, dank, ***** Halls of Morningstar, Servants go to and fro preparing the sordid feast Of unsung heroes. Babes in arms are they, who shall Ever sleep till the break of the final day. Fields of Flanders infertile, But for the harvest to ripen The fertilizer of life is Scattered, battered, tattered, Sown, Human manure, nutrient of vitality, It seeps into earthly soil. In the year of our Lord, One thousand, nine hundred and sixteen Did the farmers collect their greatest bounty, Not all farmers reaped massive yields, Farmers Kultur, Sickle and Hammer Fed their maniacal hunger with rotting corpses, While famers Lion, Bulldog and Bald Eagle Wept their hunger with mechanical eyes, Farmer Scythe, steward of Morningstar, Laughed dry, dead tears of hungry joy And sang the golden harvest song As his blade swam through the harvest thirstily, For indeed, the harvest was an endless Smoky sea of blood green And thousands were sailing. Twilight gleaming through the sky, The raging war god vomit’s dry thunderous wrath And wreaks barbaric, savage, ferocious, ****** carnage below, As sleeping Babes in arms fly through the red twilight. Vultures dressed in human feathers Gather and crowd around their congealing cold feast, With hatred sewn on their Lifeless, lidless Blind eyes, They shriek their throaty, ****** Thankless prayers to idle gods. A multitude of thousands upon thousands Of souls sour to the heights of Mount Olympus, Unshed tears, My child, I saw you in that dusky evening half-light, Flying, soaring and rising higher with your Brothers-in-arms. As I looked up at the darkening sky My heart wept warm tears of ebbing love, While my eyes forever dimmed the light, And my baby, My body became the Earth, The phoenix has nested.
