Everything in place,
A single book out
Made my world cave.
I tried to reason with my mind
But it always struggled to be right.
So I pushed my finger nails
Into  the bed of my palms
And ten,
little,
****** half- moons
Lighted my way home.
I wrote this about the fear of not being perfect.

I doubt,
Therefore, I think
Therefore, I am.

I see.
I take in the colours around me.
The patterns, the lights, the rainbow.
I see the night, and the stars that glow.
I dream.
Therefore, I think.
Therefore, I am.

I smell.
The perfumes, the roses.
The stench, the rotten, the putrid.
The aromas, cooking.
The green, the forest, the trees.
I inhale,
Therefore, I think.
Therefore, I am.

I hear.
The noises. The people, the cheer.
The wails, the screams, the tears.
The rejoicing and happiness.
I hear.
Therefore, I think.
Therefore, I am.

I taste.
The sweetness, the fire.
The treats and savoury delights.
The sourness, the bitterness.
I eat,
Therefore, I think.
Therefore, I am.

I speak.
Short messages. Long speeches.
Quiet whispers. Bellowing noises.
I scream,
Therefore, I think,
Therefore, I am.

I feel.
The despair, the fear, the anguish.
The joy. The pride. The seething.
The envy, greed, and jealousy.
The cold, the heat, the shivering.
The pain, the sickness, the ageing.

I die.
Therefore, I lived.
Therefore, I was.
This poem is a spin of the famous saying by René Descartes. Enjoy.

There then

Ask me why I write
And I'll stop and think
There's beauty in this world
And it passes in a blink
I explore these thoughts
And write them down
For words hold value
Whether it brings a smile, or a frown
It gives you insight
Into someone's mind
The way they feel
If you take the time
So that's why I write
For I enjoy it so
Because without poetry
The world would never know
I often get asked by friends and colleagues why I write and this pretty much sums it up for me.

Mediocrity
Mediocre
No good melody
A definition stained on the upper region of my brain
Actively producing fungi fumes
Nauseated, you are excused
Instant hate when uttering its name
It makes our hands shake, to be displayed in such a way
It has no purpose, only an intention
Killing curiousity, by outlining others self righteously
Mediocre is my creative space for acceptance and I have requested an invitation to everybody
No reasoning just letting go of expectations consuming
Hope to see you soon
Let the spiders eat me away
i'm not finding life any less constricting that the webs they lay
Life is too short anyway
whats the point in adding more hope to the already bent tray
I won't find joy in pretending to be okay
I won't find myself counted with the pretenders who pray
that one day they'll wake up and be what they say
Instead i'll thread the waters of life's turbulent bay
with the thought that everything will end at the end of the day
i'm more that happy to live and die this way

A prismatic drug addict’s first nursery rhyme
Of accursed hearse verses of graphic design
Now to lay to rest intellect spectacles musing
Of selves glorified more than those of my choosing

Deathly serenity
Plentifully sending me vibrant surprises
And penning my ending in violent demises
Disguises surmised by the climate arises
Girl always there riding my similar waves
As I try to save face digging mechanized graves

But the cloud tentacles
To the depths
Drag me down
To demented ascension
Black holes in the ground
Where disciples of light
And my huntress in white
Vivify me by day
Resurrect me at night

Dear Death,
Let me begin by saying Thank You, Thank You for your labours. i myself would be unable to carry such a burden as to ferry those found at their end to their final destination. And i could not imagine such a task and the amount of dedication required to do so. Although im sure by your employ a many a place you have travelled and such sights you've seen. Albeit thanks be given it is not the reason for this writing.

As your residence be not given i sought it best to carry this letter upon my person, So when we should meet it may be presented.  And not knowing the circumstances by which our encounter should occur it may find futile.  But if possible that you should be seen by my own eye and strength i have, unto your hand it shall be given.  In hopes upon reading you would fulfill that which is requested.

Now being that at the time of this writing i am found to be of a young age, There are many accomplishments not yet succeeded. There are loves yet felt and joys yet found,  but through hope they shall be met. Not to say that all will be simple mind you, but with perseverance my goal is to complete my tasks with much ferver. While also taking into consideration that much time will be required to do so.  Which brings me to the reasoning behind this letter.

My Dearest Death, i ask of you, not that you would overlook me so as to prolong the inevitable but only my demise be slow and drawn out.  To what extreme the pain be i leave to you, only that it be to a level suitable for reflection. For you see as of now i look towards that which i wish to accomplish, but at that time my wish is to look back.  To relive the joy and happiness of those moments and to smile knowing that i truly lived. So i may say that all i have set my mind to i have done.

Even though nothing is owed i beseech thee, And to say i would be eternally grateful would sound a lie.  But be it known that by your agreement to my plea you are appreciated.

i shall close now given that by your reading of this the time requested by you for my remembrance has been satisfied.  To ask for anything more would seem greedy.  Not that my intent was to fool you, but being it is my lifes end which is the reason for our meeting i wished to be in control of it.
Please forgive me this offense and my hopes are you remain content in your duties.

                       Sincerely...

Sitting on a bus making a list
Of all the pretty words I know,
Highlights the hollow feeling
Like bells ringing without purpose
Ceremony for the sake of itself
Not like you

Not like funerals and graduations
Formality to induce respect,
Creating the environment for great emotion
The ability to change heartbeats
Bringing pride where there was
Unsteady satisfaction
The power of words together
Of language

You are my language
Not all that I speak or know
A culmination of my creativity
The end product of pretty vowels
Strung together to make
Abstract constructs
The idea that I can be somebody
Because someone has the faith that I can

You create the environment
For powerful emotion
For the torrent of pride and satisfaction
For the validation of my fears
For the seed of hope within my dreams

You are the comfort
When the day consists of
Dusk and dawn
Without the beauty of the sunrise
You are the reasoning
Behind jumping head first
Into waves of fire
Because you knew I could,
So I know I can

crooked steps
just a seconds glimpse behind
perfect trail before me, each step a gift
Then in the distance I  caught sight
of something
I saw you kiss the lips of the sinking Sun
locked embrace
and O' how completely I struggled
that entire night
and O' how the next and the next
and then the  next I tasted
betrayal O' how vivid I
I relived the scene in visions,
questioning my eyes,
wondering your motives
I focused, I tried more and more
O' I dug deep, i closed the miles,,
then much closer I witnessed
then, you whispering to the sky
then you reached up your hands
upon the full moon's face
Pulling her down from heaven,
to your promises as you smiled
to deny us, O' I obsessed
You....
Kissing the sun, Promising the moon,
As I watched O' I glared
O' as did I wilt
I withdraw to obscurity
Beneath cover of your growing shadow

a silouhette to follow
making chase of the impossible
I can't give up
all i do is follow,
and look , and press on ,
just to get close enough
To tell you
You are still my sun,
Though you have another
and you are my setting moon,
my unobtainable,...
and my reasoning for every step,
every mile...
Now besought by the breadth
The severity of those betrayals
I hope you knew,
i followed and still do
coming to apprehend
my little tease,
my treasure, my liar
I give chase,
to how completely
how very far I would go
just to prove once and for all
I love you.
I shall, one day...
If and when the stars let me
they decide...
Even they see plainly my envy
As I have no mask
One motive,
Several unknown labels.
I contrast the brilliant
Silk strewn beauty once mine
Falling once, am I choosing
Leg by foot, by will and love
Outshine the sun and by this
Luna will turn it's attention
Perhaps this test of time
Practiced, lonesome patience
May one day return the gaze
Embrace in arms my desire
The only one I want and follow
My world.
UNFINISHED... but closer

The morning was calm, Like every other, In repose contemplating life and all of its idiosyncrasies.
Gazing upon the silken apparitions swaying in the wind as the warmth of luminous fingers reached through the canopy gently caressing the forest floor.
And while enveloped by the scent of earth and old stone suddenly it became quiet...so quiet, Like dew forming on an arisaema blossom deep in the wood.
In the distance a voice was heard.
A single word softly murmured.
The fauna ceasing their chatter to pay homage to the sound.

And in that moment a crescending echo began within, Consuming me...In so much from that point on nothing more my attention would hold.
On that day i commensed my journey inward, Seeking that which for so many years lay hidden.
i sought understanding of the contents and acceptance of that which was found.
An arduous task to say the least, But necessary.
i found the mind a worthy adversary for my methodical nature as i fervently assembled years of thought and memory into their respective placements, Removing all but that required to obtain solace.
Much time has been invested in this endeavor, And although not complete i am satisfied thus far with my labours.

Now once again i found myself in thought, Confident in my accomplishments, The utterance resting from its toil.
And then, An occurrence, Unlike anything that i have ever known before.
Every fiber of my being lying still at the sound of this...whisper.

As then it fell from my own parted lips.

The meaning, At least the one initially assumed had changed.

The purpose for my existence revealed
        The reasoning for this...life.

i know now why so long ago within my hearing the voice spoke

   For all along my Love...

                 it has been for You.

Lilium,
Ah, you fascinating flower, an old gardener who still looks after his duty, mumbled to himself in awe of the stargazer and spider lilies,
They seem so majestic, yet innocent to the extent of a wounderous aura sent by their gentle yet stinging smell, spreading across the room
He said to himself that maybe,  if they are as beautiful and heavenly as he thought, their taste should be beyond reasoning goodness, sweet
Just one bite later, the taste engaging in his old mouth has caused him to become numb, confused and with an irrigular heart rate, paralised.
Oh such an intent, to punish all those who dare to bring ruin to their glory by eating them, trying their taste with death ? Truly murderous.
Seeping through his body before slowly draining his poor life force, the fate of an unknowing man who had become the vessel of great unfolding fury of a flower which seemed to be so kind before hand.
A treasure is alike a flower, the gift of life resembling its beauty and hournour, growing proud until the sweet poison of death overtakes it
When I knew the meaning of eternity you were no longer there, Darling

Perception is a sickness we conceive.
Letting people control our reactions.
Changing our level of satisfaction.
There is choices in every emotion we produce.
Being offended is a feeling we have comitted.
What you say or do has no effect on my rationality.
Unless, I let your insecurities influence how I carry my body.
Addressing our contaminations helps open our eyes.
No longer being victimized by the lies others drown us in.
We can make the decision to keep opposition or let it roll down like rain.
Having positivity in all is an unlikely belief.
However doesn't mean it can not be studied.
Self control, dedication and confidence is the mixture you need.
Do not wallow in self inflicted misery.
All it takes is you to make a change.
There is no other reasoning it really is simplicity.
