The Sonnet on: Life
Working her hands As she cleans the tables With magnificent strength But soft as a turtledove I notice her joyful smile My words a few As my tongue began to tighten No action shall come between us To a monument of speculations As my heart bleeds For her sponge of hope I exit How can a delicate woman clean a lustful soul? Watching from afar While leaving her alone

Lustful Cafe
I watched two turtle doves perched high among the mango leaves, It was the end of a summer's day and start of summer's eves, I watched them there the turtle pair , the female here and the male just there, He prepared with his display of woo This is the way that turtledoves do, White feathered tail ,fanned up and flail in hopes that she would see. That he was the lover she was looking for and they were meant to be enamoured with her feathers brown He longed to nestle in her feathery down Mr turtledove professed his love, still high among the trees She did see him there and all his flair and she flew off into the breeze

To my heartbroken friend
a turtledove being attacked by wild beasts doesn't wait to cry out for help or for You nor do I all I ask for is You to fight for me since I seem to be too weak; You and I have been here before; I have not forgotten Your kindnesses

psalm 74
Verse: No, you can't hide from from me, the tears about to fall. The animated eyes that ease me, I can see no more. To you I'm just buffoon, tryin' hard to be a beau. Let me be the piece missin' to fill your life. Refrain: There's a tough and daunting road we have to walk, ahead. You're a Sunday rainbow in the distant sky. Chorus: Lean on this stuttering chest and you will feel, the blithe that you are longing to embrace. Give me a chance to show you, how much you're loved and you are cared. How far you walk away, doesn't matter. I'll chase you and mend your broken heart. You can share with me that pain because I love you, most in the world. Verse: Oh, I can hear the voice of singing turtledove. That's the sound of love echoing inside my ears. Bridge: Come on and hold my hand once again. Come on let's shake these fears out our heads. Bring back the sparkling smile in your face. Never give up, 'cause I won't give for both of us. Chorus: Lean on this stuttering chest and you will feel, the blithe that you are longing to embrace. Give me a chance to show you, how much you're loved and you are cared. How far you walk away, doesn't matter. I'll chase you and mend your broken heart. You can share with me that pain because I love you... most in the world.

To my Turtledove in residense.(1) The Almond Tree of my garden. Hiding gently behind my hanging baskets, curious ,well aware On this very fresh, pure and lucid morning,I guess you unaware Was scouting around the blue sky, well perched quite proudly upon The branches of my rich “Almond Tree”,loaded with fruits anon. Gentle Turtledove, you and I are blessed to be sharing,in our bosoms With pride and joy, this holy instant perfumed by the almond blossoms, That feeling of bonding made me suddenly aware that we could all Enjoy these moments of closeness with each of those around us all. You would agree gentle Turtledove, that warmth is a skill, alike love, For sure, and should be spread around and shared around with love. Capacities for magic powers of tolerance, acceptance, understanding, Are there, imbedded cautiously within our soul and heart, hearing The multitude of suffrance, despair, and injustice, upon then we could Move mountains, all obstacles against all odds.Lending a hand would Aliviate pains and incertitutes, stretching our magic powers we could. Thank you my Turtledove Geneviève

The Almond Tree
The voice of my beloved! Look , he comes. leaping upon the mountains, bounding over the hills. My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Look, them he stands behind our wall gazing in at the windows, looking through the lattice. My beloved speaks and says to me; "Arise, my love, my fair one. and come away; for now the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.

SPRINGTIME RHAPSODY
To my drenched Turtledove. Sorry to see you in such a state, through my bedroom window, Drenched and rather confused by the sudden flush of rain, below. Surprised by this painful view, tears came promptly down in a row. There I stood, like so many in this world, witnessing, facing tragedies, Becoming nummed by what I saw, speechless by the realities, Of wars, aggressions, deaths, hunger, homelessness, and all lossess. As I stood glaring at the outside world,I retreaved my reasoning, Within a short while, our glorious sun, imposed his presence, loving As usual his smart amazing surprises:now the rain:now the sun. Us two, little Turtledove, have regained warmth, safety, and conforting Conditions, thanks to our faithful sun.Sadly the wars are still acting Destroying our fellow people's dreams before our own eyes, with fun. Kindred spirit like yourself is difficult to find,Turtledove. Geneviève.

To my drenched Turtledove.
Sweet coma canopy, brain bath in solemn loops, a gentle washing away of handprints, Makes the bed, blanketed by dreams, rest upon reimagined partitions, instead of the jagged edge, But there are holes in the architecture, pliable infrastructural tunnels to navigate through, Lucky termite splinters the mind, this delicious library, and feasts upon before all acquired souvenirs settle into books, It's then a young turtledove lifts off toward October next, searching for the dry twigs with which to build closure.

Dreams of a Sleeping World
I know your heart's buried From your cavalcade of exes, But there has to be a girl Who will pick up your ashes. Let's not pretend You'll be made for each other (Destiny is ******** But you'll be happy together. She'll be different (She won't cheat). She'll be mostly what you want A dream girl to be. I say mostly because You're not made for fantasy. You're made for a girl With equal idiosyncrasy. You're not made for dreams, As you're emotionally ****** You're only human and deserve Another human to love. And that's great because Humans have the deepest loves. You're no hopeless romantic Looking for a turtledove. You're... irregularly spectacular, Like she will be too, But know that she Isn't waiting for you. She's in your situation (Or one worse than mine). She could only hope for An irregular boy in time. But by chance or By ******** destiny, Your decidedly imperfect love Will come to be. So after you have the heart To mend your own scratches, Go looking for that girl And raise each other's ashes.

Irregular Spectaculars
Once upon a time ago, A phoenix dared kiss a dove; Together, wings beat with love, With ador true, passion slow. Phoenix of autumnal light, Hearts collide and lit aglow. Together, they could both grow, Through open skies they took flight. Once they moved in tandem, now Still as a set sun they lay. Easy love they did portray; Though turtle promised no vows. Here the anthem doth commence: Love and constancy is dead; Died it did when Phoenix fled, Dove still feels a loss, immense. Phoenix from ash is reborn; And perfect as they hath seemed (Like nothing could come between) The dove from ash remains torn. Feathers of flame and fury, Fervor, passion, sparks ignite, And ashes spread like a blight, Below, dove burned to bury. Reciprocity a dream, With singed wings, dove died on dirt, What remained; a numbing hurt, Death of love is now the theme. For True Love does not exist, Phoenix burned the whole night through, From turtledove they withdrew, Love is only reminisced. So heed this tale as warning: Wise the owl who stands alone, Or eagles heart, cut from stone, Now the crows stay in mourning.

Epicedium of The Phoenix and the Turtle
Hello there. I greet you gently with the fireplace, warmed by our hearts entwined as our spirits chase. I'm leaning against you gently as the television plays gently something the both of us would love. The light soaking both of our bodies the shadows of us becoming one as they blanket the floor, my hand held with yours, my sweet turtledove. My cheek against yours, both our eyes closed as my eyelash is traced against the side of your face. In our near slumber, we can only be drunk on the sheer warmth of our embrace. A soft rain starts outside, as the pane streaks down little stars all around us, the TV shutting off. Silence. We feel each other's breathing fondly, as slowly, I whisper into your ear, subconsciously... "I love you." You are dead asleep, but you smile regardless.

Our Hearts In Autumn
The robin sings its golden hymn, the turtledove its coo. While 'neath the spring of wet and damp does life return anew. The grass turns green, the snow to rain. The trees bow to the sun. As leaves sprout from their mighty boughs where dewdrops drip and run. Oh, how the old forgotten rot, the sting of winter's wrath, all melts away and heals in heat as deer soon shed their racks. A world rebirth so fondly sought lest snows return again. We seek the flower of new spring, sweet solace such to send.

Spring
A note. Just a letter I wish I could have written it better Maybe even told you myself But I'll leave it on your shelf: Anticipation Delayed gratification Impatience For elation In all my years and all my desires Everything I've striven for Groped, struggled and tried So excited I couldn't sleep Could think of naught else For days, weeks, obsessed With the fruits of success The reward nearly grasped Barely out of reach Ultimately empty, each one Mostly disappointments, even when won Culmination of cultivated fires Disappointments, liars But those blissful nine months And the years before, hopeful When I could speak of naught And I concentrated my thought With momma, bless her light Before she gave up the fight For you, my darling For you, my darling Couldn't have prepared Never even compared With you, my darling With you, my darling Of all the realized prizes In arbitrary sizes The worthless committals Then I saw you, so little... Only you, my tiny girl My angel, my pride Have truly changed my world Without you I've died Sun moon and stars are a drop in the bucket Next to the picture of you I keep in a locket Only you, Ella my love My precious, most important, Sweet turtledove P.S. Sealed in an envelope Hide it in her hope chest And when the time comes Once she lays me to rest I've written on the outside "To Ella, with love forever, Open once daddy has died."

Do not open until...
Every moment surrendering to the most high guide-dance. What do you need of me? How may I serve? Breathing life into this body vessel every action, every word, every breath attached to the love of your divinity. The songs to you ring on into infinity as trees stretch below and above, Your love coos as the turtledove. All of creation sings of your praises. Wahe! Your grace every amazes. Guru teach me the way of the devotee. I bow on my knees I am here to please I give thanks to you and every blessing. Living in eternal bliss from Your divine kiss. Your breath is the wind in my hair. Great Stallion I am your mare. Create through me the joy of Your life: allow all beings to be free from strife. Singing to me as birds in a tree, You are the One who matters to me. I align my self with the frequency of Your vibrations. May Your Love echo forth across all nations. Sat Nam
