"renewed" poems
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others. The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a ****** mole, but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

Time Tested Beauty Tips (by Sam Levenson)
As the glorious LION Stands strong in stature Radiating with a presence Of Absolute rule The air washed with A bristly respect A natural pride Beams with  beauty He guards the gateway to truth and only the brave may enter He is the king that needs no crown as he holds a royal presence as he sits in his golden coat and main Lies spark combust just bounce off dissolve in all his shine. As broken men become renewed Their fractured parts Collect in the melting *** Of the Lion's  stare As they are engulfed and swallowed In the reservoirs of his strength As the many wounded souls Find themselves restored In his majestic presence As he rattles the very fabric Of this world There is no procrastinating belly Exposed by a lackluster display No one insults his strength By creating a make believe world Or covers him with scaffolding so That they may alter him For he is the finished article And he is never held up or supported With anyone's emotional ropes or strings For he no ones puppet He is never silenced By the Strangle hold of this world Tightened with a multitude of gestures For I hear his ROAR!!!!!!!! His explosive self expression As his throat bursts and beams like the sun Breaking all collars, and his tongue is freed As a thousand trap doors Open up in him   And boulders are lifted and rocks are shattered within the sound of his voice. His Soft pads of silent stealth Gather for all his wealth As the power of his pounce Is governed by both his strength Of spirit and the honesty With which he meets the earth For he owns all of his own pain And paces and growls to warn Away any who seek to steal his fresh **** And diminish him with pretty lies For he owns all his space As it feeds his strength As somewhere in the fury of feasting Lionesses and Lions   We find our freedom For his power explodes like a volcano When his soul meets the earth   As he shakes off all avoidance To seek only truth As streaks of white light And pure Gold glisten in the SUN As the world's projections Reflect and bounce off him There is so much to learn From a beautiful LION

The Wind Is A Lady With
when the clock ticks at 12, another minute has passed and another day has been renewed. it replenishes an entire moment that separates yesterday from today. when the clock ticks at 12, a part of me has left something for good. something that could only be retrieved by the nostalgia of the passing hours that gives a pang of discomfort and dismay. when the clock ticks at 12, a fairy godmother is there waiting for me to move past everything and start fresh, like nothing has ever happened from yesterday but when the clock ticks at 3, my emotions are scattered, eating me alive. it kicks me out of the zone - exposing me to a world of nothing but things to hide. it haunts my core, dwells with my demons, building up emotions that don't seem to collide and at 3, I find you - once again with all the sublime images we’ve captured and grand words we’ve uttered. i find you, drowning from the roots of my memoirs... and there I see how midnights took parts of me because at 3, I’ll always remember how I grew with thee a.t.

when the clock ticks
Entering an airplane, For me, Is like entering a church, This sacred place where we sit in pews, Eyes glued to the incredible, Action up front, Yet the view from the window, As beautiful as the stained glass of the church back home, Pulls longingly at my attention, But unlike church, I truly feel renewed, When we land and I exit, The beautiful, sacred plane.

Airplanes and Church
It is worse for a tulip to live again and be renewed than for the tulip to die and be dead. “What happens when you die?” I asked several romantic partners over the course of my adolescence. “You’re dead,” they answered. It is worse for the tulip to be born again, dust to dust, dirt to dirt, true god from true god, in a process that spiritual peers define as, reincarnation. No tulip is an individual (that is clear), but a process. A perfecting oneness. I can’t admit or bend to any resounding belief that every tulip is the same. That FernGully was a farce and Pocahontas, a phony. That is just not going to fly. Maybe it is the environmentalist inside me speaking, or maybe it is God. I refuse to believe the prodigies and professors of renewal and rejuvenation. I can not discount individuation, even in tulips! Tulips are victims of suburbia, they have been relegated to the lawn, to the mulch bed, but inside of them there are remnants of humanity. I couldn’t believe it, ever. Not ever, even if you convinced me or bribed me or seduced me. No chance.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.

All That is Gold
By now,the seed varieties of the world, may have been attacked beyond recovery by wars of pretense and relapses. We are still learning how to handle it properly. We tend to say. Some will talk and plan over dinner parties, over TV or Radio. Most will leave it behind like another corpse of lessons thrown to the gutter, like a dead *** on another Sunset Boulevard. Iraq's seed banks we blew up in the 2000s. In various places in Asia and the Middle East, places of life and cultured varieties gone in an instant. Echoing our imprisoned ignorance and drives for more instant goods and services. Indian farmers have committed mass suicides after their god Hanuman was used by a chemical giant to sell poison seeds and renewed bondages of indebtedness. One question a stranger asked a group of writers on tour was not what their poetry or books were about, nor why they wrote it, but how writing may and may not be helping as we make decisions and solve problems now? Once agricultural lands turn into new promises of commercial buildings. Cities of inaccessible towers and abandoned malls in America, Spain, China, and Russia feeds us back our own echo. Like converted uses of lands, our humanity is converted into inanimate collections and status symbols of some players or parties. As we face our continuing struggle between our oppressor-selves and our genuine roots. Despite the perversions, inside vicious habits of waste where we glorify promises of war and efficiencies, we continue to be entrusted with the ongoing lessons: Rarely do surviving generations through famine, war and diseases, throw away means to live, or destroy any kind of seed. Every day we wake to the ruins and remains of Our living poetry, word spaces, hours, exchanges, gains and losses, stopping and going. This time, not just for fires of anguish or unnecessary losses, but for each other's midnight lamps.#

BURIED

A man is like a flower Starts with a bud Blossoms into its nature Natural ecstasy and perfection In time it wears out too Finally falls off the tree A natural process A natural phenomenon Naturally the man See as a flower All the nature of being To the base is the same The intelligence the man puts into saying That he is only the creature of importance And everything in the world are the resource Resource to be consumed by himself Is the false flag he is raising And is in the denial of the very nature Anything which is resonant And synchronous to the nature Has the time in nature to the eternity Whereas if not In accordance to the nature Sooner or later On the verse of decay On the verse of extinction I see the human race is in the path of extinction As civilization denying nature rather than glorifying Human beings are far from the true essence And are not synchronizing in the heart Of the very nature The so called intelligence is what humans praise and glorifying A lot full of **** And it is a shame We see the population of human species To rise and rise So may presume the statement I just stated to be false But seeing the thought processes And so called intelligence Is setting the human species To a sense of decay The step to the human race to demolish its own race Is a unjustified intelligence in itself The truth and laws of nature Being in shade Humans incorporating thoughts As a tool of destruction Rather than construction In the field of criticism rather than motivation In the field of extinction rather than sustainability In the field of destruction rather than collaboration And effort in maintaining the continuity Of equilibrium and resonance with the nature On the contrary Making critics and complain about the others Not realizing all are the part of the whole Is creating a challenge to the nature Going off beat with the nature. We shall know Anything not synchronous And not resonant to the nature Nature wipes out sooner or later We cannot accept the very fact it is true Even seeing our own life As a child The bud to the flower The youth The perfection in being and entire existence The new ideas and new world The fruit of generation brings about The generation to come To fertilize the seeds of the existence The old age To be renewed thoughts Nature wipes out as per the plan of its own Accept it as a reality As it is the truth The sharpness of flower Remembered as the youthfulness of flower The bud is treated emotionally With care as it is to be the perfection In the time to come The flower to be wiped out is respected As it was once a perfection Once roared the magnificence of itself Upon this very world The being-wiped flower doesn’t ask For its claim in the now world And indulge the new with its now state But appreciate the perfection once it had   Make believe the youthful flower to blossom And accept its own existence in the present. Every species and beings Are in the nature of being We are no different from the other species We are no superior and at the same time no inferior To the other species And not the other species to us humans Everybody and everything Is the part of the whole The whole is the nature itself.

Air in my chest is close and warm But when I have to release it It's cold and turns to ice Before my eyes Just like my own little storm Frost is beneath my bare feet And the cold air around me Is colder than I've ever felt This winter is brutal This winter is a slow, methodic beat Everything around me is dead Gray and brown, gray and brown The pattern never seems to end The flower must have so much courage To break through the winter's layer of dread It breaks my heart to see the earth like this Grieving for past warm days with sunshine Yet the sunrise always is there To remind the earth that she cares She caresses the barren earth with her golden wrist Slowly she rises till she covers the earth's every line She whispers, "it'll be okay," And all the trees and blades of grass Have renewed hope Hope of days filled with sunshine

Winter Sunrise
my skeleton never liked me very much. it cracks in unusual places, ribcage poking out of its skin prison, the frailty of it breaking beneath the musical whispers of the wind through hollow spaces.  i see light bursting beneath the flash of a camera and my skin incinerates - do not look do not touch do not look - and the charcoal in my lungs is set on fire. i wake up with ash beneath my tongue far too often. my skin despises me now that i have bruises in places no one could kiss better. there's this scar above my right knee, which dislocates when my life falls out of its socket, and it reopens and blood pours from the renewed wound too often. i think i have a body that likes to believe it is dying.

please don’t touch me she said looking at the floor because while it may seem like no big deal to you to her, your hands feel like bugs crawling beneath her skin invading the comfort of her own body please don’t kiss me she whispered turning away because even though she is in a relationship with you consent still needs to be renewed like vows to keep each other safe from the demons of assault please don’t force me she begged as she laid beneath you because a woman is taught that her clothes can’t be too revealing and her smile can’t be too friendly instead of teaching men that **** is horrible and no means no please don’t push someone for *** because ****** assault is not always a drug induced nightmare or a physical force holding you down it can be the manipulation or the bribing the begging or the crying please don’t forget it’s not just about *** it’s about who is in control and who is controlled the owner and the object we are all equals it’s time to treat us as such

The storms are pounding Destruction is rampant No end seems in sight. The day is endless The night never ending Will it ever, ever be right? Lightning crashes Winds are swirling Torrents of water fall down. The earth is shaking The shelter is breaking Thunderous sound resound. Above the storm the Calm prevails Overlooking the turmoil below. Awaiting the return of order again That Peace and Calm bestow. Then it is over... No more pounding Silence, beautiful silence Comes whispering in the ears. The Earth becomes firm The Sun is still shining It dries up all the tears. Through the debris New hopes arise Covering the scars below. Growing stronger, stronger As strength rebounds Renewed by the seeds we sow. Repairing the damage Replacing the lost Moving forward with or without. Finding Hope in the future as Faith reaches upward Redeeming Love without a doubt. -------------------------------- When the storms of life Cause turmoil and strife, The Son dries all my tears. When all seemed lost I counted the cost Turned over all my fears. I am surviving. I am stronger still.

In Passing
Thousands of us were displaced Started careers late Not lucky enough to have had great jobs So we work hard Put ourselves through night school While taking care of family Finally ... Yes, yeah,  whoopee Did it ! Once again completed school Another certificate added to the growing list of achievements. More bills owed to uncle Sam Going on numerous job interviews No one's responding Instead ... All this knowledge stored in your head Current jobs pays minimum wages Those colleges attended; mounting When you try to get ahead  - They hold on to their employments As if, It's Rocket science Looking for younger, greener admits Once AARP comes a knocking on Your door You know they don't want your Expertise anymore What's one to do Still strong, healthy, seasoned Educated, no strings to boot Hopelessly stuck in a world of "We will call you " So at the tender age of fifty Thoughts of starting your own business floats in your head Right Now, back to school For another certificate A chance to use that knowledge Put bread on the table Feel useful Quality of life renewed. New Beginning
Listen here listen here The world is so **** ******* Maybe all these terrible things are happening because it’s trying to be renewed Our president is so whack He keeps stabbing innocents in the back Praising Arnold Schwarzenegger by acting as if he’s the terminator Pero his wife’s an immigrant too American dream who We pretend to honor the OG’s who created this land But now your trying to get them all banned claiming them all to be rapists and murderers Be humble sit down i'm tired of all these racial slurs He says “We cannot aid Puerto rico forever” But really we need to be working on this together Puerto Rico is just a metaphor for how this president sees all Latinos and people of color He does not see us as his equals, nor does he sees us as his fellows Having the mindset being male and white Is the only possibility of being right Were all humans , we all fit in the same race. We should not be considered by the color of our face Yet somehow the white get all the praise Why are we still stuck in this racist faze Since 1963 when Martin Luther King said in his speech “It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity. But 100 years later the ***** still is not free” To this day even if they try not to say The ***** is still treated so falsely. Take a moment now to open up your eyes and stop all the self lies Get rid that hate to open up the gate to a whole new perspective A much more un discriminative kind Then maybe just maybe the world wouldn’t be so **** *******

Listen here listen here The world is so **** ******* Maybe all these terrible things are happening because it’s trying to be renewed Our president is so whack He keeps stabbing innocents in the back Praising Arnold Schwarzenegger by acting as if he’s the terminator Pero his wife’s an immigrant too American dream who We pretend to honor the OG’s who created this land But now your trying to get them all banned claiming them all to be rapists and murderers Be humble sit down i'm tired of all these racial slurs He says “We cannot aid Puerto rico forever” But really we need to be working on this together Puerto Rico is just a metaphor for how this president sees all Latinos and people of color He does not see us as his equals, nor does he sees us as his fellows Having the mindset being male and white Is the only possibility of being right Were all humans , we all fit in the same race. We should not be considered by the color of our face Yet somehow the white get all the praise Why are we still stuck in this racist faze Since 1963 when Martin Luther King said in his speech “It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity. But 100 years later the ***** still is not free” To this day even if they try not to say The ***** is still treated so falsely. Take a moment now to open up your eyes and stop all the self lies Get rid that hate to open up the gate to a whole new perspective A much more un discriminative kind Then maybe just maybe the world wouldn’t be so **** *******

I bend to scoop the sand into my palm, clutching tightly, the tiny grains warm within my grasp. The ocean is calm, gently nudging my toes as though reminding me of its presence, begging to be noticed. It is persistent. I look back to my fist, prompted by the renewed emptiness inside, capturing a glimpse of the last grains of sand as they trickle from between my fingers. They lay to rest at my feet; before, behind, or beside me - I could not be sure. I never did find out, nor did I care. They were never mine to hold.

Never Mine
Hope arrived... limping severely. The journey had been quite long, Searching for Something to hold on to. Hope was weak but would not give up, There is always hope, no matter how small. For: ”Hope springs eternal”. Faith was greatly weakened and vulnerable, Wounded by the words of discouragement. Naysayers of the day were chipping away. Faith needed help to overcome Doubt. Lurking close by... and closing in.... Keep the Faith Baby! Love felt lonely and threatened. In need of some friends to lean on. The days were long and dreary with Hate knocking at everyone's door. Love glimpsed Faith approaching and knew Hope was not far behind. Hope, Faith, Love; Together, they formed a bond and Began flourishing once again! Together, they opened the door of the heart in need of repair. Together, they rescued a heart, Filling it to overflowing. Love began to grow and blossom, Bringing Light to the darkened heart. Hope, walking tall and standing straight, Began to breath deep again. Faith leaped forward with renewed vigor to guard the Heart's door The Three Musketeers... together... Unstoppable... Conquer the world.

The Three Musketeers
Hear the LION'S ROAR As the many indignant souls Find themselves restored In his majestic presence As he rattles the very fabric Of this world as many Broken men become renewed Their fractured parts Collect in the melting *** Of the Lions stare So let us all dare To live life like a Lion Lounging in the sun Owning and surveying His beautiful life Storing great forces Reservoirs of strength To pounce and punch Soft pads of silent stealth Gather for all his wealth His appetite strong He honors every parts of self But there is no where To hide in the cats eye stare As my many fumbling phoney selves Dissolve in his melting glare As I am shamed by a look As I approach life like a crook My procrastinating belly exposed In my lack luster display As I breath a contempt For my precious life Standing strong in stature And rich in golden shine Radiating with a presence Of Absolute rule The air washed with A bristly respect A natural pride Beams with a beauty Freed from all that is false His being effortlessly Embraces the fields Of his own nature As I am silenced by The strangle hold of this Bitter dysfunctional world Tightened by a Multitude of silent gestures I sit to listen To the LION'S ROAR I feel my throat burst My gagged tongue freed My choked throat Beams like the sun As I softly delve In to the LION'S ROAR An open infinity Cuts my many collars Releasing my self expression As a thousand trap doors Open in me Learning from the loving LION Our self expression freed And our appetite renewed We live a new adventure
