"repudiated" poems
I read the book of Samuel I read the story of the Israelites Of how they rejected God “We want a king!” they demanded “We want to be like other nations” Rejecting God’s kingship. The same God who brought them up Out of the ******* of Pharaoh Out of slavery in Egypt The same God who gave them victories Over many nations and wars The same God who had fed them For forty years in the wilderness Same God who had proved Beyond reasonable doubt That He is the King of kings A Lord above all lords They chose to downgrade! I was swept away in a mind journey As I thought of how it must have felt To be rejected by your own children Repudiated by your beloved Disowned by the very people you love. My heart bled! The heartbreak was unimaginable The pain was excruciating As my mind pointed fingers of accusation I couldn’t find befitting words *“Foolish Israelites!” “Unrepentant idiots!” “Stubborn generation!”* And as my mind went awry Heaping insults on God’s people Raining accusations on them Judging an imperfect people as myself… His still small voice whispered ***“You are all the same” “You have done worse”*** Then it struck me Like a lightening of a million volts I am the Israelites I am the very people of God I am the same ones I condemn I have betrayed God repeatedly I have chosen sin above my maker My iniquities know no bounds I have trivialized His blood I have made a mess of the cross. *I am the “foolish Israelites!” I am the “unrepentant idiots!” I am the “stubborn generation!”* My heart melted into tears Shame covered me like a cloud My head was bowed in ignominy. Unable to speak or move I lay there, weeping at my wickedness No words were spoken But I felt His arms embrace me In acknowledgement of my repentance I never deserved it But He loved me nonetheless. I pointed one finger at them But three pointed back at me! © Raphael Uzor

Winter spring summer and fallbackwards in time I go A pattern of leave(s) Falling away As if summer never touched them And spring didn't water their roots. Winter was just a phase You knew that those rainy May days Were my version of love. It is never the right time for me So I will always see fall At the end of it all I go through withdrawal And still in the stall As the archer-man calls With an arrow and bow Flaming, he throws. Fire created Spring desecrated Summer repudiated Winter reinstated Fall and backwards, amalgamated.

Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux 1 That wicked liar offers us a poisoned cup In whose sheeny surface we see ourselves Reflected in his cold imaginings And not our own, in what we ought to be There is another Cup for us, not this one Just as there is a stone that must be moved A bird of night to be repudiated A thorny bush that burns, but not itself A blessing breaks that false and bitter cup - We share the one that God has lifted up 1 In English, let not the dragon be my guide; it appears on the medal of Saint Benedict as NDSMD.

I know
We've been betraying our children for generation after generation, government turned state education into indoctrination, media no longer speak the truth; experts in fabrication. How the **** am I supposed to show allegiance to my nation? Fascists masquerade as liberals to silence anyone who disagrees with their agenda, will the day never come when people wake up and realise this **** just can't go on? There can no longer be Right and Left, there's only right and wrong. Immigration, regulation, European legislation; fighting over **** while they indulge in self-congratulation, laughing in our faces while we're running the rat race. Working fifty hours a week to put food on our children's plates. Do you really think they give a **** about democracy? Do you think they care about the suffering of you and me? Do you really think that anything is what it claims to be? All you have to do is open up your eyes, it's plain to see. It's an illusion. It's all collusion. Make no mistake. Let there be no confusion. There's only one solution. This is my conclusion: We need a revolution! # When the tide begins to turn will you flee to higher ground? When the sky begins to burn will you lay your weapons down? Incarcerated in our own land yet we keep them on their thrones. Emancipation only comes by our own hand then together we'll atone. # Don't want to do this by the bullet, the blade or the bomb. If we use violence then we're giving them what they want. Any excuse for the use of firepower. Send in the troops whilst they regroup up in their high towers. They won't hesitate to slaughter us like animals, and so it's evident that we need a new kind of war. But if necessary we will still take it by force. This is a New World Order we're fighting for. Our greatest weapons are our minds and our eyes now. We need to read between the lines, see through the lies now. Draw the digital battle lines. We can rise now! Are you with me? Had enough? Do you despise how we're being asked to select our own dictators? But if we refuse to elect you, you ******* **** takers, and we can keep our resolve, with you repudiated, you shall not be absolved. No adjudicators! We're disillusioned with this intrusion. This is your fate. This will be your occlusion. Our world's reperfusion. Inevitable conclusion. Hail the Revolution! # When the tide begins to turn will you flee to higher ground? When the sky begins to burn will you lay your weapons down? Incarcerated in our own land. Yet we keep them on their thrones. Emancipation only comes by our own hand then together we'll atone. #

Sergeant Schultz Saw Everything This sad world needs another Sergeant Schultz That merry miles ponderosus who Carried his rifle like a walking stick And celebrated strudel instead of glory His innocent joy repudiated The burning-soul *********** of war In seeing nothing he saw everything Through ordinary men living in hope The liturgy of daily happiness - This sad world needs another Sergeant Schultz

Sergeant Schultz Saw Everything
I crave her warmth, However, her love was filled with thorns, my eyes sparkled when I saw her as if she were golden, only to find the blood in her veins was frozen, so close to her, I could hear her rapid heartbeat, I wish our love were more concrete, I wish I could stay with you one more night, And Make love to you as if it were destined for life, Hours would go on and we end up panting, Now those meticulous details have me stranding, Now I look back and I consider it my zenith, But people think of it as a blemish, My affection was myriad, And I desired a longer period, Whatever we had was venerable, Oh lord, I wish it were not ephemeral, And now I have been yearning to feel your skin, But you repudiated it by committing a sin.

Slaughtered, ripped to shreds. A reputation repudiated. Torn apart? A broken heart? In full flight, ditched the ***** In the realms of speculation. Plastered by the media, I fear. Immobile in hunting, the weather changed. The pieces perished submerge beneath those foreign seas. And the media state the pilot rode the line of suicide, without the evidence. Not found a body of truth, nor a box of tricks! (C)Livvi

The day he walked in that door was the day he was destined to die. He lay his foot inside the door and the other one concurrently came out. He transposed his clothes but they ceased to cover his body. The scarlet coat was left hanging in the closet with his soul. Indicted with crimes that he must not have been penalized for. And bashed by society with their spiteful words like arrows. Met his lover but was parted by the injudicious laws. Left skint and lacerated with the epithet of an outcast. Alien tears fill for him and outcasts pay their homages. No statue of air was this man yet hard labor was all he was given to build it out of stone. His teacher later delineated him as a blot on their tutorship. For he was but a tutor. De Profundis spoke of his anguished journey. Victorian times disagreed with his originality and frolic. He told platonic love was all he was guilty of. Yet, he was charged with crimes. Drowned in cries of shame; and incarcerated to rip him off his passion. Something was dead in him, and what was dead was hope. Hope died first and then gradually died the passion. In exile, his love for writing too deceased. The daemon inside him ceased to inspire. God sent the lord of death The lord of death didn’t move around pompously like him. But came announced, for it had been accepted. The wallpaper moaned upon his untimely death. For it desired to die instead of the then mincing man. He left the earthly plains for the good have fewer days. The good die young as did the revered outcast. Herodotus the father of history unerringly expressed the good ones’ misery. He repudiated to deny his soul and lived nonchalantly. He desired all the fruits of the world so he lived. Exile ruined him and rent his ardor. His meetings with his lover were interdicted by his family. He was pardoned but a century too late. Along with the outcasts that lived in throbbing pain. The outcast deceased when young but lived indefinitely. Infinite existence is promised for the ***** was silver-tongued. He died young and roams the immortal planes. Just like Alan Turing, Bhagat Singh, JFK, and countless more. God wanted them for they wanted to augment their heavens.

F.e.b.r.u.a.r.y of 2016
Thus began the story Of a heart carved in memory Waiting in a public garden, A scar awfully etched, A settlement of love bargain. Adored and chanted honestly, sculpted into depth faithfully, Then repudiated, Expected not to be waiting, More likely to be wilting, Shunning the mercy of heaven, Depleting love creativity, Debilitated by fake Solemnity, Cohabiting with ancient silence, A blackened dead evidence, A word on a bough or a dull stone No one knows when That in love memory was born With engraved letters Everywhere, On its skin Beyond its own ken, And was left in fetters, Enslaved For negligence and history.

FOREVER
Who in its anger repudiated the world And embraced the dark. Or would you prefer elaborate romantic letters of love? Unwavering devotion, A pedestal of adoration Pledges spoken to him above This tale is of one who by choice turned from the light, Nevermore hear the chorus of sweet breezes, Boldly cavorting through sage green branches in the night. Nor see the unfurling of the young dew-covered grass. As life slowly drained from the body, Without protest or a struggle To breathe its last. Sadness encroached upon the soul Oh so quietly and remained The spirit seeking refuge Ignoring the risks lept from reality Into unknown plane Closing their eyes, tightly They prayed to forget what it was, To bear the burden of desire, Or embrace the malignant lies of love. Shall I tell you of a broken heart
💔🔥❤️ (Broken hearts do mend) To the lovely ladies I have dated You remained in there, never deleted Those who took my love for granted Relax for that love was inflated Don’t get frustrated The queen of my heart has been located Her arrival has been long awaited To every man there is a woman I now believe ,well stated I just don’t understand these feelings I have cultivated The love is thick, highly concentrated From single life ,I’ve been liberated Days and night been isolated Those deceptive relationships fabricated We’ve learnt our lessons,we’ve been educated The heart is the most sophisticated ***** so complicated Hard to find it keys but when found ,plays sounds appreciated I’m the last Romeo, Romeo reincarnated I show you true love, love authenticated You can count on me , I’m precise ,well calculated The word love, one highly contemplated Let me explain Love is that feeling activated One you can’t control, it’s automated Directed to who it’s designated To powerful to contain, you can get dominated When love is given to the wrong one You become irritated Heart broken , devastated Love they say it’s poison You can’t count the lives it has contaminated But it is the pushing force that gets us motivated Motivated to do the things we never anticipated Those things may leave you celebrated or humiliated Those moments we hold on to, not always like the happy endings we see in movies That **** that gets us fascinated Love I think is highly overrated But it is sure needed It can’t be eliminated It’s divinely orchestrated Look at Jesus die on the cross An example well illustrated Love hurts though Sometimes at the end you are being repudiated Instead of being venerated This alone can make you feel annihilated But love still don’t leave me intimidated I did love ,I love ,I am loving and would always do Yes love well communicated ©️JDP
