"reify" poems
It is in our nature to immortalize. Reify our god-ness, deify our emotions, And every breathe that passes, must Never Die. So we dream of books to write. A scrap here, a piece there, Rejoicing in the artistry, making Picture Frames. It is a pain deemed necessary. To know, to feel, To make trauma the vocabulary, magnifying Suffering Souls. So we call tears the crux. The ****** is our pain, the sting of it all, Death and loss not enemies; dear Old Friends. It is sentimentalized. The whole of humanity, the joy of bittersweet: Call me a bitter harvest such as thee, Let funeral bells forever ring A dirge by children, for their mothers sing A memorial in song for every thing My heart is glad to finally sing A wooing song for one like thee But a better life for you and me No game for two, but a crowd of three What better chance for artistry What prouder show of humanity Than to have you stolen away from me? If this is the sum of humanity To suffer in such ways you see Then begone with my humanity. This I do not want or need. Let Me Forget

I’m sorry we can’t start the morning - I’m still stretching and yawning. Oh, give me a skibidi break, why’d you wait to snake me awake? Anyway, you know not to bother me unless you’ve brought coffee. You can’t just insist we have to leave - I haven’t even brushed my teeth! I’d love to join in your drama but I’m still in my pajamas. Can you give me a quarter hour? I’ve really got to take a shower. We aren’t back in school, who says there are rules? You know, summer loses its charm when you have to set an alarm. Does running late count as exercise? . Kamala Harris! I’m SO hyped. I guess Yale’s (5 member) Alpha Kappa Alpha ladies get to reify their nang now. . . Songs for this: Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra I Remember the Sun by XTC

I’m sorry!
espy me now, vivify me now, beautify me now, satisfy me now, gratify me now, tumefy me now, mollify me  now, clarify me now, classify me now, sanctify me now, immortalize me now, deify me now, rubify me now, crucify me now, mummify me now, reify me now, codify me now, ratify me now, glorify me now, magnify me now, mystify me now, minify me now, justify me now, stultify me now, stupefy me now, falsify me now, nullify me now, villify me now, vitrify me now, calcify me now, ossify me now, fossilize me, forget me and walk away.

transitory
Discern all things in seeming motion from the mover that casts the spell. Thus one apprehends the notion of a mortem free from from hell; though self-created hells our sojourns, while upon on this earth we dwell. Know "I" beyond pain and passion, the balm in Gilead that soothes thy frail division with detachment as the mover knows the moved, never leaving Self to fraction, needle never skip the groove. There is naught that is not That; motion is by Mind alone the maker that our dreams begat, turning boundless Light to stone and crystallized in maze and map -- that veils how brightly it once shone. Unto the Light we shall awake by seeking out the way between all words: the shackles that unmake thy Self by stretch betwixt extremes. Transcend all boundaries that break and reify the dream.

Motion Is By Mind Alone
fragments of shadows found in between my finger tips and your collar bone provide safety in breathing in tracing reciprocating souls find a home in exchange of glances and colorful explosions followed by gentle, studious hands.   reify things only dreamt of or written about in tales of gods and poetry of the rich man. leave the rest of the world adust as they fall in their intentions -- in their questions, we write among the stars what they could not dare to fathom as we all look toward a single sky.
