The simplicity of complex The pattern of disorder As the thin line between love and hate Between reality and dream Are vulnerable, corruptible The free will is a dream The absence of submission is a dream A dream of spontaneity of a rational mind Conformity seen as a synonym of happiness Nonconformity seen as a synonym of craziness These paradoxes of synonyms and antonyms, Of simplicity and complexity, Of dream and reality, Makes life seem to be already written, As if reality were just a story With all this characters not living, but acting According to rules implanted. WE LIVE IN A CAGE WHERE DREAM IS THE ONLY ESCAPE. The advertising of sensationalism Or might I say: A distraction of the cage, A seduction for conformity, A beam of war and poverty to keep us blind, Drunken of sorrows of others And to thank the Lord for what we have. These are some of the bars of the cage Bars to be broken with science and art and knowledge Or as some may say: with craziness.

CAGE
I never was occupied with the essence of patriotism The altruism of the conscription of the young, to later express gratitude for their service, for their heroism The sensationalism of singing of the anthems, and the so-called 'civil defence' But really, it's all merely an excuse to justify unwarranted offence It's a weapon wielded as a subterfuge for the ethical codes transgressed For capital, people become national and subsequently irrational Due to patriotism, all the decisions of the government are infallible And anyone who opposes said verdicts is radical To continue reading about patriotism, please subscribe it's only $120 per annum. MEMO FROM:  Mr Phil Indifrence,  Strategy Chess Insurgency  Corps. Space Headquarters, Castleview Avenue, Dunstable XY10 TO:  Ms Petal  Dontrun,  Crimson Chess Federation. De la Wigan Headquarters, Wigan, United Kingdom,  SM00 Dear Ms Dontrun, Please accept my greetings. I write to clarify my stance on our outstanding matters and hopefully to deter further speculation, gossips, rumours, distortions, misinformation and sensationalism by the media. As you are aware I contacted you on the day as arranged only to be confronted with a response that was astoundingly unethical, un- professional, rude, inconsiderate and totally uncalled-for. It was so below expected standard that it raised doubt about your suit- ability to be seen as a matured adult much less an intelligent being. Still in the reverberations of this seismic occurrence I called again in the hope it was a momentary loss of composure and yet again I was subjected to a deluxe version of the first onslaught. To say I was flabbergasted is putting things mildly, most especially as it was totally unwarranted and underserved. It was obvious you lacked any sense of decorum and had become an affront to common human decency and an embarrassment to your status. In all fairness you did call some weeks later, but it had become apparent that the ethos, protocol and cordiality that my Organi- sation works within may not be relevant to your Organisation, hence my unavailability to your contact. I write to primarily reiterate that my position on this matter and the present status quo is not based on some immature Ego play, stubbornness, power-play or pride, rather it's in all truthfulness it's a belief in upholding standards in ethical considerations. I do not believe that bad manners, ill-considered behaviour, ill-judgement and a lack of sensitivity and good grace are matured and progressive trends to interact cooperatively within. In conclusion, this is my stance on this matter and I hope it helps your understanding. I believe a formal Apology from you and your Organisation is appropriate in this regard and will instigate a return to cordiality between our Organisation. If you however feel this is unnecessary I will respect your decision and the situation will remain unresolved. I thank you for your attention. Regards, Phil Indifrence. C.E.O.

i'm just bored of having to feel what other people feel, limiting the realism of things, a woman with a child's  severed head in moscow is sensationalism to them, but when they get a mild reality, Kashmir chilly  on the palette, they make cheap Monty Python jokes to scare the facts away... the so-called satire that requires canned laughter; was given a library of 25 philosophy books, not one of them by an englishman, went as far back as the greeks, i guess the version of english egalitarian was not worth a communism, somehow the two synonyms became antonyms... 25 volumes of philosophy, not one english philosopher... the english intellectualise: i.e.: regurgitate facts.... the english do not philosophise, i.e. instead they cite facts... they're intellectuals by rite of citation, the citation of facts, they can't philosophise i.e. not cite (facts)... they intellectualise, they cite and recite facts with a dogmatism that fears a demolition and no rekindling of interest... to philosophise is to avoid citation: to work from nothing, the english cannot philosophise because they intellectualise and by intellectualism they cite and recite facts like an ave maria pi = 3.14... Galileo's spectacles... etc. the english cannot philosophise, they're just intellectuals, they cite and recite facts, they cannot engage from non-citation or non-recitation of a fact, like a greek might ignore a stone and fool himself claiming it's nothing, the english cannot allow a confiscation of a subject and treat it as nothing, it would not make sense as to why charles i was the precursor of the french aristocratic en masse meeting with the guillotine if darwinism wasn't discovered on the islands of Galapagos... although i beg to differ with a thought on Gauguin and the islands of Tahiti: make a turtle yawn and you'll jinx yourself a blessing to live to be one hundred years old.

Maybe it's just the first time doing ******* in order to expand my horizons; gain perspective in great company and knowing full well the moreish nature, as it has been purported, of such a vice; but, you know what they say: "When in Rome..." but lest ye forget; "Do or do not, there is no try" all the while still maintaining moderation, partially by habit and partially by force, for there is said to be no such thing as quality in that regard from whence I come. and thus, as if by providence, "When in Rome.." So, 'twixt that personally groundbreaking experience plus lots of Caffeine and Alcohol in some haphazard alchemical combination helped Reno to be a good-ass time on Halloween after playing a sweet-ass Rock Bar with some sweet-ass bands. And, to boot, having not slept, this morning was a rude non-awakening, as well as an ominous first day of November, what with the LAX shooting; our roadie and I watched it as it unfolded with repetitive loops of footage and dodgy claims with more qualifiers than actual substantial language; but the Media is just doing it's job as usual; play on sensationalism especially for ratings; okay if profitable. Needless to ******* say, it's been a crazy ******* day. Needless to ******* say, it may be a crazy ******* month.

Reno (When in Rome)
Tonight, at work, I asked 10 people if they knew of what had happened at Los Angeles International Airport (henceforth: LAX) not 30 hours earlier. Only 2 had heard of it. One, because a cousin was traveling that day and, the other, because a regular at his restaurant also had family who had left LAX just before it happened just in time to be stopped with the rest of the traffic for two and a half hours. I find that sort-of strange; information, even if misinformation spreads too quickly and ubiquitously now-a-days with our cell-phones, internet, satellite radio and media sensationalism for a mere 1 in 5 to have heard of this, and even then, only because of Family's accounts. Apparently, he acted alone, wearing military-like clothes and walked into LAX at about 9:20 AM PST on November 1 carrying a very cost-effective Military and Police AR-15 concealed in a bag with over a hundred spare .223 rounds and a note with words of sociopolitical dissent and an apparent intent to **** several Travel Security Agents. He mortally wounded a single TSA agent, after two shots and non-fatally wounded at least a few other people including two other TSA agents. This thorough chaos warranted sopping traffic, air and ground alike for over two hours, until his apprehension after being shot in the mouth and the leg by valiant officers of the LAXPD. Luckily, the Police had trained for "this exact situation not three weeks before" Wait, what was that? Oh, that's.. impeccable timing. Anyway. Few know about it and even less discuss it even a day and a half after it happened only 550 miles from here. I figured it'd be a bigger deal than this. What is up with this? It's rather srtange... quite queer indeed. The Suspect is in the hospital for his wounds and is now awaiting trial for ****** and Inciting Violence in an International Airport. Many people of Office cry out for the death penalty, even here in California, where we like to think we've "grown past that" The Travel Security Administration was established in the wake of 9/11 It is a branch of the Department of Defense. It took me much digging to find all this information on this event. Here it is for any who seeks it.

I try not to heed news that yells at me that everything is going to **** I do, however, read lots of news that leads me to the same conclusion. Though I do care how current events impact my fellow Humans, I wish to form my own genuine opinions based upon objective information; Is that really too much to ask? Seems like it. Objectivity in Journalism is a dying breed. Media doesn't like Objectivity anymore; not since the inhuman atrocities of the Vietnam war were so enthusiastically televised. Now it's all sensationalism and demagoguery and who **** X is ******* this week and that's how they want it; for, you see, we, the People of Earth, are far too dangerous with accurate information and a bit of vested interest in what happens upon this, our sole World our soul World

Milk for meat Hype for hope Lies for love Ashes for beauty And yet we all said "amen" Puppet master Thy humble puppets, enthralled ...and we have anointed you; To tell us ...   What we want to hear   What we want to read    What we want to watch You have execute thy duties; Tickling our ears to perfection, With feathers, dipped in ****** Our souls; numbed   our hearts; tangled in lies. The parade The confetti The Loyalist An ovation; To he who sits lonely, on his throne; Feeding our emotions, In your own emptiness. Hyped Doctrine
Media is disintegrating. Powerful Death Stars, Internet smashed into pieces of space junk, floating meaninglessly. Pale imitations of past glories. Instead, Blogs and sensationalism are bare distant relics of a once proud profession.

Once proud
You have a wife and four daughters and a colleague amongst your supporters mindset engineered: you answer a question with a question and indulge in light sensationalism My wife befriends many people - a natural star suddenly they're saying the same things that you are ideas are pinched, put to use, there's no excuse for queering my pitch - you stupid ***** No offence meant: I hold myself to account who am I to hold court, judgemental nonsense don't say anything, go sit yourself on the fence come back to me when you have pounds, shillings and pence Some commontators seem less than cool it's doubtful if they could explain the offside rule

INFLUENCE
Eyes wide open, mind tightly shut, we play victims to the postman slotting news and letters where little light filters through, only as he sees fit. Grotesque, gross manufacturers spewing out page after page after page of page three scandals - of rich brats waxing lyrical, American hip-hop DUIs, fat cats cat-fighting. Media breast-feeds her gullible men and milks the misfortunes. We are part of the orchestra - synchronised puppets looking to our Master to tell us how to read the notes. Outside there are flimsy flyers advertising freedom that have morphed into paper-planes, but are impenetrable of ignorant masses, flitting around the heads of the blind - like cartoon characters after being beaten up by fists. It is injustice. Peel the scales from your eyes and open the flood-gates, let forth the criticism! Ask why an American singer's ten minute jail sentence is more important than an Afghan girl's sentencing to be gang-raped. Ask who the ten percent of the South African population are that receive sixty percent of our gross national income and how to alter that socio-economic gap. Ask what is to become of learners who pass with thirty percent and if that is even possible when books aren't being delivered to schools. Ask where one can find manifestos instead of accusations from each political party. Do not let them dictate your truths as CAPITALISED LETTERS with no urgency. Do not let them confine your insight to the ink on a page. We are worth more than glossy sensationalism. We are worthy of urgent honesty, transparency and enlightenment - herein lies true freedom. The liberation of the mind. The uncoiling fist of a freedom fighter revealing the truth held within. Amandla awethu.

Permission to exhale the air Flashing Through clouds The sentence began sharpen his senses, An obvious desolation seeking the joy Of the night. An excavation of thoughts Hanging in the balance of her soul. Death is upon the guilty Close your eyes, bended your knees Plead for forgiveness Even when there is no tomorrow Borrow time lost in the wind. I saw the rainbow crying On a pedestal of rendition Seek a way out Punishment unveil the tears of A father losing his mind. A seldom blink of eyelid remind The coldness of the streets corners Sell your ambition to the highest biter A portrait capture by conciseness The sensationalism of love Derailed on the tracks of seduction The pollination of roses brought Ecstasy in the air. Fantasy of bodies intertwined with a ritual Underneath a dream See the stars, kiss In the waterfall love is much brighter. The muse of my existence Love shadow shine, fear. When I move the adrenaline Soars thought the roof Your life be tossed over the riff Broken and forsaken The sympathy of a secret Holding the stars for a ransom Moving closer as the Moon-tides A dark little eye… Rony Joseph all rights reserved 2010

The Man Inside The Flame
The senses, being irrelevant And often misleading, Have led me to answering questions, You've never bothered asking When "when" is not a timeframe So much, as it is a  Time of day, be it Morning over coffee, Or a digital dessert, I can't be Made to let go of the Gasps I grab for, upon your entrance Or exit, breath becomes trivial. You steal jealousy from My eyes, and quite a jealous Man can I be. Those same portals You fill up every day with Smoke and sensationalism, through which Stolen intentions, kept quiet, Are made mutineers Against their vigilant captains.  The how came from surrender.  Realizing you turn me against  Myself. And as the world falls Down around me I can't Get that awful sound of my Own hypocrisy, crashing down, out From the canals they've found to call home.  Below broken-hearted-bowls, And lying over the phone, and a Cancerous presence on the Stage of Socialites, you still look Perfect with a cigarette in your lips. *I've used "portals" before. To mean eyes. And cigarettes before. To mean freedom.  But you just smoke them... Don't you...?* There are those who marvel At the size of her, before taking in The expansive beauty the moon can speak.  Some are willing to court her, Others rip the hoop skirt off, And **** her 'til she bleeds.  Oddly, no one is ever jealous, Of the time others spend with her.  She's taken for granted, as The passed-around property Of the Uncultured Below.  But that's not why I'm sorry... ***Or don't you wonder... Don't you ever wonder? Who went wrong? What's correctly missing?*** It is in how I love, The ways not withstanding, And reason, remaining remiss, That I ask you to forgive me.  You are who you are Because I love you.  And I am who I am, Because you are.
