"transcended" poems
Just a dew drop, let alone the sea, and a handful of earth, not the Planet Ge. Not a shade of blue, save the rose for bee Purely a clear drop didn’t spill in the core, because the whole sphere feels the pinch. Singing chorus rains down, bouncing back to earth the only open-through planet. No black hole is as deep as the sun jumps, dives in the dew on every flower they wet. Every bird in the trees sings and tweets, yet one is stone quiet, shouldn’t even hiss. Shh! shh, the sleeping beauty is sleeping! Cut above the rest, the unique earth brimming with the infinite finishing line by design pans out to the transcended pi. Pure spring, the waterfront by the Moon, untouched, unspoiled is her swimming pool. How she goes by, wetting her ****** toe Only to bubble high up the transcended circle If only the sun could rise high in that pole, for the rest of species could sneak a peek. She’s there with the capstone of the pyramid! Shots beyond the fixed circle, netting the eyeballs. The stars, the Moon on the move for pure freedom. The thrilled earth did come out, smelling of roses Off the golden cut pi-decimal-abyss digital spring. With a handful of earth and a drop of water dew This is a pure mirroring thanks to the original, you! At the end of the string apt you lovely took her by hand and she took it in emptying her heart and soul. Earth is now too thin on stock, she is no more Just a shadow, a 360-degree hollow flute! Oh light at the end of the tunnel shine and show Play in like in the Night of Ascension once more!

dear girl, i would like to apologize on behalf of those that will never. the world lied to you since you were old enough to balance a book to listen, retain, consume without question i would like to apologize on behalf of those that informed you your value is calculated by the sum of your parts that you are worth the contrast of fat deposits over the angles of fragile bones i would like to apologize on behalf of those pining characters they wrote you, every soul with a haunting disposition who was given the noble ambition to invoke longing within those that remain on the outside of the glass because the songs that were sung on the radio cast you as the the inspiration but when they painted you lips for love they denied you the language of narration and you lived your life thinking you could invoke magic if you were only willing to wait your entire life for someone else to conjure it i am sorry that we filled your head with empty adjectives to whisper in your ear that you were nothing unless validated by the eyes of strangers seeing you as nothing more than a commodity for which to window shop and consume and when they abandoned their casual browsing their wants transcended your right to exist and it was you they chose to invade to tear open because after all, you were man made a nail scratching a rib a void to fill up with whatever poison they thought you’d look sexier choking on dear girl, i would like to apologize on behalf of the fact that you remain unnamed, an improper noun a caricature, a statistic, a silhouette on the back window mouth a perfect oh that will never know words i am sorry that the second you entered the world with two X’s they would reduce you to an exquisite tragedy, place them over your eyes and declare that the death of a beautiful woman is the most poetic thing in the world i would like to apologize because this world was never quite big enough to hold you and we knew and we saw and we opened our mouths, took a breath, and we closed them

We had come to see him, the aging Tenor sing. He was as good as he had always been. But half way through, a woman appeared, Moving gracefully in bare feet upon the stage. Entering the ring of bright spot light near him. Long blond hair, falling loose around her neck, Held back both sides by Turtle Shell combs, Reflecting the light. Adorned in but a simple, low cut black dress, Her with a face beautiful as a new spring day. Held in her left hand an ebony hued violin, Touched fondly, like a well accustomed old friend. Her right hand holding a bow, ready and waiting. The Tenor’s and her eyes met and conveyed a message Only they understood.  Then starting slow and low, The full Orchestra commenced. The woman in black Brought instrument up to her chin, lovingly resting her face upon it, as if comforted by it's touch to skin. The fetching violinist, like a graceful reed, In summer breeze, began to gently sway, Laid Bow to strings and a transcended beauty, The voice of both her Instrument and from within she, Emerged through her fingers, completely filling the hall. With eyes closed, the slight movements of expression On her face registering the feelings the musical notes made, As if those gestures too, guided the bow's musical cords. Slender precise fingers lovingly caressing the strings. For nearly a minute, she and her violin played alone. Her actions of body, hands and head in concert, To her music, unavoidably hypnotic it could be said. The Tenor started to sing, and yet my eyes stayed Locked on her, as if no one else in the room was there. The blond woman in the black dress owned the stage. I have no idea how long that piece of music lasted, I could not attest to what contribution the Tenor made. Fully my attention and eventually my heart belonged To that lovely, evocative young woman in the backless, Little black dress. It’s true that I may never see or hear her play again, I know not, even her name. And yet, I’m sure that I will never forget those Few minutes mesmerized by her magical spell. Hopelessly caught in her enchanting web. With me sitting, third row, isle seat left, Worshiping as I did, at her so pretty, Slightly ***** naked feet, the striking Blond woman in the black dress.

When his eyes first fell upon her She was choosing avocados In the fruit and vegetable aisle. And he watched how her thumbs lingered On the base of the alligator pear And pressed, maternally. He feigned interest in the cabbages Whilst sensing her delicate architecture Through his peripheral gaze. He thought that somewhere, In real or imaginary life, They would soon bathe together. And when they did, They soaked for years in secrets, Details suffusing through their lips and arms, Water-hole satisfaction and moonlit deserts To make them feel they might have transcended cabbages And be pervading a rhapsodic realm They forgot their friends watching in greenery, Subsumed by each-other, They felt no need To live in a world of relativity and apples. Their love-traced sphere tightened around them, Until it ****** at the edges of their skin And wailed when they parted. Tighter it grew, elastic dug into their humid thighs Contorting their once harmonic bodies That used to fit like crosswords. And they each became ugly to the other As the seconds ingested their perfection And they bickered like flailing urchins In a deep sea soiled darkness. Decisions were made and paroxysms detonated And they were taken back by their Fungal friends with tissue offerings And ethanol. Time passed, and memories were binned Periodically on tuesdays Until neither knew the other And they would pass in the supermarket With no more than a quickened gait And a silent thud in each ribcage. But neither could buy avocados.

There's a certain condition known as losing connection involving people, places and things of strong affection. The phenomenon is marked by one or two parting to separate ways and a feeling of disconnection is experienced highlighting the days. Where the people concerned, in the past, were once close together, are all now, due to a lack of communication, more apart than ever. Once good friends, close relatives, associates and even lovers have all fallen victim to the malady of estrangement as others. We should never underestimate the effect of the passage of time especially when augmented with distance that determines clime. In this case the distance between the minds and hearts of all those who have so drifted apart from each other no longer holding the same view. It may also be a case where people have outgrown or transcended themselves and do not identify any more with what was once regarded as familiar delves. The vicissitudes of life can also be a major cause and often very decisive factor where on the stage of this world one assumes or takes the role of a different actor. Who knows to what degree a situation can change or influence the course of events and leaves those alienated, that were once close together, now with different intents. Another very obvious aspect is the physical departure because of death of all those who, in this life, virtually shared the same space and breath. It has also been written that, the soul of a person gone, sometimes tries to revive or contact those whom it had most connection with while it was physically alive. The same can be said of some of those who are still in their earthly ****** form and cannot cope without the assurance or connection that before was the norm. __________________________________

I Tomorrow waits in the dried plant bones splintering balcony karma next to the ****** galatic twilight. Moon poems paralyzing yonder one color chess matches on transcended leather --thigh laughter buried alive in rubble under fifteen cushions of red flesh. Let's go wave our bottom banners undying in the realm of lifetimes and its spontaneous chases. Plethora inhales from one-legged warlords under fragrant wash pillars obstructing the pilgrimage of wrapping my stranger around a blade. The second blameless pantheon of Christianity. II put down the flowers, thought scars from a thirsty delusion that taste the industry instruction deep in meditation spoons that pierce the sides of students. Heaven rains/*angelic ************ on the obscure sail drifting towards the horizon --a mad-religious shape from the bottom banners undying III there isn't even the smallest incense that the earth's door shortens, an attempt in debt to defame the impregnable summer with washroom axes on the grape's night before you and I snap.

Consistently inconsistent, Sometimes still and at times turbulent. In ruins, is this cosmic connection, All this drama- a mere fiction. All that is, is and is my making, A higher truth , I thought I was seeking. An epiphany, and I transcended, Into a realization, that it ended. Long-long ago, its time eclipsed, Dreaming away, real time, I’d missed. Like the highs and lows of an ocean, You’ve always been, an unrest emotion. Determined, is the way to be, This Drama - no-more, can I see. Through the tyranny of my mind, I have been trying to escape, blind. I see you now, for what you’ve been, An absent figure - washed clean . So fade away, my love, Fade away, into an abyss. Fragments that are left of you, Take them all , old and new.

queer creature of white stone: the spirit of the island in the head of this lion, the soul of the natives in the body of this fish, spirit and soul, lion and fish, mingle together by mere wry humour of evolution’s word we revere this beast, (it watches over us from nine metres above), we bow down our backs, (worship it as our exemplar): for many of us, unknowingly, we emulate the spirit and soul of this queer white creation of stone. standing tall (unshaken!) even as jaundice bolts of heaven’s creep tip-toed behind its scales and strike: its cemented steadfastness of stone we emulate, for through the towering grey waves of crisis, and the threatening dark clouds that foretell our very fears, we too, have floated and transcended and appeared unscathed. mutated monster – child of bad genes, they despise such unfavourable antagonistic features (shall it rule like a lion or flail like a fish?): its unlikeliness of surviving, of thriving we emulate: for this dotted smudge of red pen ink on the globe, destined to bow down to fate – bowed down not, and flourished. beams of white water spouting out in a perfect shape of a quadrant’s circumference, endlessly, its majestic spewing action we emulate: this island of expectations, sterile smell of success, fate of our future in the setting of an exam hall, (in there do you not think we resemble the merlion, our mouths the hoses, the papers our well?) but, oh, the merlion – so many of it – the merlions, same-maned, same-scaled, fluttering and bursting with imitation across our home: such congruity, conformity we emulate: for years of yearning to swim in the mainstream waters, of being goldfish, instead of losing the waters for flight like flying fish, have made us very much, about the same. queer creature of white stone: do you see not how we resemble your very self, how we offer you praise (by lifting our human arms, arching on our mere knees, hoisting our lowly mortal heads, surveying your colossal royalty, camera in hand)?

I'm having an affair with words They take away my breath Words tell me what I need to hear Without missing a step Words work on my emotions I'm transcended by their displays There's legitimate anticipation Within each and every page When I look away for too long There is a longing that takes place The wonder of conclusion Vanished, without a trace Words help me to liberate my own ideas In the subtlest of ways Or when my faith seems in doubt I am enlightened by a phrase Their sense of humor is unequaled Words teach us and inform They can be as cold as ice Or soothing, kind, and warm. Words hold many of life's answers To questions that we seek When written, we can convey Much more than when we speak Words empower, words are strong They help decipher right from wrong Words can guide you, Lead you home Words are your friends When you're alone Words can help, or they can harm you Depending on their use Words can fool you, or misguide you, Lie, or tell the truth What I love, are words' transparency Written right there in black and white If misconstrued, words can lead to tragedy Although the stories' plot is trite We must take part in the mastery Of each and every words avail So that the notions we wish to ration out Are nothing but... The finest of detail. Precision personified Never at a loss for words Or ****** with a mouth for war That's when devastation's heard Instead, a calming smoothness Inspiration from inside This, in my opinion, is the greatest use of words And the peak of humanities pride.

Bodhidharma, the first Zen patriarch, told Emperor Wu that merit meant nothing; but great emptiness revealed by sitting facing a wall had great merit. Wu was perplexed. Patriarch number two, Hui-k’o, faced a granite wall in a forest for seven years; it became his beloved. Seng-Tsan, the third Zen patriarch wrote poems and his legendary Hsinhsinming verse transcended all the unnecessary duality in the mind’s mire. Tao-Hsin, patriarch number four, said don’t’ stare at a wall, just do the laundry and watch the clear water turn brown then pour it onto the vegetables in the garden when you’re done. Patriarch five, Hung-Jen meditated from age six staring at the horizon and said if you find the line between sky and land and sea you slip into infinity with no sky, land and sea just one place for the mind to finally rest. Hui-Neng came next; no wall no laundry water no heavenly horizon just fascinating monkey mind sometimes full, sometimes empty running whichever way, whenever, and that was all good. The 300-year Tang dynasty had three wild man patriarchs- Ma-Tzu shouted constantly; Pai-Ching did laundry, and Huang-Po told everyone they were already enlightened and should not bother with Zen at all. Lin-Chi was the Jesus of Zen who loved everybody everyday. He taught the heart’s clear natural action, compassion, not walls and laundry and trying not to think. His love was wiser than his mind. The patriarchs of zen taught more than a thousand years before I grew up an American idiot in a materialistic world populated by narcissistic borderline freaks thumbing smartphones in leather car seats never doing laundry afraid to face the walls built of brick made mortared tight together with the fear of their own compassionlessness.

Gravity come back Or leave me suspended Masks and mirrors Images defaced Replace the smile under the sun I want star light Transcended Or just leave it somewhere Aside Reflection has gone away Just don't vanish While there's still tension Don't pull it back Stay If only until the morning light My apathy

Apathy?
Random gestures of love Random gestures of kindness That light up my day Like that one time You said that you loved me For no particular reason Unrelated to anything happening At that moment. My heart filled with warmth And a smile found its way To my pale, usually dull face. I looked up and said that I loved you as well, And true happiness bloomed In my fragile heart After weeks of drought After weeks of emptiness. And my smile was so bright And I felt so warm You could have mistaken me For the sun itself. And we, sun and moon, Were the only ones that mattered, For earth could not affect us. But then the incident never repeated And instead of love I got glares and silence And your happiness continued To feed on my own As your hands continued to take Every last bit of pleasure I had to offer. And as every sun sets, I sank in the sea of blue and grey As I transcended into the mundane routine Of being lonely when with you For your arms do not wrap me with warmth But only Anger. The sun and the moon Live afar. They complete one another Yet they do not meet And when they do All light drains from the sun An eclipse.

My dear, do you want to know why this stream shall never cease to flow why this countenance shall know no smile why in vain you realease torent of bile for eternity shall my face tarry behind the sun and ever shall be till this ugly scenario run cut off from every string joint to my mind to recall no more that gruesome day Limbeh turned a cadavar awaiting decay how my heart tremble while my tongue relates the incident that turned an early widow late the night before, cried a owl across at nightfall grandpa beheld and discerned the mysterious call tapped he my shoulder and opened his phangs look beyond the pregnant night in labour pangs waiting to birth a child as mysterious as the cry Ekumbo! May i live not to witness that melancholic night(he sighed) a thing unheard of in Aweh beyond countless centuries worth plunging a kingdom into an endless misery frightened, departed me with my ribs to my cradle to fall holdin his words to await he upon whom the lot shall fall so as the pregnant night did flipped departed then this poor widow to her field to gather bread for her fatherless kids then in agony their lips they bit as their eyes rained in torrent and their sobs grew even fervent when the fatal tiding was unleashed a thing which feared hearts and andrenaline released how she bent beneath a dry iroko gathering yam in her distant and lonely farm a branch uphigh cracked turned she to see the source of the crack behold a log fell on her skull pouring out what was left of her brain- all keeling rightward, she fell as her spirit transcended a plane beyond a place so gray, so blund now poor orphans, as poppies to be shared departed they to various kins to be rared and daily this dirge about her goes as villagers their drum beat and lyre blow forget not the story of the unfortunate widow who for the door, took the window and drank not from the spring of old age nor for her maternal labour achieved a wage

I was a tiny fragment of darkness, struggling to find my way in the light. I was evolving, and metamorphozing every minute. My particles broke up into smaller particles and soon I was to become a mere speck of nothing, in this universe of light. I couldn’t find my way. I was lost. It concealed me in a shadow of pain. I could feel as it consumed me bit by bit. Pain, I didn’t know what it was, except that it left me in distress and ice cold tears. The light seemed to fade. The pain disappeared, and the mere speck of nothing that I was transcended into the darkness where I really belong. (lunarlullubies)

The crystal was perfectly aligned. It exposed an image of the day I left seamlessly. But it also echoed the future, the design of tomorrow. I wouldn’t follow my wildest dreams, but I couldn’t say the misuse was improbable. To the next phase in my elegant maneuver, I gather the strength from my abysmal insides. Wide open were the gates of hell. I withheld. Then continued, as the outline of forever, forever guided me.   Time was traveled. And as passing eras bettered my intellectual design, I redefined the reality of Sir Hawkins. Time travel. So true. My speed was increasing, as was my very corpus. *And as it did, so I transcended.* Amended  such as our legitimate antiquity of the dickity desire. The feeling of an outwordly choir singing you to sleep while injecting you with futuristic methyl-amphetamines. I dreamt of better things, but too late. For I've descended into tomorrow, and the decisions of the borrowed souls will cease to follow.

holyman
Lo! I lament. Fallen is the sixfold Star: Slain is Asar. O twinned with me in the womb of Night! O son of my bowels to the Lord of Light! O man of mine that hast covered me From the shame of my virginity! Where art thou? Is it not Apep thy brother, The snake in my womb that am thy mother, That hath slain thee by violence girt with guile, And scattered thy limbs on the Nile? Lo! I lament. I have forged a whirling Star: I seek Asar. O Nepti, sister! Arise in the dusk From thy chamber of mystery and musk! Come with me, though weary the way, To bring back his life to the rended clay! See! are not these the hands that wove Delight, and these the arms that strove With me? And these the feet, the thighs That were lovely in mine eyes? Lo! IO lament. I gather in my car Thine head, Asar. And this -is this not the trunk he rended? But -oh! oh! oh! -the task transcended, Where is the holy idol that stood For the god of thy queen's beatitude? Here is the tent -but where is the pole? Here is the body -but where is the soul? Nepti, sister, the work is undone For lack of the needed One! Lo! I lament. There is no god so far As mine Asar! There is no hope, none, in the corpse, in the tomb. But these -what are these that war in my womb? There is vengeance and triumph at last of Maat In Ra-Hoor-Khut and in Hoor-pa-Kraat! Twins they shall rise; being twins they are one, The Lord of the Sword and the Son of the Sun! Silence, coeval colleague of the Voice, The plumes of Amoun -rejoice! Lo! I rejoice. I heal the sanguine scar Of slain Asar. I was the Past, Nature the Mother. He was the Present, Man my brother. Look to the Future, the Child -oh paean The Child that is crowned in the Lion-Aeon! The sea-dawns surge an billow and break Beneath the scourge of the Star and the Snake. To my lord I have borne in my womb deep-vaulted This babe for ever exalted.

Thanks thespis for another muse anew, Filliping my soul with the spirit of a song, To chant for the young world in these pepperish letters, before my callous eyes on the skull of historical future on my pykitonic torso of I another African pykin, as I finish my coffin for the cadaver of poetry that the law of poetry is a distorting neurosis, neurotic abnormality its baseboard of time giving classical balance for wondrous poetry. Divine Serenade
There should be wings of a hundred birds to churn this scorch with breeze to dry sweat shade glare to soothe the ache of a post-noon day There should be varied and a thousand greens with all betweens of innumerable trees till the blue of sky blends their deference And the river heaves its way along ever on eternal mission of earth and... ...Heaven-- sure misses so much some days Cool remote Transcended as it be Replete with rains and relief of clouds The Angelus in the distance.... with its affluent affinity for air Revelers leave their party debris for those making sure not a sign is left.... We sort and fold, collapse and pack Somehow between chairs, tables cans and bottles, assorted trash They come-- crouch on the levee wander and stare aimless amid tall dry weeds Inhabit a bench, a moment-- Wild filtering through our fabrication Wind to dissipate our purpose Trees invading abandoned fields “The poor you have with you always” “I'm not drunk,” she drunkenly proclaims to no one except maybe…. Leaning over her opened beer seated on bench adorably painted with joyful hands Who fondly held or hoped for her? Before.... days of dirt troweled a shadow in the sweat between her ******* Filthy tank that barely covers derelict denial How they find themselves established as we make to leave WE, of our homes and cars and jobs and plans of escape They-- of always

"...With You Always"
Her feathered cloak was threaded with the gold of the sun To the queen, celestial bodies did bow She walks upon still reflections of a pale flaxen moon Emerald 12-point crown resting upon innocent brow So came the fire breathing scaled red dragon To devour the coming male child So the rotting script told Whose birth would be challenged by open battle Transcended from the legends of old The jade eyed dragon of a human’s dream   Burnt away innumerable points of light The creatures flames were all-consuming The weapons of his strength and might In fury and anger with bellowing sound Sharp claws dripping with evil Ripped through quivering walls of time Igniting shimmering waves of reality Reflected off the emerald crown The dragon’s breath laced with smoke and poison Alas would avail him naught Defeated, disgraced and overcome Spread dark wings and from the queen took flight The screaming male child born with mercies hand to rule Paused his breath to hear Gods cry Ascended to the throne of he who created the world Forever in the golden house to stand at his side.
