As hardships intrude
and darkness knocks,
The door of the heart
The candle of hope
flickers to it's last
The Glee
Withers away
Optimism, pessimism?
As the mind questions
In haze
The agony,
agonizing
The darkness,
inevitable
Yet,
Reselience and prayers
Lightens the candle,
of hope
