Found Poem: Success in Today's Global Economy
I have had two opportunites to meet Muhammad Ali, once in Oklahoma City(1972) while working for KWTV Channel-9, and the second time in 1975,working for WAVE-TV Channel-3, Louisville, Kentucky, which is his hometown. On each occasion he was in town for some type of benefit appearance. At Channel 3, the sports director was Ed Kallay, who was to do the interview, and who just happened to be Ali's mentor when Ali was much younger and involved with "Golden Gloves", a youth boxing organization. I was a 'director' in the production dept. and it was my job to set up and direct the cameras, etc., during the taping. He was a fascinating man, eloquent, extremely intelligent, charismatic, approachable, with a great sense of humor. When I introduced myself, he looked at me and said,"I've met you before, in Oklahoma City." Needless to say, "I was stunned!" During the 'pre-taping' conversation, the three of us were having a cup of coffee. I made a comment on the size of his hands. I placed my right hand flat against his left, thumb to thumb, finger to finger.. He curled his fingers over mine, nearly hiding them. I sure wouldn't want to get hit by him. He was, admittingly, also a 'bit' of a 'self-promoter.' During that conversation, he made the following comment: "A few weeks before a fight, I start shooting my mouth off, make a lot of people mad, but come fight night they really lay it down, (then took his thumb and swiped it across the open palm of his other hand, simulating the money bets being placed with the Vegas bookies.) let the 'show' begin!" And, did it ever!! He was also a great humanitarian, donating to various charities, youth organizations, and never forgetting his roots. A remarkable man! God Bless You, Muhammad Ali! richard riddle: 06-05-2016

Sleep and wakefulness blur Listeless longings begin to stir Hearts twist into dire messes right or wrong? anyone's guesses Sickening ache pulls my chest cavity in again No breath, no relief from this sin and pain Cant be me Can't have you, Can't be free Can't be you Kisses and soul hugs on the winds Casting flesh aside he wins Only the ****** live free of this shadow To live this life till the next is hallow Ill bide my time in this makeshift hell For a love that only the best story tellers tell The one that goes on forever Some can part but no thing can sever Ours is of the endless stars Countless opportunites to prove our hearts. A love never cold Never old - Forever young.

Never Never love
She is one            unused to expressing sadness             used to burying her treasures             to sewing up the prize within her "not acceptable" the girlhood message         Well it is time to let it wash over every pore lest it turn into          a quiet tsunami time to       allow it to rise from deep dark        corners of water to give permission to simply let             it happen   Here it comes: rivulets of sadness streams of pain flow out like a river to cleanse the mud and silt opportunites created       for healing currents to flood the river banks with sweet abundance once again Now precious stones and wildflowers are gently revealed; It is time to let all those dark hidden jewels be coaxed up and kissed, one by one by precious one by the sun like deep sea jellyfish who are called by the light to adorn ocean's surface and show off   the vibrancy of iridescent rainbow colors years hidden away yet always actually there

Colors Rising Up
Look in his eyes.. The demon eyes are hidden behind his every charming smiles You are the demon in my head Confused.. This pure heart in the beginning What has it turned into? Will my innocence be ruined one day by listening to this demon every seconds... keep talking in my head telling me evils unimaginable thoughts.. whispering sweet nothings... sheer lust... false promises... hates, revenge, lies.. The demon.. keeps looking for chances every opportunites are counted to conquer gullible heart entirely and crush it ... and break it.. the demon keeps bragging... while I weep in my sleep.. he is laughing out loud!!! While deleting my name... One down.. more to come..

Demon...
Depression can be dark And the darkness is an illusion It can seem as if it is never ending Stop you from seeing all the light around you As if there is no hope at the end of your tunnel As if no hope can be found anywhere Ignoring all the opportunites around you Depression is a blindfold Pressed on to your eyes Depression is a whisper Saying the world wants you to die Depression is a lie Depression is an illusion And i pray that you stay a live long enough To see that

Depression is an illusion
In another life I was a wolf Running around in Cold Deserted Empty Hostile places Ready to take down whoever or whatever stood in the way of my survival Living by myself Hunting by myself Counting on my skills to survive Because I am fierce I am strong I am a wolf Untouchable Mezmerizing Mysterious Dangerous I am not gentle nor am I happy I only have one goal And I work toward it everyday of my life Not resting for one second because they count on me To be strong To come back home at dawn To be invincible I am a wolf And I have this hunting instinct but also this possessive instinct I need them to strive and it will only happen if I take care of them Everyday I offer them what they need to become strong To become fierce To become like their mother Invincible. They don't know the fear I experience, or the constant guard up They know what I choose to show them and they are gullible They are small They are fragile And I need to put up a strong front because they will never grow up They will never live If I don't take care of them. I am a wolf And I feed my dreams everyday I hunt opportunites down, I put up a strong front I reassure them everything will be fine Because they need to hear it Because no matter how dangerous life is for dreams They have a strong wolf to hold on to Maybe… even… they might end up turning into reality Because dreams have only one wish For the wolf to turn into a human For the human to make them come true.
