Supposedly too much television will rot your brain away
BUT... you can 't believe what everyone may say

CINDERELLA taught us that eventually things will get better
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS told us over & over he's READY! he's READY!
THE TORTOISE taught us that being quick may not always work
KAYNE WEST taught us people are rude, interrupting, annoying & huge jerks
MR KRABS taught us some people are money hungry & greedy
LINDSAY LOHAN taught us some people are attention needy
DORA THE EXPLORER taught us to live our life as an adventure & go explore
SWIPER taught us to always go for more
SQUIDWARD taught us not everyone has happiness to share
PATRICK STAR taught us that some people's heads are filled with air
PLANKTON taught us that you can never give up on reaching your goal
ALICE's curiosity taught us don't chase white rabbits with pocket watches down their hole
PETER PAN taught us to live carefree & have no worries at all
HORTON taught us that a person is a person no matter how small
THE LORAX taught us to take care of our trees
SNOW WHITE taught us that there maybe more than what the eye sees
TOMMY PICKLES taught us sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do
THE GRINCH taught us that deep down inside, the cruel have hearts too
NEMO'S DAD MARLIN taught us you can't protect people from all & or any danger
BARNEY taught us not to talk to a stranger
TIMONE & PUMBA taught us "HAKUNA MATATA"
LILO & STITCH taught us no one gets left behind or forgotten, that is "OHANA"
SOUTH PARK taught us not to give a **** & some friends can be a huge ****** BAG
JUSTIN BIEBER taught us what isn't "SWAG"
STEWIE taught us that even if you're talking not everyone is listening

DOROTHY taught us is you want to go home just click your heels three times & repeat "THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME"
SOUTH PARK'S TWEAK taught us that your underwear get stolen by the underwear gnomes
So much we've unknowingly managed to obtain
secretly stored in our brain
celebrities, songs, shows & even cartoons have taught us a lot
& that's what life lessons are all about
little hidden lessons & messages everywhere
& completely unaware you pass it on & share

purple,
violent with love
so deep beyond sight
but silver calm serene as well--
the flicker-mood incarnate,
a swiper styled at the center crux of being
that better me,
likes to hide all foxy
in giggle fits of cosmic nothing else but play
--amethyst beams
and silhouetted sundust whirls
of pain dispersed and lethe wards agleam

Swiper no swiping..... I replay these words in my head daily. It's an iconic phrase for my little sister.I love hearing the sound of her voice, such happiness and light behind it. It gives me hope. I love how such simple words from silly cartoon can light up my day when it comes from my six year old sisters mouth. Her smile alone can pull me out of a hole of depression. She's a ray of sunshine shining in the pool of darkness I drown in called emotions. It's funny, at such a young age this little girl has become my hero. At only the age of six she has managed to turn my life around. I could be having the worst day ever and the thought of her puts a smile on my face. So if such a simple thing as a little girls words from her favorite cartoon can brighten up a teenage girl on the verge of suicide imagine what your words can do.

Chipping nails,
shards of hardened skin
and turquois on silver, her hand
attached to a paperback permeating of rotting corpses and wilted flowers among
washed up license plates scuffed by sea glass,
once a bottle of a failed enlightened and darkened drunk, I am sure of it.
You drool, salvia skulking your chin—
loose fingers drop the rain-soaked umbrella
and
I’m drenched in water, I sail down the street, on an arc brimmed with mammals
and arachnids; six of the spiders, two of the dog.
I spit out and profess the skin once clung to my lips, I see the layers,
out here, two dogs prance around the field, tripping over each other
as six spiders creep and crawl under us, slithering
one lands
on my sweater in the classroom,
I squish it dead,
with the heel of my hand. Usually, I’d scream.
Instead, I took the power to make something alive—something dead.
Fog-Horn Leg-Horn, “and then-and then, I say-I say” kills you,
wadding you beneath the cooped-up coop,
Swiper Swipes No More.

"Do you think peoples dreams come true?"
"Yes."
"Do you think that someone will ever not find that?"
"No. Only if they give up."
As a kid,
I didn't know how to dream.
Santa was my Uncle Raymond.
DJ Laid out the Easter eggs.
Mommy was the tooth fairy,
so if I was good, I'd get a few extra dollars.
I used big words like concentrating and forgiveness.
I didn't pretend my Dad would one day be there for me,
He wasn't.
He was an alcoholic.
My mom hated her body.
Bill abuses my aunt, and I have always known.
I did not know how to dream.
I had nightmares.
Swiper the fix trying to swipe me.
Peeing the bed.
People leaving and dying and chasing and falling.
I do not remember dreams.
Whimsy.
You are my miracle.
We're.
We're.
We're.
I learned how to dream when I held you.
When I saw that look in your eyes when you were dreaming..
I somehow learned how too..
It isnt what it is cracked up to be.
I do not like to dream.
Not now that you are gone.
I have to realize that I am logic.
I am a rock.
I am alone.
I am school work and planning and organizing and predictability.
I cannot be a dreamer.
That is why you leave.
Always will.
I learned to dream.
I will always have you to thank for that..
But I have to give that up now.
The shoe did not fit.
Dreams don't come true.
Dreams don't come true.
Dreams do not ever come true.
Logic does.
I learned to dream of us and love and trust and forever and Caleb and family and...
I give up on my dreams.

Every night I hope
I find my message in a bottle,
but really it's just to sext
this hex away. Monday
nights are lonely on
that hook-up culture,
Juvenile Tinder App--
Swiper no swiping, but
I'm still that little girl
cowering from the screen
where someone will definitely take
my soul valuables
But if these be masochistic flames
to my emotional Hell--
Rage on, commence the *******
parade, their drumbeat matching
my bleeding-heart
attitude transposed into cryptic Finsta
posts and 3am Snapchat stories.
You made me feel like Lana,
fervid and fated in
a ride or die façade which
crumbled to Taylor's fake femme
fatale "narrative." Ripping
off the wings of our swan song
doesn't make you Frank Sinatra, even
though you crooned a tune of Love and Marriage
in between my sheets; those were odes
to blanket you (not me).

Your constant search, are you not tired? Can't we just try. These little whisps of optimism will sure be my death, these little whisps of optimism, always come to an end. A screeching halt, a sudden turn. To the dark and for the worst.

The love of your
Life
Is just one swipe
