That pure innocent smile, Your childish face and that side profile, Your silky hair and that perfect hairstyle, Would never forget you. **** I miss you! The touch of your smooth skin, That beautiful little chin, Your blushy cheeks and that grin, Still I adore you. **** I miss you! Those big dope eyes, That Stupid nose , Those size 7 feet and pinky toes. Your medications and Ayurvedic dose. Wish again to feel you. **** I miss you! Baby I still remember, that freezy December, The day we fell off the scooter, Your stupid buggy computer. Our first date and the perfect kiss, That raining night we spent in balcony When you burnt the toast and macrony, That birthday card you made me, Helping in projects and assignments, You taking care when I got sick, I recall all those perfect memories of you, still there's a place for you, **** I miss you! I wish you would have waited, I would have come back, But I can't blame you, It was me who needed the space, The fault is my OWN! So I am the one left ALONE! :'(

**** I Miss You!
They didn't know what Diversity was... The kids, that is. Since the kids didn't know it, the teacher coined it as "“black” visibility". She wasn't sure if she could make that call so she nodded her head, looking for approval. The interviewer asked in what direction did the teacher see Diversity As if Diversity was a one-way street. Let me just refresh your memory... "“black” visibility" As if decades of progress in the schools were undone, The kids voted on Performances and Projects for “black” History Month. How shocking!... Kids of every shape, size, ability and race studying a time in history... Sounds racist to me. They wanted a Gospel Choir that is clearly only for “black” students Because I'm the student Director for the Fordham University's Rhythm of Praise Gospel Chior for the fourth year running... Maybe I'm missing something... MAYBE I'm “black”... Maybe if I close my eyes really tight... Nope, I'm still “white”. Olive brown perhaps? Only in the summer. Anyway, I digress like Sophia Patrilo from the Goldren Girls Who was Italian by the way. Just advertising for Diversity. Let's debate about "Music Debates" for a moment. Maybe you call it Debates because Hip Hop is debatable, and by the way only for “black” students. When I could argue for days upon days About how Reggaeton didn't come from Salsa but I know **** well that Salsa came first. The kids wanted to Stomp the Yard and battle it out. I do believe rap battles take place around the world And one of the best rappers I know is an English teacher in Harlem Whose hair is redder than a leprechaun. Talent Shows that showcase every student's ability Whether it be singing, dancing, performing their poetry, But still apparently that's not Diversity. Neither is an International Day Where International ways are celebrated. And finally, a Diversity Day, That clearly means diversity is separated. "They wanted a lot of things" Yeah. They asked for a whole lot... of everything BUT diversity. That's right, because they don't know what it means The Kids, that is... Then tell me please: Define Diversity. Is it seeing a “black” horse with “white” stripes Or a “white” horse with “black” stripes? Why is it between “black” and “white”? Why not between “white”, “black” brown, yellow, orange, brick red... Let's get it out of our head That teachers can't learn anything from their students, Because it sounds to me, Like they had a pretty good start to the meaning of Diversity. And if it turns out they didn't, That's what teachers are there for: Make a **** lesson about it.

May 1999, on my way to school on day I saw you I wanted to be with you. On the way home, I saw you again. I saw you most days. By June, I realised you went to our school. I felt like I knew you, but I'd never talked to you. In September, you were in my class. I flet a rush of hope that I finally talk to you. In October, I did finally talk to you. Because of a science project. Your name was Mike and you were a wiz in class. By January 2000, we were good friends and did a lot of projects toghther. At the end of June, I had changed schools. I realised that I can't live without you.

I Can't Live Without You
Capricorns, Capricorns are ruled and schooled by the planet Saturn, Saturn, Saturn. A bandit with a similar pattern, pattern, pattern. Capricorns, Capricorns are brethren from a legion; a legion of an atmosphere of the southern-hemisphere; in the equatorial region. At an angle, angle, angle; Capricorns, Capricorns are angels of Aquarius and Sagittarius. They’re boisterous, courageous, contagious, glamorous, prestigious, rebellious, various and victorious-goats, goats, goats! Capricorns, Capricorns cope, devote, note and quote, quote, quote. They’re ambitions with superstitions and various missions, missions, missions! They’re novelties and poverties, revelations and revolutionaries, revolutionaries, revolutionaries. Capricorns, Capricorns are theories and visionaries, visionaries, visionaries. They’re objects, projects and rejects. They’re leaders and readers that are poetically, negatively or positively dictatorial and doctorial!  Some are historical, optical, political and radical; authentic, eccentric, neurotic, poetic, theoretic, theoretic, theoretic. Unicorns, Unicorns are biblical and mythical, mythical, mythical; they’re ****** exotic, iconic, ironic, magic, nostalgic creatures, creatures, creatures. Their features resembling a horse of course, of course. Furthermore, they’re fierce and a force. They’re a breed and creed of desire, fire and perspire, perspire, perspire, perspire! They’re viral, viral, viral! This partial, sworn steed; born awesome, awesome, awesome and too blossom, blossom, blossom. Unicorn’s spiral, crescent horn usually projecting and protruding from their foreheads. Rough and tough enough too pierce, pierce, pierce! Unicorns, Unicorns are defendants, independents and pendants. Hark! Hark! Hark! They’re brilliant and resilient sparks, sparks, sparks! They’re told as bold, old art, from the heart, from the start. Unicorns, Unicorns are fillers and pillars of guide, pride and stride, stride, stride. They’re along for the long, long, long ride... Unicorns, Unicorns are strong, strong, strong! Some as a song, song, song, some throng, throng, throng, some wrong, wrong, wrong. As a child, child, child; wild, wild, wild! Unicorns, Unicorns overwhelm, overwhelm, overwhelm. Their domicile realm, apparently, inherently and originally belonging from India; alleluia, alleluia for India, India, India! Capricorns and Unicorns; two different creations. Capricorns and Unicorns; two different relations. Capricorns and Unicorns; two different situations and superstitions. They’re rainbows that glow, know and show. They’re of borrow, of sorrow and of our tomorrow.

Most schools have projects, in science classes and such. Most of us, mastered the science of surviving in projects. It's those at the bottom who need the most help, but cant even get proper school supplies.. where's the logic ?. But oh, the rags to riches story is prevalent isn't it? Nope, the only rich I know is Professor Richard. And that's not even something worth mentioning, he does more lessening than lessons lets paint the picture.. But these young kids don't understand, they try to curse them, place them in prisons, its a trap from birth.. Give them these Rick Rosses as role models, knowing they don't have fathers, instead of Tupac Shakur, showing them worth.. My bestfriend Tony once questioned his dark skin, just like i once questioned my brown. how profound, a couple 4th graders at the time, having to prove that they were "down". Crazy how Tony proved he was down, now i visit his site yearly on November the third. And things aren't getting better, but nobody gives a **** haven't you heard.. The prayers our mothers chant, ritually every night. Praying to the Sun gods, perhaps one day we'll all unite. -afj

Sleeplessness Brought to you by sparkling espresso in a can I have underestimated you yet again, oh humble coffee bean But back to work Eight tabs open, going back and forth It's nothing short of a miracle if any given task is given more than a minute of attention at a time Muscle spasms, trembling, fascinating Overwhelming urge to mindlessly flex the muscles I don't have Fake machissimo brought about by exhauation? Or the exhileration of having to complete 8 projects in a day While simultaneously trying to grasp a breaking down of my mind which hasn't happened since...forever Hmm These are the prime conditions to breed a taxing marathon of productivity Or a chain of costly impulsive decisions to perpetuate procrastination. Signs that someone is going crazy range from ****** to inability to stick to a single topic to excessive use of run on sentences "How meta, acknowledging your insanity deconstructs the very notion of it if you normalize it within yourself and just look as everyone else as crazy! Ha.ha." That made no sense, i don't think. I like using big words to make myself sound smart you can make anyone believe anything if you use big words also it scares those Hippopotomonstroesquipedaliophobixlcs Grumble grumble Good night/morning/whatever

Sleeplessness
Anything that makes noise Should not be done on a Sunday. Don’t mow the lawn, Don’t vacuum your home. Respect the stillness that is meant to be. There are but few exceptions (However, your yard work and Home improvement projects are not included). The birds singing, for example. Or the sound of breakfast sizzling Or the whisper of coffee pouring. The loudest thing that should be heard Is the laughter of company. Family and friends are what the day is for. If you don’t have those, then meet a stranger So that next week, you have a friend for Sunday.

Horrid and morbid, bitter, glittered and littered memories! Automotives, adaptive captives, movies, motives, Natives, locomotives, obsessive and possessive. Some awesome, brilliant, different, ignorant, persistent and resilient. ****** and exotic! Some memories are eccentric, fantastic, futuristic, magic, logistic, optimistic, plastic, realistic, tragic or sadistic. Some random sizes with hidden prizes! Blameful, gainful, lameful and painful. Dreary destinies, diaries, inquires, weary rivalries, stories and theories in memory. In theory, memories made from cheers and fears, jeers and tears! Of amends, amens, omens, gems, hymns and stems. Memories abbreviated and dedicated, deviated and medicated! Memories cased, edited and erased. Evangelically, eventually everyone inherits! They’re like tiny merits! They spike the psych. They strike and are unlike. Memories of bites, defects, dislikes, effects, fights, flights, insects, logics, neglects, objects, plight, projects, protests, recollects, reflects rejects, respects and suspects. Memories of fate and hate! Some are not great. Memories of schemes, screams or themes of dreams that seem. Memories of small, memories of tall! Memories in despise, memories of lies. Memories of wise; beyond the skies, as I close my eyes…

Yellow The supposed color of happiness. Plastered onto the walls of a vacant room. Mocking the prisoners. Waiting for the next victim, To wait, And wait. Constantly waiting for their turn. People come and go Watching lives pass. Entering the realm of the forgotten, The after thoughts, The community service projects. With plastered smiles on vacant faces. Just like the yellow walls. Pretending to be something they're not, Happy

To the people who think education majors have it easy, Nothing, and I truly mean nothing, gets under my skin more than people who have the same mindset as you. People like you think that my 3.8 GPA isn’t as worthy as someone else’s in a different major. People like you think education majors can’t possibly be as stressful as other majors. People like you think that my 40-page unit plan doesn’t even begin to compare to your 40-page report. People like you think that teaching is easy. it's ******** I’m not going to sit here and go into detail about all of the difficult assignments I’ve had over the past four years as a middle school math major because frankly you’re just not worth my time. Also, because that would mean that I have something to prove to you, and I don’t. You can’t begin to judge a major until you have sat in on their classes, done their assignments, took their tests, etc. So, for you to judge my major based solely on the fact that I’m teaching children makes you arrogant and ignorant. Imagine the excitement you feel when you get an A on an exam you spent days studying for. Now imagine that same excitement being stripped away from you in a second because someone tells you that your major is easy and that that’s the reason you got such a good grade. Imagine working your **** off to earn Dean’s List every semester you’ve been at school, for someone to turn around and tell you that the only reason you’ve achieved that is because of your easy major. It’s hurtful. I chose to become a teacher because I want to take part in shaping children’s minds. I want to take part in making students grow up enjoying math. I want to take part in making learning fun.   I don’t think that is something I’ll ever regret, no matter how many times you try to bring me down. Please just focus on your own major. Focus on your own difficult assignments, your own difficult tests, and your own difficult projects, that way you can truly strive for success. And I’ll still be here, an education major, cheering you on. Sincerely, A future teacher.

This is how to eat a muffin Flip it upside down, unwrap the wrappings Nobody starts at the top in this town Sip a skinny vanilla latte Text your ex, start wondering He'll try you later, of course he's busy. What were you thinking? In what world could this have worked? Your existence is physical, is there any purpose you serve? An actress, a dentist, a model, a florist, a teacher, a songstress I hate to list projects unfinished This is how to eat a muffin You take one bite and leave the rest as a metaphor

Her warm words wash over me like a dope fiend daze... other voices boorishly buzz a cackle cacophony. At best they are the background noise of your existence. bit players (endless layers) as she comes my way **Your body pixilates in an ******* focus**, it bends, projects all else slowly into your frame, the deja vu of ****** tunnel vision. I struggle to speak as I stand before you. All others condemned, reduced to extras in a celluloid daydream they are arrayed for your adornment   set pieces that surround you in the cinema that is your daily divine saunter body sacramental (those around you incidental) as she walks away The subtext, the reflex, the ambivalent, ambient lighting means nothing without you **my arc, my carnal ****** any other epilogue is dystopian cdh

I definitely won’t make any apologies for saying this and if anyone isn't careful she’ll leave them in a ditch. But don't get me wrong, I am not referring to any woman by that name only to the powers of deception that are played within the devil's game.                      When you consider how much trouble she has caused; without a moment’s lapse or of one repentant paused, in human affairs over the years since the advent of man; it’s a wonder that she hasn’t yet been flushed in the pan. In case you might just be wondering what I’m talking about Maya is the female equivalent of Satan who is a **** lout, and who plays around deceiving anyone that ignores the Truth which has been ingrained in our mind and heart since our youth. In fact anything that is Divine, noble, good and of inestimable worth Maya will try to turn it around into a thing seeming of much less birth. She thus plays around with our emotions causing one to doubt and fear where the reality of a situation would be to have faith and some cheer. Her main battle is waged within a vulnerable human heart and mind especially when an individual is undergoing difficulties of any kind. She is also the one who arouses anger, jealousy, lust, greed and pride, being full of all those traits herself and more she projects them outside. We must try and be aware of the extent of her subtle delusion and escape any entanglement in the net of her worldly illusion; that so many people are now caught up in without their real knowing not realising that Love and Truth are the things most worth showing. ______________________________

** A new poetry posting site from God's own country, Kerala in India Poetry dates all the way back to the beginnings of Humanity. People have always been questioning nature, and the day-to-day existence of themselves and other humans love, death, survival, war, injustice, and the universe are all examples of things that have been questioned by men and woman since the roots of human existence. Whether in nursery rhyme, ballad, jingle, rhyme, anthem, or music, people have found poetry to be an outlet for expressing these questions, sensations, and experiences People often associate it with strict rhyming patterns, complicated vocabulary, hidden iconic meanings, and difficult rhythmical conventions. Poetry is even taught in school to be an intricate, complicated, inexplicable puzzle. True, poetry is difficult. Sure, it can be harder to understand than prose. However, that is only because sometimes it is involved with your inescapable complexities and uncertainties of your existence. In this era when the soul wants to go on a spree, imagination and creativity are all merged to serve and let you fulfill your wish to express. The pen, mightier than the sword, is free and can conquer hearts all over the world. So here is a site which allows unity in diversity and considers not cultural and racial barriers. It welcomes professionals and amateurs equally as poetry believe not in prejudice. Human beings are free to write their feelings and emotions. We therefore invite here people from all over the world to celebrate under the ipoetree. Feel at home here under the shade of this tree which pines to have as fruits your poems. Williamsji Maveli (Williams George Maveli) is an enthusiastic and solid writer. He is a sincere, resourceful and diligent in his poetic work. He is very well connected and networked within the literary community and is willing to take up projects even in his tight schedules. His writings reflect the amount of research on the current events that has gone into it along with his knowledge and expertise in the field. However, Williamsji’s many poems are simple to read, interpret, and understand. His latest book, titled “ARAMVIRALTHUMBATHU…” (On the tip of the sixth finger), is now published and released by H & C Books,Trichur, Kerala in India, which is a collection of lyrics. If anyone is interested, please email to [email protected] or write to WILLIAMSJI MAVELI PO BOX 3 ANGAMALY ERNAKULAM DISTRICT, KERALA - INDIA **
