When you see her cry      you get a rag, a gentle delicate cloth.                                         Lovingly grasp her hand                                                and dab its tip;                                        dry each tear as they come.                                                                                           And ask each drop                                                                                                why it'd leave                                                                                           such beautiful eyes.   If she wishes to be in the sky,   tell her to go.                               Take the sun ransom,                               and replace its shining                                     with her own.                                                                       So you can see her every morning                                                                                    and wish for her                                                                                   return each night. When you see her scars   both visible and non-     touch each gently.                                              And remind her                                        that each and every hurt                                             she has survived,                                                                                         has only made her                                                                                    that much more unique;                                                                                        that much stronger.   Show her that she   is a special person and is worthy of love.                                      That she deserves the love                                             she fears to give...                                             show her so that                                                                                  one day after you're gone                                                                                   she can find the strength                                                                                     to go on without you.     Tell her that while she might not be a goddess far above worldly desires,                                           that she is amazing,                                          for just being herself                                     for being that beautiful girl                                                                                who thinks herself damaged                                                                                   when in truth she's just                                                                                 a different kind of beautiful.    And finally, love her.   Like a boy loves a girl Till she finally remembers                                             that that's what she is:                                           not a scar, not a goddess,                                              not a star. But a girl.                                                                                     That deserves to be loved.

Silence is all we dread
This is me...           Seeking refuge           under a tree,           As the wind released           it's pensive sigh.           Leaves sapped dry           were then set free.           Shades of yellow           took to the air in an           attempt to fly.           This is me... Peering through jaundiced eyes. Laying still in a torrent of ochre. As leaves fall from lowered skies, Drenching and submerging me in a sea of scattered amber. This is me...           Captivated by this           spectacular phenom.          Flavescent dance           governed by           wind and gravity.          This is the dream...           Too long held for ransom           By the relentless           grasp of reality.          This is me... Awaiting such time to arise and run. In my heap, my safe haven, my fortress of yellow. Till the inevitable set of the orange sun Only then... myself to the moon I would again show.

by— Josiah Israel Twas oft the way in days of old, When knight would battle brave and bold, The damsels hand in hopes to hold, Worth more then polished Stone, or Gold For this is what a boy is told When day is done and night is cold… “One day my son, thy chance will come Though courage oft may waver, When lady waits, through sable gates For thee brave lad, to save her!” For when a dragon stole a maid, Awaiting ransom duly paid, Twas bravest knight, armor arrayed   With noble steed and burnished blade Rode swiftly to the damsels aid… “You have not birth of high degree Yet be thou brave and fight, For low in rank thy birth may be Yet heart makes noble knight!” And after facing beast and foe The knight with maiden free would go Away to fields in need of *** For seeds ere winter need to grow And none can reap who do not sow… “Not all you do will win a prize Of gold or silver bent, So reap a harvest good in size And be thee well content.” And when the battle horn he hears The knight must banish all his fears And ride to war, with battle cheers On maidens cheek alight her tears Fearing death, she spends the years… “To win renown in battle Might also be your path, May your enemies armor rattle As they feel your righteous wrath!” But after kings campaign is done The knight to home will swiftly run From dusk through night to rising sun Till maiden sees her hero come Heart moving swift, a beating drum Her heart a prize which first he won! “Home is best at warring's end To be with those you cherish, A place to rest, your wounds to mend Where love will never perish” Though all the kingdom knows his name And minstrels spread the brave knights fame His love for she, remains the same And they live happily, Knight and Dame…

Misogyny, The hatered, objectification, and sexualization of women His hands were too big for my eight year old body My stomach turned in ways I could only describe as "icky" I screamed until I could no longer feel any breath left in my lungs "Stop it! Please! I don't like this game. Daddy stop!" Time slows Seeming like an eternity Every touch was like a sparkler Burning while tracing the path his fingers left on my body When he was finally done I gathered my thoughts and prayed to God to save me When I went to the bathroom to clean up I saw his handwriting on the mirror Scrawled across it was a verse saying Hell was my only destiny My body is not a bag of bones for you to play with and the burry Poisonous words foam from your mouth like rabid dogs You pick pieces of my pride from your teeth You think it’s okay to mess with women To make them feel vulnerable Just because you have a Napoleon Bonaparte complex That does not give you the right to steal our self-esteem To make up for the lack of your own You say “Well maybe YOU shouldn’t have worn those slutty heals, Or that dress, Or your hair that way.” You say “Maybe YOU should have done something to avoid being a target.” You say “Stop being so disrespectful. I just wanted to see your **** You have a real flair for excuses So excuse me when I tell you You will regret messing with a woman like me You see, I keep my heart strapped to my steel-toed combat boots And an army of mistreated women of speed-dial We will hold you captive and make our war paint from your blood As ransom notes fall from your mouth With the words “I’m sorry” scrawled across them I hate to break it to you But those words won’t sew up the open wounds you left us with When you came in to *** in and steal our innocence The thing you don’t seem to realize is You might have taken our innocence But that’s not what we are made of We consume strength for breakfast, Courage for lunch, Wisdom for dinner, And guys like you for a midnight snack. We’re not just warriors Were survivors What you do to us doesn't define us Were not broken Were beautiful And the more I think about it You’re just dogs chained to a tree While I’m the person Who’s going to put your treachery to sleep.

Katie the previous lives lady tries to rescue her nephew Katie's nephew Jackson Gooden is in town to spend some time with Katie and it couldn't have come at a worst time, you see the kidnapper who kidnapped Graham Thorne, well his reincarnation was in town and he was getting a messed up head with everyone telling him he was mentally deranged, the only one who helped him was Katie, and when Katie took time off to look after her nephew when he's in town, he almost flipped his marbles untill he decided to prove to everyone else that he is Steven Bradley and use Katie as a blackmail target, you see what he plans to do is kidnap Katie's 15 year ok'd nephew Jackson and blackmail Katie,if she refuses to see him, the weight will fall on her nephews head and **** him, yes this is the way for Katie to make sure she makes me happy. Katie begged for him to let him go, and then say you will be a pig in your next life, what you do here affects your future happiness, let my nephew go and we'll talk about treatment for your illness, and he said that he thought she'd understood him, but really she is just like the other's, and Katie had to keep telling him that he is good and will never stray, and she did that because her patient had a pocket knife at her nephews head, and Katie said, I believe this is the wrong way to handle your illness,,I told you that you kidnapped a kid, and seconds later you have my 15 year old nephew at knifepoint, you are ******* up, and also you are making a mockery of my good business, he just laughed still determined he'll **** him And make Katie jitter. Jackson tried to scream, so the knife would be removed from his neck, and Katie said, I will find a way that this man can't ever harm you,,you have to refuse to go anywhere with him, he had a weakness, and that is, if you laugh at him, he'll suddenly be scared of him, and Katie then said that she doesn't believe in laughing in her job, but she decided to make a exception here, because really she wanted time off with Jackson. The reincarnation of Steven Bradley said that he will hold Jackson and Katie for a huge ransom and Jackson said, you can't get me, I am too smart, you see i am young, you are old I'm a young dude, your an old fogie, i'm a young dude, your an old fogie, I'm a young dude, your an old fogie, a stinken little old fogie ma--n. And then he ran and Jackson said 1 win for young against old, and then Jackson and Katie spent time sightseeing for 4 days and Katie, I know she is born to tell people previous lives stories, really enjoyed being away from the office and when she came back,,the first phone call made was a phone call to the cops, issueing a restraining order on that Steven Bradley reincarnation, and then Jacksoc went back to his parents house saying he was kidnapped by a ghost while Katie tried a new approach to tell people previous lives, so she can keep love one's safe for the future of her business, yes that's what she'll do.

There was a time when men were kind When their voices were soft And their words inviting There was a time when love was blind And the world was a song And the song was exciting There was a time Then it all went wrong I dreamed a dream in times gone by When hope was high And life worth living I dreamed that love would never die I dreamed that God would be forgiving Then I was young and unafraid And dreams were made and used and wasted There was no ransom to be paid No song unsung No wine untasted But the tigers come at night With their voices soft as thunder As they tear your hope apart And they turn your dream to shame He slept a summer by my side He filled my days with endless wonder He took my childhood in his stride But he was gone when autumn came And still I dream he'll come to me That we'll live the years together But there are dreams that cannot be And there are storms we cannot weather I had a dream my life would be So different from this hell I'm living So different now from what it seemed Now life has killed The dream I dreamed.

I Dreamed A Dream (Les Miserables)
You, with your supple and brown leather I, with my gaze fixed on my father’s pocket You, peeking out from its corner like a Child playing hide and seek in a desolate ally I, like the kidnapper, keeping an eye on your Fragile movements, waiting for you to stumble Into a dark corner and into my sinister embrace So that I could get my ransom inside you, the Little green strips of paper you contained Toys, chocolates and kites my father wouldn’t get me. You, with your expensive sheen, attracting me To yourself like a gold ring attracting an eagle Only to disappear as soon as my father left For work and you, containing an enigmatic exchange For little candies the definition of bliss to six year old me. I, with my naïve mind thinking why I would get less Candies and goodies when you would be frail And devoid of those thin green leaves. You, in the possession of my elder brother now I, eight year old me, wondering if your gauntness Made my father a dear departed. You, I didn’t unravel the enigma of your long Green leaves until I was thirteen and you Resided in the back pocket of the Khaki trousers My brother used to wear, Now Tattered just like your old unkempt skin. Dear Old Wallet, my dead father’s wallet I liked you better when you were fat and fit, Supple and shiny, brimming with coins and green leaves. And when I  was unaware, little and innocent thinking You were a miracle for I only wanted toys back then only to realize I need a lot more For I am now cold,  fatherless and bankrupt But you are empty and thin, just like my Dying mother.

men and their egos (I turned twenty this summer) are inseparable insufferable begrudgingly they admit “guess you were right” believing that will make them heroes, by full on confessing they are ******** I turned twenty in the summer my tan legs in cutoffs (it’s summer) drives them to madness, accused, you are pitiless, for their dreams of you involve ransom   still, you search and quiet plead like Abraham, to the heated air, while listening to Whitney Houston and Ed Sheeran, (on your earbuds just so nobody knows your weakness) for just that one good man in the township of ***** and Gomorrah my mother bitter sneers good luck with that, forgetting I am now twenty years so old, so advanced, that my hopes and aspirations are no longer those the ones in my high school yearbook my poetry fills pages, a human urban renewal, laying out a city of hope recalling that ***** and Gemorrah were destroyed

men and their egos (I turned twenty this summer)
INSECURE GENERATION The generation of today is living an insecure life. Life full of comparison Possession of things without thinking of what may happen A generation trying to prove others that they are the best A generation where young and energetic men are trying to prove themselves by destroying others. A generation where big and high class daddies destroy the young with material things A confused generation showing their happiness and wealth through photography A confused generation  hard to love people from a broken family          Everything is invalid! We suffer insecurities we didn't create Many are becoming insecure Completely unstable Trying to compare themselves with our today's models and celebrities of our century Probably hiding behind makeup Cause probably without the makeup! They, themselves are a hot mess! They pay a ransom to look great! If beauty is in the eyes of the beholder! Then, why suffer so much trying to look spectacular? Why spend to your last coin attracting a whole lot of people? They say beauty comes from within Our generation need to stand courageously And fight against the enemy of self insecurity!

INSECURE GENERATION
Marooned Vapid beauty of this room Frothing carpet, ocean blue One wall me, the other you What lies between is residue Scribed on soggy, shipwrecked parchment Questions asked, time forgotten Who are we? What do we know? Into these questions Summer flows And thrashes at your Autumn’s brinks Yearlong they torment my brain Infringing on every season If not for the manic scheme To love and having loved be loved This correspondence to a distant land With stars, more numerous and brightly lit Than my burgeoning highway exit Would by no means have left my hand But if, against all odds, it will prevail Extolling truth’s folly, my sorrowful tale Quells with reason my groundless pride At having docked on your passionless harbor Unloading platonic cargo during our youth’s ebbing tide Must not create union of body or mind You swallow my horizon, like the sun twilight Though, one need not chase that orange orb for tomorrow In this night without fortitude, lewd humor consumes me Singing with the mouth on my head and your voice inside I plunge into darkness Skimming its silky surface Before zipping it behind me Shall I drown, as I have lived? In vain, my dreams your subjects Taken for ransom in your heart’s Tripoli Not surmising recompense, I forfeit this A note belying resonance Of my heart’s last echoed throe One desperate effort, giving up Feed every vestige to the void Wading, torso encumbered Each sullen relic of your memory Falls to the deep’s frigid ebony Then, only too late am I cognizant That my own breath is tribute yet spent Therefore if I were to float or swim I’d give you every ounce of who I am Convince you to relinquish me From your tepid, spurning sea Then lying beneath moist underbrush Slowly, breathe no more

Marooned
Listen to the slivering  paths of the Autumn breeze The coming velvety skies drenched in ink reflecting silver stars Wave goodbyes to the elusive flawed brown stone with pensive eyes A heart will gasp years ahead for callousness past shown now in tears Remember those golden sunsets for now woeful days are never azure Watery eyes and wrinkled mask lament a time you could have shared A King's ransom at your feet twined with an  honest heart assured Hear the whisperings of the mockingbirds and muted cold choruses Rainbow starlights betrays pots of gold hidden never to be found Maidens dance retro and the harpist pluck for painters with brushes By sunkissed shores blends of contrasts joyous in customary ponds Smiles pure from honeyed caves same when as waxed spears plunges Save me a place in the delights of Troy and tell Helen to send a sound Bring me home to peace and love, rescue me from lions in golden cages [email protected].

Always Clear Skies and Minds.....
I can’t help but wonder if we have crossed paths Over and over again, tangling each hello Catching a hint of mischief when we first bumped into each other And how easy it was for us to slip into Conversations, plotting to take on the world But first things first, we have to catch the moon And hold the stars ransom in our back pockets I swear we were pirates singing sea shanties And conquering cities, but now we settle For late night dance parties, and one shot, two shot, three And sure, we are invincible, and I can’t help but wonder If we have crossed paths over and over again Our stories layering, life long friends Or maybe arch nemeses, and each time Tagging out a new adventure Where we are chasing after each other I swear we were renegades, young rebels Questioning authority and pushing boundaries Now, we collaborate artistically Broadcasting in a world of social media, one shout, two shout, three And sure, we are strong, and I can’t help but wonder If we have crossed paths over and over again Our history repeating, kindred spirits Or maybe pieces of the same soul, and each time We meet, we find a part of ourselves We had forgotten

Gunboats ahoy there’s pirates about Speeding from Somali’s shore, A fast flimsy boat and some black skinny men With grenade launchers, cannon and more. They’re coming to capture the tankers They’re coming to capture the crew They’re coming to take you hostage Because fat cats will pay cash for you. It’s happening more every day now Ships are held to ransom for gold, This contagion is out of hand now The Somalian pirates are becoming so bold. Hard men in the west prepare crackdowns Gunboats sail for the Gulf as we speak, With instructions to shoot to **** now And make eradication of pirates complete! But you ask, why is this happening? Why does a man, a pirate become? What instigates this crazy morphosis From fisherman to pirate with gun? Somalia has no Government to speak of, It collapsed and went long ago. No law or army in place here, Life is dangerous, chaotic and low. Some fat cats made use of the vacuum They ditched toxic waste in the sea They irradiated the coastline region Making this a poisoned place to be. The coast folk were dying in thousands Sick mothers lost babies and kids Black illness spread madly in villages Then blind panic and pain hit the skids. Some fat cats made use of the vacuum They trawled the coastline clean Somalia’s fishermen were destitute The catch went from vast to lean. The villagers were starving and hopeless And what was pain became death. The leaders appealed for salvation But those with the means, had turned deaf. Who would take this problem on now? Who would make these ******** pay? Most turned around and shunned them, The world had turned and looked away. So hit transgressors where they’re vulnerable. Strike in sea lanes where it’s free. Hit them near the Horn of Africa. Attack with blades of piracy. Hooray for the small man’s justice. Hooray for his skinny, black shanks, Please God help their quest for deliverance For the West has arrived with their tanks. Now I ask you, in all fairness To stand back and view the scene, Where the richest and most powerful are doing something that's obscene For not only are they poisoning The most vulnerable race on earth But compounding it with genocide, And I add, for what it's worth, The West, in righteous arrogance, are crushing poorest fellow man In his struggle for survival Against their mammoth, global hand. I've been taken advantage of. I've been lied to a thousand times. My mind is awfully broken now, Adn my body is riddled with lines. I can't believe you did this to me After you said you loved me. In the end, it was just a trap, And the ransom was my sanity. I made myself pretty for you, Dolled up with bows and paint. It was never good enough though. You stole more of me every day. I tore myself apart because I couldn't be enough. Even then you yelled at me "Get over it.. Life is tough" You never believed me when I said A thing you didn't like. I told you I hated you in my life Always feeding me molten lies. Even then, you pushed me away And tore me limb from limb. Everything I did to myself Was caused by you, mum, not him.

Broken By You
They say their souls are saved, That they've been blessed 'cuz they give praise. Oh! Their dreams all seem so handsome, But we're holding their God for ransom. They will send negotiators, Protesters and lippy haters. Oh! It will be so grand, son! 'Cuz we're holding their God for ransom. We'll hold back their End of Days, As long as they abhor the gays. Yes, we'll deny eternal bliss, If they can't ditch their prejudice. To condemn then throw a tantrum? THIS is why we hold God for ransom!

Hold God for Ransom
Hold my heart for ransom In exchange for your sweet whispers Kisses and sighs in tandem Along with moonlit midnight capers Take my heart as hostage A willing one it would be Deep within its bony cage Working up into a frenzy Hold my heart at knifepoint Incised upon I've already bled Over cracked notions and disjoints Chasing after hope that hasn't fled Brand my heart with your seal Press into and make your mark Folded within is all I feel Behind your insignia so stark Choose my heart for blackmail Ask of me whatever Hope to accomplish without fail Hopes of us do not sever Play my heart like a toy Adore me and hold me tight Handle me with child-like joy Share with me, squeals of delight Mould my heart of clay Wrap your fingers, twirl me round Make me worthy of another day To celebrate your sight and sound Lace my heart and tug at it Pull me closer so I could be near Bind me tight so I would fit Coveted spot beside you, dear Enslave my heart on all fours Lead me through your universe Close behind us, lock all doors Subject me to love's greatest murmurs Place my heart next to yours Let me be enamoured to the brink In due time, and on laboured course Perhaps we would finally beat in sync

In Sync
Once upon a time... You & I lived lives divided Until by fate we were united When we first lit the fire Once upon a time I would watch you from a distance Desired you, but stayed resistant To the Urges that would cloud my mind with Wickedness, persistent Your perfect fairy wings Fluttered lightly in the wind And though I did the best I could My thoughts were wrought with sin And I desired you like mad For the Angel that I had Left me burning despicably With wretched flames within And You were so Inviting. Your Body Ripe for the Taking. Guarded you were Behind Gates of the Dragon Yet I watched you intently Plotting my Ransom Waiting on the right moment to strike To steal you away from your Protected Life And to take you back with me Into my Cell In the dark and abysmal cave where I dwell To teach you the ways Us Creatures gain pleasure To make you my Slave And to ransack your Treasures And then came the day That you broke away From the Chains That held you to where you were safe I saw you And watched you and Stalked you Intently While you were out searching the world Innocently And then, When you were finally in reach And we were Alone I snatched you away from the flowers and reeds And stole you back with me into my home A cold and depressing Dungeon of Stone Your protector was gone And you were all mine When we were alone Lost somewhere in time And to my shock, and utter surprise You became the flame that lit up my eyes And slowly but surely as days slipped by I became yours more than you became mine And then, you escaped or did I let you get away? You emerged from my cave Beautiful, unscathed I just couldn't bring myself to be one you hate When your love is so sweet I just couldn't betray it But then, I thought of you out in the world Alone On your own My sweet pixie girl And I couldn't JUST COULDN'T Handle the thought of a Monster like me Dragging you through the mud Coveting you the way that I do But most of All Tasting your Love Staying put was so much harder than trying to be your Guardian and Rescue you and Shelter you from any more Hate or Abuse And now I see my sins Led me out of the darkness within Into the sunshine of your life - Where I found the Source of Light I needed to keep me alive And I feel like I owe you my life And now you're free from my Prison but I guess, so am I, in essence In the end, the Fairy Showed the Goblin, He longed to be a Prince.

You kidnapped me I had no choice I had to follow you By the sound of your voice You grabbed me Put me in your car You drove me to your house Which was very far You said that  You would never give me back And that my ransom note Would come from a newspaper stack I live in your house  Under your bed But all you give me  Is a slice of some bread I want more to eat So give me a break I'd love to stay with you But can I have some cake

Kidnapped
No quibbling siblings musing in the shallows, patriotism must be dealt with at it's route markers. They are all twisted. It is the duty of right thinkers to untwist and shout, All ye, All ye or Oy ye, Oy ye Outs (never Ox) in free. The ransom has been paid, the game of hide and watch is played. Touch, eh? Nature's what? Original state? Perfected state? Fractured state patched with circuit breaking dams and weirs. Nature's God, the mind behind Nature. whose were the buffalo the servants of christmas replaced with sacred cows offered and eaten in Outback Steak Houses at Indian Casino Super TAs from sea to shining sea? Whose God commanded that? Whose God permuted that? Who has sown bullheads in the squash? Shall we pull them up? Let the children pull them up. Teach them to see the tiny round leave, which is to be squash or watermelon, sosweet, or water-stealing, sticker-making **** Goatheads in little running feet all summer long, ouch. ouch. ouch. Knowledge is power. Power is not lost. Is that enough to know and grow to know more and to spare? Is enough abundance enough to spare and share? Yes. On a broken planet, men of both model may make enough of anything they desire, or sire in their best happy ever after scheme or schema. That part never broke. The tongue-mind interface, that fried. Listen. Wisdom never shouts, you know.

Nature and Nature's God, everybody knows what that means right?
There was a ransom for a queen, a shining glimpse of hope. There was a sick and dying scene, a message for the pope. The disparity made us desperate and so we decided to occupy a building of the public sector until they met our demands. What a plan, what a plan! We were comfortably clinging to the safety net of fashion, we were terribly in order. There were things less trivial than the status quo, you knew that I knew that you didn't know. We were perfectly defined in the terms of academia, hey,         can I follow ya?
