Tears shining like precious pearls, from the corner of your oyster eyes, trickle in transparent torrents into the sea of sadness and drown in the turbulence of the wailing whirlpool… Like jewels, so bright saline stars stream down from the sky of your face to perform dance of the dire distress salsa of sad solitude ballet of broken heart waltz of weeping emotions tango of tearful longing… From the dark veil of clouds like melting snowflakes, crystal drops roll down your cheeks, to unfathomable depths of your heavy heart… Simple release of sentiments from overflowing well of eyes shed silent tears of agony, streaming down, trails of shattered dreams leave traces of hurt and pain… Lifting your sad face, with a touch of warmth and love I wipe your fragile tears. You smile - and they reincarnate as beautiful tears of happiness… Copyright 2011 © Bharat B. Trivedi

Reincarnation of Tears
Once, when morning was knocking on the dusky doors of night I heard dawn whispering sweet nothings in your diamond-studded ear as you slept on the satin sheets of silky slumber, my heart broke into myriad fragments of dilapidated dreams… On a sun-kissed seashore, while you swayed in a swinging hammock I saw the zany zephyr caressing your lustrous locks, my heart broke like a collapsed sand-castle and scattered into several spiral shells on the salty shore… As we walked hand in hand, the sky turned grey and we heard thunder! While rushing for a roof, I saw the flirtatious drops of rain kissing your coral lips, my heart broke into streaming tears and merged with the muddy waters on the boulevard… Yesterday – in the middle of the night I woke up and found moon fast asleep beside you on your feathery pillow, and my heart broke into scores of shooting stars and vanished in the extensive expanse of the cosmos… Copyright©2010 ~ Bharat B. Heartbroken
A little nod to Walter Everette Hawkins Ask me why I love you, dear, And I would ask the sparrow If it matters! That he ..he stutters Love is a forbidden nectar, And so we are like flowers; and bloom only, when the sun, kisses us.” ― sir kristian goldmund aumann, Don’t ask me if I still love you I wouldn’t ask you my heartbeat, If being downright violated isn't too much for me Ask me why I love you, one more time And I will ask the debt collectors for more time Or I will ask my brain, not to confuse me mind, body, soul and spirit (my Trivedi effects) Then it wouldn’t be any need for us to get upset If I get the right answers I will smile with you again, Ask me why I can't trust my heart with you Let the other one reply. She knows you better than I do, When the **** hits the fan Where the heart is pure And if we can’t find the answers We shall depart only the inner voice gives me freedom
