While my sad Muse the darkest Covert Sought,
To give a loose to Melancholy Thought;
Opprest, and sighing with the Heavy Weight
Of an Unhappy dear Lov'd Monarch's Fate;
A lone retreat, on Thames's Brink she found,
With Murmering Osiers fring'd, and bending Willows Crown'd,
Thro' the thick Shade cou'd dart no Chearful Ray,
Nature dwelt here as in disdain of Day:
Content, and Pleas'd with Nobler Solitude,
No Wood-Gods, Fawns, nor Loves did here Intrude,

Nor Nests for wanton Birds, the Glade allows;
Scarce the soft Winds were heard amongst the Boughs.
While thus She lay resolv'd to tune no more
Her fruitless Songs on Brittains Faithless Shore,
All on a suddain thro' the Woods there Rung,
Loud Sounds of Joy that Jo Peans Sung.
Maria! Blest Maria! was the Theam,
Great Brittains happy Genius, and her Queen.

The River Nimphs their Crystal Courts forsake,
Curl their Blew Locks, and Shelly Trumpets take:

And the surprising News along the Shore,
In raptur'd Songs the wondring Virgins bore;
Whilst Mourning Eccho now forgot her Sighs,
And sung the new taught Anthem to the Skyes.
All things in Nature, a New Face put on,
Thames with Harmonious Purlings glides along,
And tells her Ravisht Banks, she lately bore
A Prize more great than all her hidden Store,
Or all the Sun it self e're saw before.

The brooding Spring, her Fragrant Bloom sent out,

Scattering her early Perfumes round about;
No longer waits the Lasie teeming Hours,
But e're her time produc'd her Oderous Flowers;
Maria's Eyes Anticipate the May,
And Life inspir'd beyond the God of Day.
The Muses all upon this Theam Divine,
Tun'd their best Lays, the Muses all, but mine,
Sullen with Stubborn Loyalty she lay,
And saw the World its eager Homage pay,
While Heav'n and Earth on the new Scene lookt gay.

But Oh! What Human Fortitude can be
Sufficient to Resist a Deity?
Even our Allegiance here, too feebly pleads,
The Change in so Divine a Form perswades;
Maria with the Sun has equal Force,
No Opposition stops her Glorious Course,
Her pointed Beams thro' all a passage find,
And fix their Rays Triumphant in the Mind.
And now I wish'd among the Crouds to Adore,
And constant wishing did increase my Power;

From every thought a New-born Reason came
Which fortifyed by bright Maria's Fame,
Inspir'd My Genious with new Life and Flame,
And thou, Great Lord, of all my Vows, permit
My Muse who never fail'd Obedience yet,
To pay her Tribute at Marias Feet,
Maria so Divine a part of You,
Let me be Just -- but Just with Honour too.

Resolv'd, She join'd her Chorus with the Throng,
And to the listning Groves Marias Vertues Sung;

Maria all Inchanting, Gay, and Young,
All Hail Illustrious Daughter of a King,
Shining without, and Glorious all within,
VVhose Eyes beyond your scantier Power give Laws,
Command the VVord, and justifie the Cause;
Nor to secure your Empire needs more Arms
Than your resistless, and all Conquering Charms;
Minerva Thus alone, Old Troy Sustain'd,
Whilst her Blest Image with three Gods remain'd;
But Oh! your Form and Manner to relate,

The Envying Fair as soon may Imitate,
'Tis all Engaging Sweet, 'tis all Surprising Great;
A thousand Beauties Triumph in your Air,
Like those of soft Young Loves your Smiles appear,
And to th'Ungarded Hearts, as dangerous are:
All Natures Charms are open'd in your Face,
You Look, you Talk, with more than Human Grace;

All that is Wit, all that is Eloquence.
The Births of finest Thought and Noblest Sense,
Easie and Natural from your Language break,

And 'tis Eternal Musick when you speak;
Thro' all no formal Nicety is seen,
But Free and Generous your Majestick Meen,
In every Motion, every Part a Queen;
All that is Great and Lovely in the ***,
Heav'n did in this One Glorious Wonder fix,
Apellis thus to dress the Queen of Love,
Rob'd the whole Race, a Goddess to improve.
Yet if with Sighs we View that Lovely Face,
And all the Lines of your great Father's Trace,

Your Vertues should forgive, while we adore
That Face that Awes, and Charms our Hearts the more;
But if the Monarch in your Looks we find,
Behold him yet more glorious in your Mind;
'Tis there His God-like Attributes we see.
A Gratious Sweetness, Affability,
A Tender Mercy and True Piety;
And Vertues even sufficient to Attone
For all the Ills the Ungrateful VVorld has done,
Where several Factions, several Intrests sway,
And that is still it'h Right who gains the Day;
How e're they differ, this they all must grant,
Your Form and Mind, no One Perfection want,
Without all Angel, and within all Saint.

The Murmering World till now divided lay,
Vainly debating whom they shou'd Obey,
Till You Great Cesar's Off-spring blest our Isle,
The differing Multitudes to Reconcile;
Thus Stiff-neckt Israel in defiance stood,
Till they beheld the Prophet of their God;

Who from the Mount with dazling brightness came,
And Eyes all shining with Celestial Flame;
Whose Awful Looks, dispel'd each Rebel Thought,
And to a Just Compliance, the wilde Nations brought.

GEGYLDEN HRINCG GEWILLE!
This composition of mine, or rather brief saga, mainly in archaic Scottish alongside Anglo-Saxon, Classical Latin and Old Norse, focuses on my own philosophical notion of will (“gewill” in Anglo-Saxon). The scene takes place during and after the Battle of Carham in about 1017 A.D. A giant steel mass emanates from the bloodshed as a sheer historical act, and then towers as the Person of the Overman itself, staring at the sun and holding a shield, thus signifying an ultimate embodiment of will, both in individual (as experienced by the narrator) and then collective (historical) terms. A physical-metaphysical Energy under a historical garb is accordingly involved, as well as thus a Hegelian influence. Other central philosophical notions of mine appear, like the Return of Power event, an overcoming, in terms of essence of recurrence, of the classical Eternal Return, visually evoked at the end as forming within the sky one of the "Three Globes of Fire" ("THRIE SKYE-GLOBES O’ SKYE-FYRE"). "ĒACEN DÆGSCIELD" (Anglo-Saxon) reads "The Mighty Shield of the Day (Sun)" and "ÞYRSUM HEAÐUWÆD" "The Battle Blood of the Demons". The word "WIGSIGOR-GESIHÐNES" (Anglo-Saxon) is a kenning, as it is "War-Mask" for "helmet" and "Scyld-Horror" for "close combat".
Christmass is come and every hearth
Makes room to give him welcome now
Een want will dry its tears in mirth
And crown him wi a holly bough
Tho tramping neath a winters sky
Oer snow track paths and ryhmey stiles
The huswife sets her spining bye
And bids him welcome wi her smiles
Each house is swept the day before
And windows stuck wi evergreens
The snow is beesomd from the door
And comfort crowns the cottage scenes
Gilt holly wi its thorny ******
And yew and box wi berrys small
These deck the unusd candlesticks
And pictures hanging by the wall

Neighbours resume their anual cheer
Wishing wi smiles and spirits high
Clad christmass and a happy year
To every morning passer bye
Milk maids their christmass journeys go
Accompanyd wi favourd swain
And childern pace the crumping snow
To taste their grannys cake again

Hung wi the ivys veining bough
The ash trees round the cottage farm
Are often stript of branches now
The cotters christmass hearth to warm
He swings and twists his hazel band
And lops them off wi sharpend hook
And oft brings ivy in his hand
To decorate the chimney nook

Old winter whipes his ides bye
And warms his fingers till he smiles
Where cottage hearths are blazing high
And labour resteth from his toils
Wi merry mirth beguiling care
Old customs keeping wi the day
Friends meet their christmass cheer to share
And pass it in a harmless way

Old customs O I love the sound
However simple they may be
What ere wi time has sanction found
Is welcome and is dear to me
Pride grows above simplicity
And spurns it from her haughty mind
And soon the poets song will be
The only refuge they can find

The shepherd now no more afraid
Since custom doth the chance bestow
Starts up to kiss the giggling maid
Beneath the branch of mizzletoe
That neath each cottage beam is seen
Wi pearl-like-berrys shining gay
The shadow still of what hath been
Which fashion yearly fades away

And singers too a merry throng
At early morn wi simple skill
Yet imitate the angels song
And chant their christmass ditty still
And mid the storm that dies and swells
By fits-in humings softly steals
The music of the village bells
Ringing round their merry peals

And when its past a merry crew
Bedeckt in masks and ribbons gay
The ‘Morrice danse’ their sports renew
And act their winter evening play
The clown-turnd-kings for penny praise
Storm wi the actors strut and swell
And harlequin a laugh to raise
Wears his **** back and tinkling bell

And oft for pence and spicy ale
Wi winter nosgays pind before
The wassail singer tells her tale
And drawls her christmass carrols oer
The prentice boy wi ruddy face
And ryhme bepowderd dancing locks
From door to door wi happy pace
Runs round to claim his ‘christmass box’

The block behind the fire is put
To sanction customs old desires
And many a ******* bands are cut
For the old farmers christmass fires
Where loud tongd gladness joins the throng
And winter meets the warmth of may
Feeling by times the heat too strong
And rubs his shins and draws away

While snows the window panes bedim
The fire curls up a sunny charm
Where creaming oer the pitchers rim
The flowering ale is set to warm
Mirth full of joy as summer bees
Sits there its pleasures to impart
While childern tween their parents knees
Sing scraps of carrols oer by heart

And some to view the winter weathers
Climb up the window seat wi glee
Likening the snow to falling feathers
In fancys infant ******
Laughing wi superstitious love
Oer visions wild that youth supplyes
Of people pulling geese above
And keeping christmass in the skyes

As tho the homstead trees were drest
In lieu of snow wi dancing leaves
As. tho the sundryd martins nest
Instead of ides hung the eaves
The childern hail the happy day
As if the snow was april grass
And pleasd as neath the warmth of may
Sport oer the water froze to glass

Thou day of happy sound and mirth
That long wi childish memory stays
How blest around the cottage hearth
I met thee in my boyish days
Harping wi raptures dreaming joys
On presents that thy coming found
The welcome sight of little toys
The christmass gifts of comers round

‘The wooden horse wi arching head
Drawn upon wheels around the room
The gilded coach of ginger bread
And many colord sugar plumb
Gilt coverd books for pictures sought
Or storys childhood loves to tell
Wi many a urgent promise bought
To get tomorrows lesson well

And many a thing a minutes sport
Left broken on the sanded floor
When we woud leave our play and court
Our parents promises for more
Tho manhood bids such raptures dye
And throws such toys away as vain
Yet memory loves to turn her eye
And talk such pleasures oer again

Around the glowing hearth at night
The harmless laugh and winter tale
Goes round-while parting friends delight
To toast each other oer their ale
The cotter oft wi quiet zeal
Will musing oer his bible lean
While in the dark the lovers steal
To kiss and toy behind the screen

The yule cake dotted thick wi plumbs
Is on each supper table found
And cats look up for falling crumbs
Which greedy childern litter round
And huswifes sage stuffd seasond chine
Long hung in chimney nook to drye
And boiling eldern berry wine
To drink the christmass eves ‘good bye’

There is a balance between science and intuition;
only the myths of priests can disturb that account,
can sadly arrest the bloom of human consciousness.
As we look deeply with telescopes into the cosmos

or inward to the radio-waves of cranial thought,
the No Smoking sign of religion holds humanity back.
There is no Paradise Lost, only that not yet attained.
Silencers muffle, as if the skyes were empty,

the mind subordinate to some Proper Name.
If we are to Live, we must go there.  Out where
the nebulae birth new stars, in there,
where the id recklessly whispers, Good-Bye.

starre-lit skye
herr sylvan voyce
in songe
is softlye raised
for alle lyfes
forsaken hoppe
for hoppe within despaire

when beyonde alle dreams
an' shattered realmze
faire maidens voyce
is hearde...

...her tears
falle softly
into these ebon depths
their sylvar lyghte
reflect within
the darkness of mine-selfe
whereupon
i must responde
for lyfe
for love
for alle mine owne
lostte soulze

reachinge out within
these darkeste depthes
beyonde alle hoppes dezyre
her gentle touche
at once perceived
redemption
in this hour....

then fromme
the darke-mere's
surface rose
ten thousande soulze
once lostte
black swordze uphelde
in armoured fists
'pon steedes of ebon-lyghte

in silence watched
wi' somber awe
beside the roilinge mere
faire maiden broughte
unto herr feete
fell knights
before herr
kneeled...

in silente rayze
of dawninge lyghte
herr slyvan voyce 'tis raised
black swordze
on sylvarre shieldes
do crashe
in honor of herr daye

within ten thousand
sylvarre helmze
losste voices
lift in songe
to winne the lyghte
of dawne's laste daye
'pon the battlegrounde...

Chapter 4

Thru Deepeste Nyghte

theye ryde to warre
'pon sylvarre steedse
armour gleaminge
wi' sunnes' lasste raye

charginge fulle
'gainste nyghtes darke-lords
to wynne the lyghte
of dawnes bryghte raye

an' warre doth rage
thru deepeste nyghte
cross battle-fieldes
of bloode
foule daemons falle
'fore their myghte;
true heartes,
to meete the sunne

an' who woulde lyffe
musste see the dawne
an' feele the kisse
of sunne's bryghte raye...

for Kristi Raye

i created chapter 1 & 3 to tie them all together -
perhaps i should not have...
u tell me
God entered into my Window a few moments ago
I gazed him: He came with a God expression
Of -  let the pain go!...
And I, could not resist his vow...

Since I´ve not insisted he smiled and I
Like invaded by such force reunited into the One.

So I energized in this haven of Light.

My hands were pressured gently
And felt like I was poured throughout the skyes!
What feelings of eternity arose,
What sense of hope in my heart!!

He left with an expression of God
Of - Just believe!...
And I, just did.

Winter. What a beautiful part of the year. The times you look out the window and see how beautifully snow falls. When the whole ground is beneath the white bedsheet. Snow covers ***** cities full of sinners. Snow hides flaws, our most dreadful nooks and corners.
Winter is the best time to fall in love like you have never. Ever. When everything seems so cold instead of your lover's heart that can warm you. When everyone seems so cold but in your lover's arms everything gets better somehow.
Nothing could be better than keep warm under a white blanket with someone. Or look upon skyes with nothern lights and dimly lightening stars breathing in the deapth of cold space but shine to warm others eyes.
There is nothing better than just soundessly listen to nature, your heartbeating and have a way somewhither.
Nothing can be better than fall in love with you...

her
Her eyes
Her voice
Her smile
Her laugh
Her talk
Her walk
Her hair
How her eyes sparkle in the light
How her smile outshines the sun
How her hair blows in the wind
How she sounds like an angel when she sings
She's a fallen angel
Her wings spread over the skyes when she flies
Her voice is so calm and sweet
She's sweet like candy
She sasy
She's amazing
She's perfectly flawed
I'm in love with her
There are two main ways to hold a knife;
One point up, and one point down.
Now, in a knife fight, the prize is your life;
Not just avoiding some slit in your gown.

So you've got to get it right, this is a fight;
But which is the better way?
Well, perhaps it would shed some light
If we see what the treatises say.

Now, they seem quite clear;
They prefer by far the downward, or ice-pick grip;
True, the other way they don't exactly bar,
But they never show us that flip.

It's of the rondel that they seek to teach us;
It's thin and stabby and long.
But, what sort of techniques have failed to reach us?
Perhaps the choice of the rondel is wrong?

Now I learnt my knife fighting with a knife like this;
It's shorter and fatter and cut-y.
An attacker with this [the rondel] is just *******
Against me with this; he's surely putty!

I learnt through re-enactment and kung fu,
Not late medieval sources,
And I know that complacency will never do,
So I took some HEMA courses.

I went along with an open mind,
And took a wooden thing like this (for safety's sake).
I tried out their moves to see what I could find,
And, boy, the next day I didn't half ache.

I found that my first suspicion proved true:
The ice-pick grip limits your angles.
There really is just one thing you can do,
and I'd like more options when my life dangles
by a thread, I'm this close to death,
I can feel my heart's heartbeat drumming;
This could be my last pain-free breath.
With just one opening move, he'll see it coming!

It's a good stab, I'll grant you:
It's hard and downward and deadly,
But one stab is many too few.
Now, you hold it this way, you've got a medley!

Try this: hold it 'ice-pick' on the outward side;
You get to here and you're weak, and in pain.
A half-decent force here [the wrist] applied,
And down you go, unlikely to rise again.

It's feeble, and slow, and so easy to block;
An attack from here just spells doom.
I mean, look: you've near enough got me in an arm-lock
And you're not even in the same room!

Now, the treatises do show some attacks
That drop low, and come up like so;
But try that, and I'll be relaxed;
A big move like that is so slow.

You offer your elbow like this to a foe,
One push exposes your back and your head.
So I know you're not going to land that blow;
Before that: forget it, you're dead.

Now, almost everything starts from here [the stab];
So after the block, what next?
Well, assuming you can overcome your fear,
You could try what it says in the text.

Typically you start by grabbing the blade;
It's long, so it serves well as a lever;
Its length acts as a disarming aid;
And it's thin, so it's not much of a cleaver.

But it's often, at least, just a little bit sharp;
So, oh! Mightn't you cut your finger?
Well, the alternative is you start playing the harp,
So just grab it, this is no time to linger.

Now, I'll choose something shorter and sharper,
And I'll grip it my way, and we'll see who's the harper!
And while you go in for some big twist,
I'll slash you - it's quicker - and put a **** in your wrist.

I'll cut through your tendons, under your arm,
And turn your limb into so much slack rope.
I have faith in the speed I do harm.
You dope, to pin on ice-pick grip your hope.

There are other ways, as shown by the likes of Fairbairn Skyes
To stab and slash in a hundred strikes!

So come our dagger duel, I'll hold it my way.
You hold it yours, and we'll see who carries the day

Having taken pause to reflect...
Maybe I wouldn't.
Because that's just what you'd expect.

Melanie Skyes says it all
what I've always known and see daily
she said
Sadly in all realms of life, most, not all,
but most men are pretty basic and disappointing
they say I ain't got no friends
what have I in common with wet, dregs and dross
semi-illiterates, wide-boys, chancers, criminals and liars
wasters, empty-barrels, psychotics, neurotics and racists
yes, the basics and the disappointing
inadequate and moronic who hide in gangs
their only source and fountain of relevance
cheap tuppenny shameless bullies

what man worth his salt engages in a campaign of bullying
what confident adequate man envies other men
too stupid to know nobody is perfect
you just get out there and give your best
take pride in the sweat of your brow
not robbing and burgling and blaming some elite
yes life is unfair and birth is a lottery
opportunities does not come from aping Stalin
and screaming solidarity and revolution
while the Chinese send their kids to Oxford
from the proceeds of the chicken fried rice you hungrily devour
and the Asians become Chancellor of the Exchequer
from a corner shop in Balham, the son of a bus-driver

Some left home at seventeen
worked and toiled morning noon and night
to make good enough for you to come borrow and steal
show me the silver spoon that got grades and passed exams
show me the silver spoon that worked hard without taking nowt from welfare
only for dross, wasters, thieves and barbarians
to come maddened with mobsters looking to extort
yes, those basics and disappointing scumbags
riddled with racists angst and ignorance
envious beyond belief seek to down grade and destroy
because equality in neon light is hate and divisiveness
and bullying those who see things differently
from the basic and the disappointing carcasses
who scream for the revolution of pigs
yeah...basic and disappointing, the pigs who call themselves men
'these men are so limited and basic. I wonder how they get laid' They get laid because there are girls who want two babies to get free housing and regular welfare checks for the next sixteen years. love has nothing to do with it. Laying is easy for our basic and disappointing as easy as bullying and destroying those who work hard for what they want. So please understand why their revolution is a fight to the finish against one man......
