Oi Modi you ****** yes Lalit, Unpleasant to taste on my pallet.  Arrogant and so brash.   You make threats with your cash, Your face should say 'Hi' to my mallet! But Modi is right I must say. The IPL in India should stay. They cannot just give in  To all terrorist's whim. Life has to go on, come what may. Lalit K has a tongue and a brain, Can he use both without causing such pain? He works best under stress,  Well here is a fine mess, Will he anger again, or refrain? Tendulkar did something today. Two hundred runs all in one day!   Majestic and cunning.   It simply was stunning. No bowler could stand in his way. How Sachin keeps on being humble, Is enough to make braver men crumble,   If Modi learned that,   He'd be less of a pratt, And my poetry jibes would then stumble. These two things that happened together, Were both better than English weather,   In the passing of time   One event will decline, The other, remembered forever.

Sachin Tendulkar vs Lalit Modi

Sachin's Laugh
He’s no God like Sachin, neither is ‘Wall’ his sobriquet He doesn’t whack them a mile like Sehwag or Ganguly. He just comes in with a resolve and soaks in the pressure Where others would succumb to panic, he thrives beautifully. When the team is sinking, his steely nerves bring them to shore He kisses the tension in the air away with his assuring presence. When the gods turn away, VVS emerges – serene and tough And clears up the mess with divine grace and elegance! When his bat swivels below his magical wrists, its pure bliss! The cherry caresses the grass and dances towards the fence. Like a stroke of an artist’s brush that just painted a perfect arc. And with his own people, the enemy’s admiration you can sense. He doesn’t evoke fear, excitement, anxiety or frustration He doesn’t pump his fists in the air, doesn’t snarl or stare. You either see the calmness or a bright smile on his face. He’s a stern fighter with no arrogance – a quality so rare! They say he’s ‘Very, Very Special’, which he indeed is. In the country of demigods he’s a man that makes god proud. He’s not worshipped by sponsors, doesn’t earn big bucks, But he owns a bigger treasure – Respect from all in the crowd. The Aussies ***** feared the world over, swear by his name, For, he crushes their strong might with his class and sublimity. Their killer-instinct turns into shivers when they see him walk out Their razor-sharp words get blunted by his poise and humility. VVS epitomizes romance. No wonder he loves the Eden Gardens! Where the ‘Lord’s’ of Indian Cricket reside, is his fortress. When he bats, you just surrender your senses to his splendour, The twirl of his hypnotic wrists can bust your biggest stress. The world seems a better place when you watch VVS on song. Even time stops to admire his delicate flick that goes fine. And as you lose yourself in his determined yet soft eyes, You find yourself sitting in heaven, enjoying a glass of wine! Selflessness is his middle name; there is no 'I' in the word 'Team,' The hardest job that no one wants, he will do for his team. I’m blessed to have experienced the beauty of VVS… The skill of his splendid batting and the purity of his beam!!!

this time, when i went to meet Death at his place, he showed signs of weakness. he was watching a cricket match relaxing in his arm chair, legs stretched. yawns kept rolling in slow progression towards the boundary. 'are you well?’ i ventured. 'nothing wrong,’ said he. stammering, i quizzed him: which one do you fear most? allopathy, ayurveda, or homeopathy? dear wilson, have you observed sachin facing the ***** of shane warne? brian lara, wasim akram? chris gail, brett lee? i was thrown into confusion. death admitted, unwillingly, that like vivian richards confronted narendra hirwani, he was laid low by the secret herb of an old tribal man! aaha! the panacea became then a spin ball! (aaha…Nothing official about it!) i forgot to ask how our people smuggled away by him were faring now. he forgot to comment “you will see for yourself when you face it.”

Another rendezvous with Death
Two arch rivals One game One match One god One king And that's Sachin and Dhoni!! And one victory!! Of course, rejoice!! But is that real?? Ask yourself after you're done with your celebrations!! Two arch rivals, Endless friction Sleepless borders, Thousands dead Thousands injured, Yet no clear solution!! Victory is not in a days match!! Victory lies in years fight!! Heroes are not those who hits boundaries!! Heroes are those who guard our boundaries!! Happiness lasts for a day in the game With a promise of peaceful future lies the fame!! Losing to the rivals is no shame!! Losing to the terrorists, who would take the blame?? Think And Reap a good thought today!!

Arch Rivals
Cricket fever gripped the sub-continent Pakistan could not wipe out the sentiment Against India it lost her match for the fifth time Even though Tendulkar was not at his prime This world cup turned out to be all Asian game The English have slowly lost their cricketing fame There will be a fight between the tiger and the lion Who knows who will surely win Sachin achieved every thing except the world cup I hope he will get it without any hiccup India and Srilanka reached finals thrice If India wins the cup I feel very nice

THE FIGHT BETWEEN THE TIGER AND THE LION?
in the annals of cricket those of greatness get a mention for what they've achieved on the wicket these men stand head and shoulder above the rest their contribution to the game has been written as the best three men have inspired younger players in their homelands they've accomplished much on wickets throughout the many cricket playing lands Steven Waugh(Australian Captain) the master strategist who had a captain's mind replete with brilliant tactics when he took to the pitch the opposition teams would quiver in their collective boots field placement   over deliveries the weather conditions all of these factors actuated in his mind so he could bring an innings of a notable kind Sachin Tendulkar (Indian Batsman) the king of the blade who none can equal in test matches his cuts and cover drives were worthy of an epic prequel his style with the bat twas magic to see he had a prowess of majesty Vivian Richard (West Indies All Rounder) he was never phased he held his nerve with the bat or the ball a tradesman who fielded what ever came at him and in his relaxed style chewed on a piece of gum and demolish the bails with a Caribbean hum cricket's hall of fame that 22 yard pitch where three greatest of the game performances   did of fans ever bewitch

Cricket Greats
1) God divides people, Sachin unites them 2) God does with people what he fancies, Sachin does with the bat what people love 3) God gives life, Sachin adds meaning to it 4) God answers prayers, Sachin comes as the answer to those prayers 5) God takes away what he gives, Sachin only gives, gives and gives 6) God doesn’t always give you what you want, Sachin gives you more than what you expect 7) God gives you death, Sachin teaches you how to live 8) God blesses you only if you’re good, Sachin’s benevolence is unconditional 9) God gives you troubles to teach you lessons, Sachin makes you forget your troubles 10) God puts you to test to reassert his supremacy, Sachin keeps passing every Test and still remains humble 11) God punishes people for their wrongdoings, Sachin takes it upon himself to rectify others’ mistakes 12) God's existence is an unsolved mystery, Sachin’s existence is beyond any doubt 13) God loves you only if you believe in him, Sachin’s genius and goodness compels you to love him 14) No one has seen God, No one will ever see another like Sachin!!!

14 reasons why Sachin is not my God!
there he goes , chanted as the legend , written on the pitches of the field . on grass or the dust , where it touched his forehead or his feet. on the hearts of the human, not the nation or the breed. riding cricket from too long , left his wooden armor, like singing moan in the peace...

Sachin Tendulkar
There are times When I wish I could be a child again Because, as far as adulthood is concerned There is a lot of pressure and expectations And many complications as well Work, relationships, time, money, health The list is endless Also, let us not forget That I am a divorcee And yearning for a second marriage Or at least, some kind of romantic relationship And at the same time I have to deal with work as well Anyway, I wish I could be a child again Because my childhood was awesome Lots of love From my family, cousins and relatives Playing cricket with one of my close cousins Going on train trips with family Having fun with schoolmates Including enacting the part of a Japanese anime princess!! Playing chess with my maternal grandfather Watching the golden era of Sachin Tendulkar Listening to AR Rahman classics Watching the best movies of Superstar Rajinikanth Playing tennis with my father During my second visit to Mumbai And best of all Having a life free of tension and worries Except of course, as far as studies were concerned!! Well, there were bad times too For instance, the bullying I faced Which forced me to leave a renown school In the span of just one week!! Nevertheless, on the whole My childhood is something to be cherished forever And reflecting back on it as an adult I am filled with a sense of nostalgia Being a Potterhead, I wish I could use a Time Turner And go back in time In order to revisit all those fond memories in person Yes, I am not ashamed to say That I wish I could be a child again

Failure hurts, no doubt Especially when you are in Recruitment A profession which depends on people As much as India used to depend on Sachin Tendulkar In the late nineties But you know what hurts more than failure? Imagine a T20 match Where your team has dominated From start to finish And still managed to end up on the losing side Due to a couple of bad ***** From your best bowler In the very last over Now, apply the same analogy to Recruitment You have put your heart and soul Into a particular mandate Done a thorough search, through various portals Called up as many candidates as possible Presented quality profiles to the client And lined up interviews one after the other Everything has been worked out To the tiniest detail However, at the eleventh hour The candidate backs out Thus, you have no choice But to start all over again And this happens not once Not twice Not even thrice But a frigging four times However, you are no ordinary recruiter You are a recruiter who possesses the heart of a lion Thus, you prepare yourself for the long haul Determined to do whatever it takes To close this mandate, once and for all And your efforts do pay off Or at least, they seem to For the client, it is a choice Between two worthy candidates However, as always, there is a hitch One of the candidates has started showing signs of cold feet While the other has to take a pay cut That too a big one This mandate now hangs on a knife-edge So, it is not failure that hurts the most But coming within an inch of success After months of hard work Only to have it slip through your fingers At the very last minute

When you have a important meeting to attend you get stuck in traffic jam... When your Director calls you to his office its always the time when you get a call from home that the baby is crying... When you have a sudden holiday next day, you get up in morning with migrane... When you have visitors coming over your fridge suddenly is all empty... When you have to make that one important call your mobile credit is suddenly low... When you have a friend waiting and you are already late You definetly will have a burst tyre... When you have a train to catch your work never finishes till you almost miss the train... When some guest come over as surprise that is the when you lazied to clean the house....its the dirtiest to the core... When you are fooling around on phone with a friend you miss that one important call... When you pack and fly off finally its then you realise the most important thing you needed is left behind... When you want India to win, Sachin is on the crease strong that very momen we loose a wicket and most often a match too... When Ghana wanted that golden penalty by the great Asomah Gyan he hit the goal post, lost the match, lost the hope as well... When you have a weekend planned the weather shining the mood swinging you get up in the morning to see its raining whole day and becomes messy..messing the whole feeling.. When you visit an uncle's place they praise you delicious ice-creams and cakes you decide to make some for them in good will and love your perfect cake burns, your soft ice-cream milk sticks to the pan, leaving the aroma behind in ice-cream, in the family's minds and also in ur name.. When you mess certain thing the people around you will always say they knew you will mess but they never warn before... Coincidences like these do happen too often, Strange soon they will be termed as superstition , Modern day women have modern day problems, Crisis factor are changing, Panic attacks are the same.. Handling them is modern women achievements and Tackling them is her trade mark, Todays women are good at multi-tasking, and situation like these makes them excellence at par...!!! Mom's, Wife's, Sis in law s, Sister's Daughter's, Daughter in law s, Friends.. have successfully moved ahead... Superstition dose'nt hamper their moving spirit, Challenge each day is mile-stone.. To achieve and move on...To another day...another mile-stone is the formula of perfect life.. is a formula for that perfect smile...!!! Sparkle in Wisdom 2009.
