"popin" poems
Today I decided to go to my crib. I then invited my homies to bid that Lamar is goin to bring his kid. So while I'll be chillin here popin some lids, I noticed none of my homies have come to my crib, not even Lamar and his kid. So I tried actin all cool, until I saw a small red pool. I soon found myself a fool by following that pool. I found two brothers who were smothered in red. One was dead, and conceived a decapitated head. It was Lamar who was stained red. The otha brotha seemed to be a kid. I said, "Why would you do somethin like this." He said, "you will never find the otha bodies I hid." I soon found my homies did make it to my crib, Every single one of them were hung by the head. They were all there except for Lamar's kid.

Chillin in The Crib
Shoppin wiv Albert. I met my uncle Albert, down at Asda, in aisle three; he got there in a Mazda, jus' a smidgen after me, said he'd traversed Sainsburys, Tesco Liddle n the Spar, but not one o' them flogged Caviar Truffles or Foie gras. He sidled past the pork pies streaky bacon turkey thighs a headin for the french fries n forsaken knock down buys, shimmied 'round the ankle biters; expectant mums to be, popin pills for bloated ills in the haberdashery.

"- A bloke named Albert -"
Popin with a Buttery crime Greasy and oily as slime A crime wave to steal ingredients throughout A mouthwatering motion Across town in Poppintown, Popcorn Man and his Hitchmen are planning a precise plot Yet, the Police will have no choice in liking or not Within the Popcorn Clister Company, the Popcorn Man and his Hitchmen are attemptintg to steal all the production resources needed for the biggest crime wave of them all The Popcorn Man’s quest was to steal the Crown Jewels of Great Britain at the Popin Mueum But their plan was foiled by Batman and Robin They confronted Popcorn Man and his Hitchmen on the spot as they had figured out their plot A fight for justice broke out Robin hit one of the hitchmen with a *** of hot oil in the face Batman and Robin with all in between being Bam, Pow and Kaboom But something was going to happen soon Suddenly, Batman and Robin were caught by surprise and didn’t realize They were caught in a trap in all buttered up Popcorn How will Batman and Robin escape? Will Popcorn Man get away with his outrageous cape? Immediately, Batman pulls out of his utility belt an ingredient that causes everything to melt Batman and Robin managed to escape They must rush before it’s too late It’s a mission to put Popcorn Man in jail with a popping finish Popcorn Man is caught in the act, and Batman and Robin turn the tables on his hitchmen Batman throws hot butter on the floor, and the Hitchmen just slide right into large cage This causes Popcorn Man to respond in rage Popcorn man wanted to take venegeance, but Batman was too clever Batman pushed Popcorn Man into a Large Popcorn popping Machine and Kenneled out A crime wave solved It was the Cape Crusader who was involved.

Del's dilemma.
By: Cedric McClester, Copyright (c) 2017 Am I dating myself With these words out my mouth? See, I remember a time When we flashed the peace sign And called one another Sister and brother Seems we’ve gone sour On acquiring black power And black on black crime Is the new paradigm When we look in the mirror It becomes much more clearer That we hate what we see Although that shouldn’t be Remember freedom marches Before the golden arches Then ****** entered in And we start popin’ our skin Before we shot it straight into our veins Which probably explains Why we regressed Long before the present opioid mess It was ****** first, But then it got worst So let me take you back To the era of crack When a nickel or dime Could trigger a crime And what really hurt you Is the women who lost their virtue But I’m not absolving the men Who’d engage in all kinds of sin I remember gangster rap And how that set the trap Which brought the stress and strife From tryna live that gangster life Then the East Coast West Coast war That didn’t exist before Remember when Biggie and Tupac were friends? Instead of how their story ends They’ire a classic group today But I remember when NWA Used to pull out all stops When they sang **** the cops And chronicled their lives Called their girlfriends and their wives All kinds of ******* and ****** Then would dance down on all fours Now let me bring you up to date Would it be wrong for me to state? When it was our problem alone It was the prisons we were shown There was little sympathy don’t cha see When it  was just you and me Who said they had a problem There were few out there to solve ‘em But opioids are everywhere And it’s a disease now, so I hear That crosses all socio-economic lines Now there are many telltale signs It’s now called an opioid disorder Past the inner city border And the word is harm reduction Instead of out and out destruction Cedric McClester, Copyright © 2017.  All rights reserved.
