left my phone unlocked on the taxi’s back seat, won't be the last time called it a few times finally, the driver picked up he had a fare immediately after mine, and was now headed way downtown, and would call later when fate returned him nearer my office and so it came to pass, very shortly thereafter, we met on the street, he rolled down  the window and with the greatest smile of pleasure, as if he had won the lottery beaming, handed me my phone I had two $20's to cover any expense he might have incurred, neatly folded in my hand   and offered it right up, right away; but the driver repeatedly pushed my hand away as I insisted, saying: *"No sir, no no, not necessary! Allah sent me a fare that took me soon back close to you, so,   no loss of time did I suffer, so your offer is kindly unnecessary!"* to which I replied, *"exactly! Allah sent you to me so I could reward you!"* and with an equally, beaming smile I continued, *"our ride and meeting today, together was pre-ordained it was* Inshallah!" ^ something he could not dispute... or my knowledge thereof and it’s proper pronouncement, nor his amazement, to disguise!   we parted ways    each believing,    each receiving, a heavenly check plus, each, credited with a mitzvah^^ on our respective trip logs, our humanly divine balance sheets, kept by the single supreme taxi dispatcher

As we vibe, I slip and slide into your in-slide and slide deep inside till our bodies coincide, as one, we ride the rising tide. As we vibe.. I show you a different side, of your insides, from me being inside. Our physical interaction guides the chemical reaction that touches your soul and blows your mind. Our bodies confide, in each ours confines, until we find, supreme satisfaction of a different kind...

The joyful heart is the buoyant heart— empowered to rise above its circumstances, unweighted, unburdened, unbound, tied only to that which would lift it higher, untethered from anything which would pull it down, pull it under or suffocate it. It's the free heart, quiet and at rest yet jubilant and uncontained, the celebrating heart, the praising heart, the thankful heart, the heart set on pilgrimage, bent on adventure, journey and romance. All the while it's a waiting heart because it's a yielded, led heart— a heart which doesn't run ahead of the LORD but willingly, quickly to the LORD— a heart that though eagerly anticipating each twisting turn, next horizon and changing path keeps its eyes fixed not on the scenery but forever on the Shepherd because it's a heart persuaded that He alone is the Great Reward for which it has always been looking. True joy is only ours when we find an endless source of satisfaction, and of these I know only One! The secret to all joy is to crave Him above all else. The joyful heart is the one addicted fully to Him, desperate for Him to the expense of all else, willing to sacrifice everything to have that craving satisfied. Joy and idols, I have learned, do not easily reside together in the same heart. So if I find that joy is chased away the most likely culprits are my own desires. What am I wanting more than Jesus? For if intimacy with Him is the supreme goal of my life then nothing can arise which I'm not enabled to bear with joy. There is, I suppose, nothing so reliable as suffering and loss to expose all of the hidden idols within me. It's surely those who have suffered the greatest and most frequent losses for Christ who are also most capable of knowing the deepest and most abiding joy. For it's when we've been stripped bare of everything else that we begin to know for certain that our joy is based not on the temporary blessings of our circumstances but only on the presence of the Eternal Blesser Himself. Sometimes He offers to us all that is in His right hand, but for any with eyes truly opened to see the most precious of times may be those when He offers to us only the intimacy of His right hand. Rivers of sadness can open up into wide gulfs of endless delight and are often the very courses needed to carry us there. When all is lost, we find to our amazement that, even so, we still have ALL and no one can rob us of it. When He takes everything from us He proves Himself to be EVERYTHING to us.

Masters of the Universe, tender me thy resignation, if but for a day, a millennia, no matter how measured, any being, you, purported supreme or otherwise, are tired in ways hard to comprehend *tender me thy responsibilities and dilemmas, have studied your resignations, solutions that provide no resolution...* I can do better. Why? not obligated by parenthood, rules of randomness superimposed, all I got is human kindness the eyesight that colors kindness, tolerates no injustice, milky white light, no longer recognize "there for the grace of God go you and I" have no name, but if you need one for me, call me <human>

Masters of the Universe...Tender Me Thy Resignation
In the orchard and rose garden I long to see your face. In the taste of Sweetness I long to kiss your lips. In the shadows of passion I long for your love. Oh! Supreme Lover! Let me leave aside my worries. The flowers are blooming with the exultation of your Spirit. By Allah! I long to escape the prison of my ego and lose myself in the mountains and the desert. These sad and lonely people tire me. I long to revel in the drunken frenzy of your love and feel the strength of Rustam in my hands. I’m sick of mortal kings. I long to see your light. With lamps in hand the sheiks and mullahs roam the dark alleys of these towns not finding what they seek. You are the Essence of the Essence, The intoxication of Love. I long to sing your praises but stand mute with the agony of wishing in my heart.

The Agony and Ecstasy
XXVII. TO ARTEMIS (22 lines) (ll. 1-20) I sing of Artemis, whose shafts are of gold, who cheers on the hounds, the pure maiden, shooter of stags, who delights in archery, own sister to Apollo with the golden sword. Over the shadowy hills and windy peaks she draws her golden bow, rejoicing in the chase, and sends out grievous shafts. The tops of the high mountains tremble and the tangled wood echoes awesomely with the outcry of beasts: earthquakes and the sea also where fishes shoal. But the goddess with a bold heart turns every way destroying the race of wild beasts: and when she is satisfied and has cheered her heart, this huntress who delights in arrows slackens her supple bow and goes to the great house of her dear brother Phoebus Apollo, to the rich land of Delphi, there to order the lovely dance of the Muses and Graces. There she hangs up her curved bow and her arrows, and heads and leads the dances, gracefully arrayed, while all they utter their heavenly voice, singing how neat-ankled Leto bare children supreme among the immortals both in thought and in deed. (ll. 21-22) Hail to you, children of Zeus and rich-haired Leto! And now I will remember you and another song also.

The Homeric Hymns: 27- To Artemis
In passing with my mind on nothing in the world but the right of way I enjoy on the road by virtue of the law— I saw an elderly man who smiled and looked away to the north past a house— a woman in blue who was laughing and leaning forward to look up into the man’s half averted face and a boy of eight who was looking at the middle of the man’s belly at a watchchain— The supreme importance of this nameless spectacle sped me by them without a word— Why bother where I went? for I went spinning on the four wheels of my car along the wet road until I saw a girl with one leg over the rail of a balcony

shades of Melanin. It was gifted to us from the supreme. It all started from that gift which is only inherited from us; That we gave the world an enchanting and seductive formula. From creamy vanilla to lustful ebony. A rainbow of, melanin. We are the light and the dark here on mother earth. We glisten in the sun and glow in the moonlight. We are the reign of earth and the creators of life. Thanking the heavens for the shades of melanin.

Shades Of Melanin
Go on with haste and fly through this undawning memory of love, What is the moon looking up at, perhaps a dance of pulsar stars ? What is the sun looking down at, perhaps the life growing from light? An eternal sinner wanders under their light, with no aim, no goal, All he carries shall be the pride in his heart, with undying love burning as bright as a hyper nova in the nearby young nightsky, Lingering sadness seeps it's way through, to the surface of the moon, forever to be bound in an orbit, overshadowed, shining in lesser light, Yet does it oversee, what beauty it brings to the night, or what it would be if darkness reigned supreme without it and the stars to rise? Enlighting the darkest of nights for us, forgotten it keeps up his duty, For maybe, even if just one is touched by his luminosity it would be enough to keep going, until the time comes to greet the break of dawn The milkyway alike a river of stars, each with their own story to tell, Stars stand with their secret hidden, an orbital parent to many planets The sky is the eternity in a land of pure fantasy and hope after all, A dream which knows no death till its termination draws near, But isn't waking up the commencement of something far greater ? ~ Umi

Lunar Tear
Time is supreme, erases all with it's flow.. Upgrade yourself, time doesn't get slow.. It's like see-saw, sometimes high sometimes low.. The flowers, the thorns you reap are the seeds you sow.. If experience is bow, then hardwork is it's arrow.. Expand your vision, and your comfort very narrow.. If success comes, don't let your ego grow.. If you lose, don't let your passion bow... Fear escapes when the lamps of faith glow.. Lust dies when the winds of struggle blow.. Your journey is a noisy brook, learn to row.. Make your own script, life is a messy show..

Time: fundamental as well as ultimate...
The supreme good is like water, which nourishes all things without trying to. It is content with the low places that people disdain. Thus it is like the Tao. In dwelling, live close to the ground. In thinking, keep to the simple. In conflict, be fair and generous. In governing, don't try to control. In work, do what you enjoy. In family life, be completely present. When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you. _ "Lao Tzu is believed to have been a Chinese philosopher (a person who seeks to answer questions about humans and their place in the universe) and the accepted author of the Tao te ching, the main text of Taoist thought. He is considered the father of Chinese Taoism (a philosophy that advocates living a simple life). You are my dear, decadent desert, My summer-thyme delight; Starlight. Tonight’s your night, for you I write. Radiant glow, fuzzed herbal hue. My dear butterscotch icecream. Sore arms churn thick, slick froth - Sauterne butter. Gentle spread melts, dowsed in sweet, sugared innocence, rich scents, then sits. 6 years pass quickly, youthhood gone; My black swan, a third complete. You, sauterne butter, mix with scotch - Fermented, demented, invented to inebriate. Golden brew dissociates reality - Spinny, fuzzy, dizzy, funny… gone. Go on again, dear fawn, 6 years pass, Pant for the water, two-thirds complete. 12 years as toll to adolescence; Icy, creamy, dreamy, element prepared. Scoops of soft serve mix with years past - Angsty era. Seductive spirits, beautiful brew. At last, my summer-thyme delight dances with rhyme. The lime-light shines; ten and eight. Todays the date, stuff immaturity away. Make room for the adulthoods’ good, Scooped generously into a bowl Shuttled and entrapped by me, Melting, streaming, gleaming and freezing. You awesome angel! My pleasure supreme - My dear butterscotch icecream.

zelle ma belle (zelle is an interbank system for sending cash in an instant to someone else’s bank account) sent her an unexpected $250, at 4:00am, of course, a check-plus for her life, because she revel reviews her day at school, as special person day, teaches them well, and anointed, appointed unsolicited confirmation by them “as part of our family” how they crave her body, her touch, at scary movie parts, her kitchens diner size menu, her refusal to ever disappoint, her candy drawer supreme, her crayon color visions which they execute, her zen sense of their moods, and for me, for calling them without hesitation my grandchildren indeed more here hers than mine she asks me why the $$ and poet doesn’t lie but thinks quick at 7:30 am while bed prone, “you won Nana of the Day award” the only (grandparent) on the floor with two kids in her lap, for the magic show, all the rest, benched, chattingly adultry things she thinks on it and says “ok, I accept!” p.s. also,  I have yet to inform her of the (my) elimination of a crystal champagne flute while doing my manly cleanup  from Friday night lights dinner pink champagne celebrating   le weekend’s arrival olp

*To every soul who offered me joy, Comforting and cajoling, To you, I am grateful. To every soul who taught me hurt, Gifting me lessons of woe, To you, I am grateful. To every soul who loved me, Your love is my beacon, I have discovered you in that warmth, I have beheld you in that luminescence, To you, I am grateful. To every soul who abandoned me, You have nudged me on Nearer and surer, to my grand source. To you, I am grateful. Whether I may realize, Whether I may trust, I have found the supreme Radiance In this universe Just as simply as I opened my eyes. To you, I am grateful.*

The Vampire is the
Most supreme demon.
 The Vampire takes life
 Through an invited kiss,
And feels its victim
 Slip into the night,
 Terrified, collapsing,
 As the demon experiences bliss.

*Supreme Love, Through a land of barren fields, leads to a nourishing tree, that rhythms in the wind like a heart of bleeding green. There, you will find me, prostrating in its lingering boughs, gazing into your sky with smiles of Eros. A nightgown of innocence awaits you in the lotus, falling amongst the constellations of my parallel.* ©Copyright 2007 Written and Edited by Racquel Davis

Spirit's Epistle
The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is what the law demands but then the law is based upon the truth by which it issues its own commands. The truth is based upon Reality where there can't be any idea of falsehood, Reality is in fact the Absolute or Supreme Being that is really all Godhood. ___________________________________________

The way Hope builds his House
O all the spirits of love that wander by Along the love-sown fallowfield of sleep My lady lies apparent; and the deep Calls to the deep; and no man sees but I. The bliss so long afar, at length so nigh, Rests there attained. Methinks proud Love must weep When Fate’s control doth from his harvest reap The sacred hour for which the years did sigh. First touched, the hand now warm around my neck Taught memory long to mock desire: and lo! Across my breast the abandoned hair doth flow, Where one shorn tress long stirred the longing ache: And next the heart that trembled for its sake Lies the queen-heart in sovereign overthrow.

Supreme Surrender
Speech after long silence; it is right, All other lovers being estranged or dead, Unfriendly lamplight hid under its shade, The curtains drawn upon unfriendly night, That we descant and yet again descant Upon the supreme theme of Art and Song: ****** decrepitude is wisdom; young We loved each other and were ignorant.

After Long Silence
Down like an anchor, Vision is shrinking as your eardrums burst through the grusome pressure, increasing the deeper you go in the deep, blue, merciless sea A match unwinnable, a fight to the finish, to ones very last breath, Tackled something so much greater, it has pulled back, after capsizing we made the decision when it came to swim or sink, that we drown, Swallowed by the ocean,  these great unfathomable depths, taken away our last breath of fresh, salty, stinging, yet very pleasant flavour Our blanket is a billow, a stormy night which caused this tragedy, Darkness under darkness, where light upon light once ruled supreme Until our bodies have been taken apart, by this greedy sea and its desire to take us in, make us a part of it's glorious wide spread self, Never to see the glassy surface once more, or will we be ship ghosts? All lies and all sin, all dreams and all majesty, are swept away by swelling waves of the expanse someone may call the pacific ocean, All ego and all deception, all freedom and all light is lost in its dephts But we quietly, gently rest with pride in our hearts. ~ Umi

I want to live in a world where I can be proud of my body And not fear that I’m a 12, not a 2 and accept myself. I want to live in a world where men are valued on television And women are not always supreme in their tiny dresses. I want to live in a world where I do not have to fear for my saftey And not have to tell a friend I’m going for a walk. I want to live in a world where I can walk home alone at night And not have every creak, every thud set me on edge. I want to live in a world where gender equality is real And is not split through medial portrayal and unsafe reality.

I Want to Live in a World
Go hang yourself, you old M.D.! You shall not sneer at me. Pick up your hat and stethoscope, Go wash your mouth with laundry soap; I contemplate a joy exquisite I'm not paying you for your visit. I did not call you to be told My malady is a common cold. By pounding brow and swollen lip; By fever's hot and scaly grip; By those two red redundant eyes That weep like woeful April skies; By racking snuffle, snort, and sniff; By handkerchief after handkerchief; This cold you wave away as naught Is the damnedest cold man ever caught! Give ear, you scientific fossil! Here is the genuine Cold Colossal; The Cold of which researchers dream, The Perfect Cold, the Cold Supreme. This honored system humbly holds The Super-cold to end all colds; The Cold Crusading for Democracy; The Führer of the Streptococcracy. Bacilli swarm within my portals Such as were ne'er conceived by mortals, But bred by scientists wise and hoary In some Olympic laboratory; Bacteria as large as mice, With feet of fire and heads of ice Who never interrupt for slumber Their stamping elephantine rumba. A common cold, gadzooks, forsooth! Ah, yes. And Lincoln was jostled by Booth; Don Juan was a budding gallant, And Shakespeare's plays show signs of talent; The Arctic winter is fairly coolish, And your diagnosis is fairly foolish. Oh what a derision history holds For the man who belittled the Cold of Colds!
