left my phone unlocked on the taxi’s back seat, won't be the last time called it a few times finally, the driver picked up he had a fare immediately after mine, and was now headed way downtown, and would call later when fate returned him nearer my office and so it came to pass, very shortly thereafter, we met on the street, he rolled down  the window and with the greatest smile of pleasure, as if he had won the lottery beaming, handed me my phone I had two $20's to cover any expense he might have incurred, neatly folded in my hand   and offered it right up, right away; but the driver repeatedly pushed my hand away as I insisted, saying: *"No sir, no no, not necessary! Allah sent me a fare that took me soon back close to you, so,   no loss of time did I suffer, so your offer is kindly unnecessary!"* to which I replied, *"exactly! Allah sent you to me so I could reward you!"* and with an equally, beaming smile I continued, *"our ride and meeting today, together was pre-ordained it was* Inshallah!" ^ something he could not dispute... or my knowledge thereof and it’s proper pronouncement, nor his amazement, to disguise!   we parted ways    each believing,    each receiving, a heavenly check plus, each, credited with a mitzvah^^ on our respective trip logs, our humanly divine balance sheets, kept by the single supreme taxi dispatcher

Municipal Gum was written by Oodjeroo Noonecaal. Municipal Gum is about the changes in society and the tendency of people to want to control everything. Oodjeroo uses various techniques to convey this idea. At the beginning of the poem Oodjeroo is addressing the tree. This immediately creates empathy for both the tree and her people. By the last line she has emphasised this with the pronoun “us” to show that they suffer a similar fate. This poem expresses how life in Australia has changes especially for Aboriginal people. In the first half of the poem Oodjeroo is talking about how life was for her and others. It explores the changes in society and the displacement of the Aboriginal people from their land. “Whose head hung…Its hopelessness”, the author uses this as further re-iteration of the immorality of the situation and by the use of analogy comparing the tree to her people to further emphasise the shame and lack control of that the Europeans have inflicted upon her and the environment. Oodjeroo uses extended metaphor technique in the very first line of the poem ‘Hard bitumen around your feet’. This means that the gumtree has been placed in the city scape where it is suppressed and not allowed to spread out and be unique in its own way. This is clear and immanently direct link to the pain and suffering endured by the Aborigines post European settlement. Oodjeroo uses vivid language to present these ideas. For example the use of the word castrated is very effective. The connotation of the word is very demeaning. With castration often comes a sense of a loss of pride and power. The word castration is symbolic of how Oodjeroo feels the European have treated Aboriginal people and the environment. Castration also refers to the fact that what is done is done. Nothing can undo what they did and the damaged they have caused. Other symbolism includes the title “Municipal Gum”, municipal meaning community, implies that the gumtree belongs to the community. One of the vast differences between European and Aboriginal law is that Aboriginal people did not believe in the ownership of land or of animals and plants. Municipal Gum is a reference to the Europeans assumptions that everything is theirs to own and control. The rhetorical question, “O fellow citizen, What have they done to us?” is the conclusion of the implications that have been made throughout the poem. Oodjeroo, is advocating for her people and all things wronged by the controlling behaviour of the Europeans. Rhetorical questions are used to provoke thought and to stimulate a pre-determined response. “What have they done to us?” They have “castrated, broken… strapped and buckled” and ultimately changed things to a point that they cannot be fixed. In conclusion, Municipal Gum is a poem about the constrictions and change that the European invaders forced upon the Aboriginal community and the environment she believes that the Europeans have deemed themselves ever powerful and practice their power in a manner that is immoral.

a (the) woman’s body (pretty pleasing) is my reciprocal her waist is my happy place her neck is my doorway the rest is best when she is mirror accessorizing, preening, **** upon first rising, tallying the gains and the losses unaware of my watching, never satisfied she, tho she is 98% unadmitting contented, as she shifts her weight, from knee to knee extended alternating with slow delicacy for the pleasure is trebled for her imagine image reverberates throughout the house for ever(y) mirror is pre-positioned, accidentally angled just so, lol, her image transported from living room to dining alcove all the way to the kitchen’s bleacher seats she doesn’t know and asks why I’m grinning, answer is no confessionary, no telling I’m swelling and sinning eyes scheming-dreaming of her reciprocity she smiles and says   “good morning bad boy” maybe she does know but you won’t tell her, we, you and me, are pretty pleasing she is 1/me she is won over me

Your perception of me pre-existed, you saw black and you felt danger, you saw my skin and with it painted a personality from the prejudice of your mind. You don’t know me, yet you assume that I am just like every other dark skinned man out there. So that is why I feel angry when you cram yourself in the corner of elevators, if you could only realize I am the one who is truly backed into a corner, provoked by your ignorance, until I become what you painted me. With your judging eyes, cautious smiles, and nervous actions you made me this way when in the beginning I was just me. Now after all you have done, and all I have done, I’m just trying to be me again. I just want to be me.

Prejudice & Ignorance are Synonymous
On my skin I wear the bands of shielded sun. Commitment to the heart makes this skin colour run. With one liberal hand, I tear down these branches being hung, to shower in yellowed leaf confetti. These forest roots ran like hair line skull fractures, under canopies blooming red from the sunlight rapture and now these trees leave their taller brothers to fall as ashes, with ivy on my ankles, stifling hope up to my chin. Living memories, my forest sheltered, scrambled for home; small pretty beasts, unrefined, breathing caricatures with bones. Screaming they beg for attention, inattentive to this situation as a whole. Our own view is all we can consider. This house of cards built on paper-cuts, from the trees before. I'm now growing wiser to my winter freeze and your summer thaw. I need all of these things I hate about me, and they can never be ignored; a psychological pre-disposition, the only one I can afford.

Deforestation of sunbeams
Your promises come out as pre-splintered words, already having a tarnish. And yet I am hopeful, always, that I may be able to pick them up, rub them with my shirtsleeve just so, and see the gleam of a true promise. But no matter how I try, how tenderly I handle the pieces of your intentions, they always crumble in my fingers, confetti litter on the floor.

Doctor, Doctor give me the news
Quote#1- Seventy-five years. That's how much time you get if you're lucky. Seventy-five years. Seventy-five Winters. Seventy-five Springtimes. Seventy-five Summers. And Seventy-five Autumns. When you look at it like that, it's not a lot of time, is it? Don't waste them. Get your head out of the rat race and forget about the superficial things that pre-occupy your existence and get back to what's important now. Right Now. This very second. And I'm not saying, drop everything and let the world come to a grinding halt. I'm saying that you could become a seeker. You could be loving more. You could be taking some chances. You could be living more. You could be spending more time with your family. You could be getting in touch with the part of you that lives instead of fears; the part of you that loves instead of hates; the part of you that recognizes the humanity in all of us. And I tell you, That's where you're fortunate.. Quote #2- Your good is Better and your better is Blessed!...

Holy man movie ( quotes by eddie murphy playing character named G)
The world is small even heaven isn't big but an uncreated Word is, an expression of love and promise! The tale of the beginning the tale of the end without the ending. Soon God said it 'Qun' be bang it couldn't be bigger indeed. Everything small and big the complete creations panache came to be so big! The body is small the soul came in the front and every soul big banged in one go. All heard the same Word it was only one that sets the tone for the first to the last so sweet it took everyone’s heart! The death wouldn’t touch the soul that already died but couldn’t die. Revived there and then instantly, hearing the 'Qun' the uncreated melody! Crooned up even through the dead-end surged up to the other side of the black hole. Like a waxing Moon passed over, crossing the asleep body in the shadow, yet in the making! Unable to resist it, the first big bang didn’t happen amidst the material entity not in the star, milky way or in the galaxy. Adam was yet to be in the body the physical ear was yet to hear it! Unlike the tuned in abyss soul there that harks and the clouds rise and rain only to revert back to the sea showering the shallow terraqueous body. He said ‘Qun’ again and the first physical big bang on the matter takes place in Fathima’s joint interlacing her live soul and pre-design body. It cuts through the irrational pi in between the soul and body so that gel in melody! With pure love without a condition that shall keep up perpetuating the body! Nature that was yet to be, gets a mirror in its entirety and bangs big hearing an echo of ‘Qun’ be, says the Almighty it comes to be and shall perish only to be an eternal body!

I know the pain you feel is deep, your want from life is simple peace. And though I cannot guarantee, please listen closely, as I speak. Presently you stroll alone, searching for a hand to hold. You feel your sorrow in your bones, in harshest sun, you still feel cold. Pre - dawn, however, is darkest night that must be followed by morning light. I pray you won't give up the fight, the universe will set things right. I know at times, it seems unclear that happiness is always near. But wholly I believe my dear, someday soon, you'll find some cheer.

Message for a Broken Friend
On whether technology has influenced the seeming rise in mental health issues: The concept of technology as separate than Nature is impossible to pin down, but to say that a lifetime of social pressures, advertising, television, and processed and genetically altered foodstuffs would not affect what the brain is used to, and what is was designed to do, is a non sequitur. Certainly an entirely separate set of influences also had negative consequences in the brains' of pre-man, but these were not of his own making, as he still lived in an organic environment, and therefore wasn't a part of the "feedback loop" we have going on with humans becoming the products of a man-made environment (one of the only things that sets us apart from most the animal kingdom). Either way, whatever you're doing you're getting better at it, so with the increase in time spent on the web and watching TV we are increasingly better at watching other people - being passive, non-accountable, constantly comparative and self-obsessed, impotent in light of the mass of information constantly flooding towards you - which the brain was not originally intended for. This seems obvious. So the fact that some people have things like crippling anxiety and OCD, or develop anti-social disorders and the like, seems like a logical result produced by a system (the brain) presented with new and inorganic conditions. On top of that, being a non-douche is naturally and evolutionarily based because it increases the likelihood that others will want to chilll'n'stuff and help you when you need it, but when transposed onto a crowded, fast-paced modernity it twists into something like flattery and competition to appear the most altruistic.

We perpetuate heartbreak culture, teaching girls the man who holds her loves her despite the bruises, or it was her fault; she looked older. We fetishes shoulders, prize youth from the young in return for pre-chewed gum, swallowing down the same tired ideals from those who still wield them like flags, waving their patriotism on poles of bone before a throne of medieval ******** They chant mantras with beer stained breath about how 'our' country 'bested' the rest, but what about the brutality? The blood split on foreign soil in return for prehistoric oil? Our land is deemed pure so long as the violence on our hands never reaches our shores, but the ocean is red and staining our sands. How can you have pride in a country who's sole identity is based off having the worlds largest navy? Congratulations. You bombed your way through countless continents, collecting cultures to gather dust on pedestals and alters We sin on Sundays, drink till we're ****** then wave at the seven deadly's (they don't apply to us here). We teach preschoolers nationalism before they can walk, indoctrinate our children before they can talk. George killed the dragon. Hood gave to the poor. we all jumped on the bandwagon before we realised the princess had no choice and the rich still ruled. There was no voice in the tale for those whose wail could be ignored. What about those without lines in the script? Those kicked to the curb, then kicked from it? Our pavements have no room for nonconformists, they're tailored to for same mind, same mindless wanderer, squandering on the lasted polyesters even though that mouth on the street hasn't eaten in over a week. 'God save the Queen' from the vermin; the homeless have been tossed out of the trash. Why help them when you could save your cash by turning a blind? After all, out of sight, out of mind. Welcome to England, we hope you like what you find Because we’re not changing it.

you ‘why’ her. While she is thrilled & happily beside you, Telling you when she’s up to something new. Your pre-existing notion of setting a “ya” for her limits, Persistent "no" to her wishes, She grows up to know that, if she got to do something new She got to fight over the, 5 Ws & 1 H! Mama should I trust the Government? Men in charge, With suits and ties. Mama, do they know whats best? or are they selling pre-packed lies. Mama should i get a job? sell my soul to the money train. Mama is it true in fact? man can't live of soil and rain? Mama why do i feel sad? kept cramped within the city walls. Mama how do i go on? When all arounds me crumbles, falls.

They slither around cob webs and hide in the crook of my elbow attached to me like a child clinging to his mother on the first day of Pre-K hideous and scowling but then beautiful and glowing either way I keep it pressed to my chest i breathe in the putrid smell but I am now used to the scent it purrs and snuggles closer and I don't pull away

the demons of a bipolar mind
Feel empty in your post apocalyptic City of Angels, Where not even your pets are real! An electric android, a sheep or a frog, The whir-flutter of micro-electrical wings of a butterfly. Good, and so you ought. Now grab the handles of your empathy box, And in a shared virtual hallucination – Feel: empathy, depression, pain, delusion and despair, The outré myriad gifts of consciousness. Billions of discombobulated and disconnected wrecks: Adam's sons; Eve's daughters, And among them simulations too, Fakes! androids! A phony circuit of implanted semi-conscious memories, A hive of neural malaise! Welcome to our world; know how dead inside I am. You, yes, you: Need a pet to make you more complete? Maybe you can afford A Fake Fakir Flake like me who looks like Jude Law, Sounds like Richard Burton, And silently romances you like Rudolph Valentino. Come and stick what’s left of your mind, In here, In hair, Hear her: har, har, har… A box of lies... A voice, Mercer's, With texture from an age you neither lived in nor dared in: Al Jerry's, a TV actor, Droning on in pre-selected tones. The real thing, the men, the women, the children - their animals - Made in the wild, wild desert, In the green pulsing savannah, On the open crusted sea; Now too, washed, choked, and drained, Too many spliced and diced mutations, Iterating your image: The thing that was my heart, My Child, now its imitation.

*Fake Fakir Flake*
Threaded brows and polished nails, Pouting lips and ruffled skirts. Doing it slow, with a Magic Mike look-alike. Hosting shows for the richest of the slums. Wearing glittering rocks,  buying Vuittons. Stolen dollars, well spent before their time inside.

Pre-Prison Party
Prejudice Is the scourge Of mankind. We can Hate A person Before we talk to them. That is in no way Right. It is in every way Wrong. I want a different Type Of prejudice. I want to pre-judge Everyone As beautiful Lovely Redeemed Forgiven And I want to love them Before I even speak to them Or hear them speak. Before I know their name. Or who they are. My very own Prejudice.

Prejudice
Even if I get hate messages saying imma dumb geek, My favorite thing to do in Rainbow 6 is spawn peek. I choose not to reinforce any freakin' walls, Cause I'm the best on my team and pre-fire the halls. They call me sweaty boi cause all I play is Ela, But hey man I got news for ya--you're a noob lil' fella. If ya boi be attackin', ya know I be using ash, No one can hit me when I use that 3 speed dash. I breach the wall and throw some stuns, I run on in and fire my guns. At the end of every round I end up with an ace, My stats have basically broke the R6 database. So yeah you can just call me wuhbzz, or just god for short, Cause I'm the best you'll ever see, T don't need any retorts B)

Rainbow Six: Siege
Did you know that if you don't stretch in the correct way, you might end up thwarting the entire purpose of your workout and suffer unwanted injuries? Doing pre-workout stretches thoroughly will determine whether you are benefiting from your workout or whether it's worsening your muscle tear. Here are the major stretching crimes that you should never commit. Not doing a proper warm-up According to gym instructors worldwide, this is the most commonly committed crimes in any gym. A warm-up is a must before any kind of workout — cardio or weights — and must ideally last at least 12-15 minutes. Assuming that stretching is a warm-up Stretching and warming up is not the same. You need to warm up first, before you are ready to stretch. A slow jog or brisk walking on the treadmill is a good warm-up. Rushing through your stretching exercises Stretching should be for the entire body. You cannot skip any parts. Involve stretches that work your lower back, shoulders, calves, stomach, quads etc. You should not move from one stretch to the other in very quick succession because that may cause untoward injuries. Try to hold each stretch for 20 seconds. When you breathe deeply and hold the stretch, your muscles get trained to tolerate the maximum that your limbs can go to. Giving stretching a skip after a workout You have done an hour of strenuous exercise and now you just want to rush out of the gym; that is a huge mistake. Spend some time bending and stretching after your sweat session. Then, do a cool down before you leave the gym. Not stretching every day You need to be your flexible best always and that can only happen if you stretch daily, even on the days that you aren't gymming. This ensures that your gym days are more fruitful and that you make the most of them. Not breathing properly Breathing right is a very important aspect of stretching. Breathe naturally while you inhale through your nose, expand your rib cage and upper abdomen as you fill in your lungs. When exhaling, breathe out through your mouth, preferably making an audible sound. This relaxes you. While stretching, you need to breathe out when you are exerting, that is, when you are actually contracting your muscles. Doing static stretches Never stand still and do stretches that work only one muscle. You should rather do stretches that work a group of muscles — like a lunge that stretches your upper hamstring muscle, your ankles and also your glutes. Ignoring pain while stretching When you are in the middle of a stretch and you feel pain, stop immediately and consult an expert. Your stretch should make you feel a gentle pull only, not immense pain. If you are hurting, you are doing it wrong. Rest a few days and then go back to working out under a qualified trainer.Read more here:www.marieaustralia.com/formal-dresses

The past It's always on my mind The grassy backyard I grew up in This and that-memories of Halloween, rabbits, fall, you. All the things that pass in time. I pick up this notion that One may recall what happened to Them when they were a young kid. The balloons touching the ceiling of My pre-school, the quiet time when We supposedly slept but never did. Like the color yellow, how I loved it, The '89 earthquake, being shocked by it. Songs in Kindergarten. Art, pictures, music. Summer camp, exploring the wild, love, light, And wind. I remember my brother And I playing tag as the sun went Down in the first house I moved in. Running along the fields in the day, Swimming, or memories of the Tumbleweeds performance, Being In the play. All of the times I would always Watch the sun on the swing as it rose In the morning. I remember the vast Wheat fields, a sense of calm quiet, As if there were no place more peaceful. Climbing my favorite pine tree in my back yard. But one thing I remember more than ever Was being on a field of my own. The sky is filled with clouds always Floating off like they Were from an endless world of tranquility, This warm sun, this was and-I forever remember It to be-my one true home. But that is another story...
