skies darker than midnight
eyes wider than owl
freshened grasses beneath us
splattered stars above us
let's gaze up
help them find their way to each other
link those twinkles into constellations
our fingers intertwined
as thoughts wander about
green pupils unseen

we're no longer nocturnal
feeling productive at 4am
Left Foot Poet Jun 2014
some times I believe,
not think,
but believe,
that there are indeed little figures in the grass,
brushing my ankles with tickles and laughs

sometimes in mid of velvet black,
can see them waving their six fingered hands
in front of the lights across the bay,
for the twinkles are different, their winkles,
semaphoric, euphoric, random but patterned

every know and every then,
could they be inside me,
inciting riots, sugar sharp pains,
in places where pain has no place purposed,
feel them lifting my-back-of-the-neck hairs,
at scary movies, making an ear itchy, why?

these elusives
are fairie godmothers,
personal angels,
hobgoblins,
shoulder sitters,
amusing muses
ear whisperers,
of new poem titles

sock stealers,
shoelace knoters,
giggling self-amusers,
ever present, ever invisible,
hat hiders, wet spot slider installers

you say you know them too?

cousins perhaps, for my elusives,
could not be here and there,
for they are:

as I write,
as I speak,
this very second
fluttering my eyelids,
those rascals,
to lay me down to sleep,
in cherishing tenderness me to keep
for they know too well,
sleep,
is an elusive of a different kind,
like peace of mind,
but they do their best,
to distract me unto rest

It is seasonal
limited time period
Your smile, his frown
My car, her scar
A small episode by far.

Tiny twinkles
Cloudy atmosphere
Pull push
Open and close the door
Then sit on the floor.

Tired
And rest
Blooming rose
And the bleeding thorns
Leaving the pieces torn.

All it begins
And ends
We live and die
Nothing remains
No entertainment.

Replaced fractions
Divided notions
Agreed and discarded
Lies filled in truth
Because life gives no proof.

Ten steps, eleven jumps
Crawling there
After a huge fall
In between few moments
A sad sentiment.

A vacant headspace
It came and went away
Nothing stays
Good bad ****
All too early
A thought left
Distant.

Rough days
Cold nights
replaces warmth
tight shoulders
Stiff movements
Aching muscles.

The bitter taste
Sweetened in spring
And the autumn leaves
Winter is coming
The ages pass
Just like that

a poem about the non-rational sacred

song of a shattered world

Across the spectrum of religious experiences—from the archaic and chthonic experience of sacred power to organized religion—surrealism arises in that elusive threshold between the sacred and the profane, between the illuminations and of everyday life and the more formal expressions of the sacred. The mysterious, contradictory nature of this liminal zone is embodied in surrealist literature and art: matter becomes metaphor; the ordinary object becomes extraordinary; and images evoke emotional disturbance and ambiguity rather than specific ideas. The ambivalent force of the surreal resists conventional rational categories of intellectual discourse. Behind its elusive potency of mood and charged associations lie the fundamental ambivalence and non rational power of the sacred.

There was a knock on
the door , the dogs started to
bark , I thought who is

it , as I open
the door a delivery
man stood there holding
a big brown parcel

My name was on it!
I thought to myself I ain't
ordered anything

Well I already
got my new boots the other
day an awesome wedge

I got a knife to
ping open plastic ribbon
I slowly open

the cardboard box to
find another box colour
of magnolia

wrapped in black ribbon
I thought it must be a late
wedding present , who

is it from! I smiled
then I open the box and
there lied a book dressed

in a silver dress
Like a beautuful cloudy
day filled with twinkles

of splashy rain , it
was me and my Deans wedding
book , I open first

page and happy tears
rolled down my face , pictures so
beautiful shined like

a summers day filled
with joyful butterflies and
memories to keep

For it was one of
the best days of my life to
finally marry

my lovely dean , and
together we shared with
all our family

I shall tuck the book
away for another day
So I can smile and

feel my heart grow big
and to comfort me when the
sun takes a short nap
Was such a lovely surprise today xxxx
Take care ***
At twilight, when everything is black
Something silvery arose from the shadows of the dark
While the diamonds appear and stark

At twilight when everything is black,
The sky, not a single diamond it lack
On a wonderful journey of twinkles, it embark

Seeing high beyond the tree's bark
The diamonds glittered as though to spark
While the diamonds appear and stark

At twilight when everything is black
The diamonds glisten to reembark
For the leaves nod as though to hark

At twilight when everything is black
The moon speaks its gentle remarks
While the diamonds appear and stark

The clouds clear to reveal the sky
And those who try to hit this mark
To touch the sky diamonds that lie high,
Leave behind their mark

Nature is the beauty that gives life peace
The smooth patter of water as it trickles through the stones
The bright sparkle of the sun that twinkles off the water
The clouds that dance and float through the air
Nature is eternal and pure
The wind that whispers through the leaves
The bird’s song that ricochets off the water
Fills my heart
The lullaby that brings me childish joy
Nature is innocent and precious
The stillness of the water is eerie
And gives a sense of loneliness and death
The chaos of the birds
Exacts feelings of excitement
The chill breeze
Gives a sense of nervous joy and giddiness
Nature is conspicuous and timeless
The last shred of hope for peace
The first and last paradise
Left for humans to exterminate
True reconciliation
Nature is the beauty that gives life peace
I originally wrote this because I was inspired by this beautiful picture I took of a lake that is near my house. It's so isolated and beautiful. Everything is just peaceful. Why can't the rest of the world be this way?

Glistening surface,
shiny twinkles,
Down the valley,
Quenching thirst.
Drops of elixir,
Blood red petals,
Warmth is gold.

My eye
sees your
words,
floating
like crosses
of hyacinth,
a campaign
of brightness.

And
your eye,
sweet
spark,
it twinkles
with fields
sown
with
music.
Hazel

your eyes

Soon,
my eyes

you walking

pure as

The looks

A ray of sunlight

Metal spirits,
sparkling sprites,
the glowing fae
light up the night.

Dancing twinkles
of fireflies
and pixie dust,
collect in the throat
of those who
get to close to
these magical beings.

An elder treeant
with sturdy wood,
watches elves dance
cause those ears
wiggle real good.

Heavy dragons’ scales
unbalance all
as werewolves
jump from a cliff
to free fall,
and vampires
turn to smoke
and float
off.

Skin-walkers,
and zombie dudes
keep on migrating
out of our view
cause though they
like brains
they know humans
are far more dangerous
then their dwindling crews.

It isn't a monster mash
more like
a mythic
mix up,
that gets up
to whatever it wants
in the magical forest
that it haunts.

You felt nothing for me. Not even a shred of love.
But you created a rainbow illusion, with smiles and star twinkles in your eyes.
Only long enough until your heart was fit to love again.
And through that period I thought no other had to look for you
Because you were fated to love me.
But like a flower, with dawn light you bloomed, your broken heart saw day light.
And you sought love beyond perfection
You exposed my little needy heart, my sour love and my charm poverty.

With a torn heart I held on to my delusions that you could see beyond physical beauty
I hoped you could see what was inside my heart
Every single night that you ignored my calls
I prayed for the next day to come so that I could try again
I held on to pain
I held on to pain
I held on to pain

I saw butterfly
it was orange with black spots
and very tiny

It fluttered gently
near some over grown weeds , I
thought to myself

aww how cute is that!
It’s autumn already and
leaves are falling

slowly! There gliding
like aeroplanes ready to
land upon earth

Soon the trees will be
all leafless but there still be
standing mighty proud

Aww I think maybe
the insects think it’s still a
happy summers day!

Rain is on its way
I saw the clouds gather for
a meeting , it looked

important , But I
didn’t ask , I thought maybe
there think I’m nosey!

Rain is lovely too
It twinkles and it glistens
And makes trees happy

There a song about
rain it’s called Pitter Patter
raindrops ,,aww that’s cute

Maybe I will see
another butterfly soon
Ooh how exciting
A morning, unveiling the light,
The light promising a bright day,
Who knew that the reins were already set from heaven
Ever-ready to eclipse the promising light!

The choked breath paused the minutes,
Even the seconds wailed to go on.
There it was-the body on the chariot,
to be set on the journey of being immortal!

The tears rolled down her eyes,
Millions of beads falling one on one
Like it was meant to be threaded,
To be worn as the garland of victory!

The garland beads before the ending mortality,
Flowed and dried as the fire consumed
The flame purifying the soul,
Know that the light shall always bless you!

Don't dare you cry!
And why shall ever you?
For the body that disappeared,
But the soul shall always guard you!

The countless moments of shouts,
The bucket and mug on its sunday routine,
Like the freshness draping the dried body,
And her blessings shall always be yours!

It feels like it happened yesterday,
as if it happened in a moment's flash,
She waits and stares at the door,
at her hands with memories painting her eyes!

Her hands feel the emptiness,
The mug and bucket stares at her,
The nightly-awakened loud cries,
Yes, her heart thumps and thumps!

Minutes resumed on a slow note,
Seconds swiftly slid,
But the heart that contained it all,
Lost the battle to time!

Adorned in a beautiful attire,
The jewellery adding twinkles to that star,
She gave her hand to her grand-daughter,
Yes, the hands were no more lonely!

She says-it was blissful
To meet her again, to defeat the time.
Grandma says-"it has just been five days and I feel tired",
Soon someone spilled water on those colorful images!

She walked again-back as a mortal,
With their hands merging as one!
Like the dream was itself a reality,
She did win it- the race with time!

I planned to meet the Nivecian butterfly,
Her kingdom attacked and shattered,
Still she murmured, still she smiled,
Being the anomaly to all!

The wounds of the deadly sword,
Still fresh with no blood in sight,
She was afraid if the fate was more cruel,
And if the same happened to her mom and dad!

A new morning casted another eclipse,
She was unknown to forthcoming but scared,
of the cruelty of that never-losing time,
The chariot again arrived at her castle.

Numbed with the pain,
She looked at her mother's body,
Her memories trapped in the wildfire,
She remembers her journey from the diapers to the hands that wiped her tears!

She shouted one day at her mummy-
Why are you not even letting me rest in holidays?
Her Mom was low in haemoglobin,
She utterly regretted her words!

Like a child she is as we all are,
The shouts and our childish threats once become our memory.
Mummy, she says she is numb to even cry,
But she calls to you-time and again!

She cannot cry anymore,
Millions of beads already woven into garlands,
She gave all she had,
To those two beloved-loved and alone!

Her wizard drowning into loneliness,
With the vidoes of his wife stuffing life in her running all twenty four hours,
As if she will return-the mighty she wizard
to her beloved , he wizard!!

The Nivecian butterfly now flutters,
Her wings beautiful,young and wet,
She seeks to rebuild her kingdom,
With the magic of her Dad!

She now has loaded responsibilities,
Of herself and her wizard,
Both of them make a wonderful team,
Their smiles-the oxygen to each other!

He sits without his potion,
But the beautiful butterfly seeks to brew for him,
The potion filled,the happiness instilled,
Their laughter consuming the space!

The cuelest of all happened to her,
On the 18th of May and the 8th of JUNE!
Shall ever be on the pages of our history,
The memories being our lifeline!

I call out to her-
Let your wings paint the world-
The world of your Dad, the very world of yours, the world of all!
Flutter ,rise and soar higher,
For that ending sky is your beginning!

I wish your words reach beyond spheres,
To that ever-expanding dimensionless universe,
the timeline failing before you!
You are a strong, beautiful mystery for all!

Yes, you are the most-powerful heroine in my page,
The pages of my life shall always breathe in your story,
It will forever be inspired by the tales of your glory,
You are the best Nivecian- even the two souls from heaven will bid for you!

O rich Heaven! The owner of earths! You already own the infinity!
Diamonds in the size of the mount Olympus, even vast,
Torches numberless, thousand times bigger than the phoebus,
Every departed soul from the past twinkles already on your lap large,
Seas without shores and the biggest of all ball floors,
Legends with roots so dense even light cannot probe, what's one more?
Of all combinations between the south and the north
O greedy Heaven! You lust for my love!

Don't rob this poor with such rich hands, I pray to you,
Even if I refrain others will rave and stain.
O don't pluck the apples of my eyes. Shame!
Had I been a beggar that blindness would have given me fame!
But living under your roof doesn't allow me to beg,
So, my sole request- let my loves throb in my rustic chest.

Ethereal rift, shimmering tide
Calm as ripples dancing across the sea
A standstill beauty where we coincide
Gazing gently, comforting me.

Blanketing sparkle of speckled dust
Swirling sea foam and warming light
Cocooned bliss within complacent trust
Soothing me softly with twinkles bright.

Stepping onto glassy plains
Mirrors to my internal plight
Reflection of eternity remains
As I fade to the night.

Floating faintly I drift away
As gentle gales push ever so slight
Embracing me, my love, I cannot stay
As I fade into the night.

Your mild eyes take up the entire sky
It twinkles hazel and your hair hangs down
It is the trees and forest animals
Your body is lakes and lakes of love
Your mind is behind it all
Urging my heart to beat,
Beat stronger
Run harder
Trust muscles to take weight
And know I'm in a sacred place

When your hands reach up to hold my head,
I'm a string of the universe being plucked
I was sitting there,
Waiting to be played
Alive to be part of some beautiful melody
And you play me like piano keys
You strum my heart like a guitar
