"schmaltz" poems
a Let enamor search me,
should I render?
b Anytime I might collapse,
tell me when
a My expectations should
not be hinder
b I can tell you someday
he will come then
c Love make tricks and
teaches us lessons
d Like life never lose us
hope to hold on
c Someday, he can search
me with great reasons
d And that reasons will
come anytime soon
e I should just listen to
schmaltz with heart
f Patience will prevail and
that I must wait
e It’s unpredictable like
playing dart
f But I know in my heart
he will be bait
g Just enjoy the flow,
waves are still tuning
g And I will join them
with heart rejoicing

Music.
It's within. Without.
We share it with everyone. We hide what it's about.
We protect our privacy. We let it all hang out.
We want it, oh how we want it all, it all defines us until we find the wall.
The wall! What a joke. We're all in on the farce. Just give us your music, we'll decide what is art. Just sell us your soul, we'll take it from here. Have another beer, we have plenty, my dear. You're valuable, oh yes, just keep your thumb on the pulse. Drink up and polish your gift of schmaltz.
But it's false. It's all false. It's the ******** waltz, our partner keeps face while we're falling apart, and then kicks us aside when we're behind in the race. We're falling apart, we're floating in space.
I want this to have a happy ending. If you ever hear one, its ******* worth defending. Keep me in mind. I've got music for spending. Together we've got the means for the mending.

As I often surmise
I don’t think it is wise
For me to criticize
What I know applies
Israel too has her faults
But we do somersaults
Or apply the schmaltz
Instead of smelling salts
They go through the roof
When we state the truth
Then back it with the proof
A martini needs vermouth!
Should we become myopic,
When Israel is the topic?
Or just be philanthropic?
They really need to stop it
A woman nevertheless
Elected to Congress
Is embroiled in a mess
Cuz she chose to attest
About the Benjamins
As in Franklin friends
Helps Israel reach her ends
See everybody bends
And what’s really pathetic
Is she’s labeled anti-Semitic
But that’s the usual rhetoric
From Zionist confederates
Who can see no wrong
If we just go along
Like Palestinians don’t belong
Long as Israel remains strong

How do you know what you know?
You know by stubbing your toe
Induction principle
Back to the future go
It’s epistemological
Is it all empirical?
Is it all observable?
I’m asking how
Atheist’s count
With numbers being abstractable
The induction rule
Is a Christian tool
By stubbing my toe
Against the bedpost
It comes into view
By stubbing your toe
Extrapolate, tow
The past is not material
In motion, or emotional
It’s not biological
Whose brains do we use
To arrive at truth?
No matter how hard you strive
Atheism’s a lie
Given an internal sleuth
We move from the toe that’s shod
To the toothpaste proof of God
Is insistence matter or motion?
This only causes commotion
To insist that you can live like a god
To persist that is false
It's to stumble instead of waltz
Yeah, there’s a dichotomy
And it’s a lobotomy
Reasoning becomes schmaltz
It’s tautological schism
An unreasonable prison
To assume atheism at all
Isn’t reasonable
He exists and that’s not fideism
Jesus the reason for reason
The fool only causes commotion
In everything you contemplate
Even Pyrrho and Descartes can’t help you escape
Because doubting isn’t matter or in motion
So don't assume like Hume
Or become a skeptic, that's hectic
So how do you know?
Thank God for me stubbing my toe
