"obey" poems
There's no place to suffer, no going away. It's dark in here all of my days. No smiling lights, no happy surprise. Only this disguise, of constant lies. I know they bother them, my sad eyes. They can't bear to see, they want me to hide. Just stay empty inside, so they won't feel down. Still one by one, they'll all turn around. They won't ever stay, or test their extent of pain. They only obey their impulse to stray far away. They'll desert me to ache in this dark hole they can’t take, where I get no relief not even in sleep. So I guess save yourself I’ll taint that light you keep. I'll burden your soul, til you can't take anymore. Then I'll drain you dry before I kiss you goodbye. And you'll never know when it's all done, I'll still be empty but you'll be gone.

Empty
Awakens not my wolf-man to the moon For that it shines a silver discus full, For he may rise when clouds the thickest dull The round moon’s lustre, or when the clock strikes noon. One sorceress alone doth have the pow’r T’arouse the beast, and he doth her obey; And from her side the beast doth never stray,— So loveth him the witch and the witching hour. Yet, by my troth, the wolf-man hath no love For her and hers which greater is than mine: By daylight, blackest night, or moony shine, My love doth neither wax nor wane nor rove. However, unlike the love the beast doth keep, My love can’t wake, for it doth never sleep.

I want to take your attention and send in a direction that takes you away and changes you mindset for the rest of the day the thoughts alone leaving you in disarray getting you hot your ***** simmer the longer the thoughts saute looking at the clock as the seconds slowly tick away imagining my fingers as they slowly strip away the folds of your clothes right down to your lingerie slowly I impose, as I take the long way watching you implode, got me thinking you want to play fingers linger up your thighs as they park valet triggers trigger your insides, and your body will obey these thoughts I portray, in a portrait way got your body speaking languages, how ever they may convey I read every single word elaborately; until you are my favorite essay

Daydream
He smiles so bright like he has teeth of gold. Projecting the reflections of his own inceptions. I'm done grieving the words that once killed the inner me. Verbally abusive was the past that didn't last. He shattered my hope like splintered and shattered glass. As far as the moon is to the sun is he to me. I can picture his face but to me he's faceless. His voice is like the echo of a stranger. He salts his words with flatter, it doesn't matter, they are tasteless. His speech is drenched in hypocritical lyricals. Transmissions of emphatic subliminals transformed him into an emotional criminal. If people would obey the limitations of their naive believes. Maybe they would know that he calls me once a year...

Whatever you do, keep smiling. Be nice to everyone and stand up for your rights. There are many paths to the top of the mountain but few of them are on the map. Keep running, never give up, and watch out for the seriously weird. Avoid psychopaths, if you can recognize them, be polite to witches and warlocks, eschew cannibals, beware of the hippopotamus in heat, don’t drink the second bottle when dancing the Funky Chicken, and only massage someone without pimples or hairy legs. Never give up and keep smiling. It's a hard life, it's a beautiful world, life's a ***** it's great to be alive, life is nasty, brutish and short, don’t give up and keep smiling. Everyone is a guru but ignorance is everywhere, and don't mix hallucinogens with depressants. If someone tells you that they're honest, treat them with the greatest suspicion. Live to the limits, we're only alive once, and that's just as well, because imagine if people you didn't like were immortal. Keep smiling, never give up, always hawk to windward, and never leave your underpants or ******* behind. Everyone's equal but only the strong survive, especially when they take from the weak because what you seize is what you get. The meek shall inherit the earth, but the earth that they inherit will be of poor quality with no mineral deposits. Party lots, work hard, never give up, and keep smiling. Don't work so hard you don't enjoy yourself, remember that the bird is on the wing, then it falls off its perch and becomes a miserable pile of feathers and feet. The fast lane is the best lane but it's very smooth and slippery and there are no road rules. Watch out for lawyers. Seriously. They put the devil in the details while their hand is in your wallet. Everything comes to you if only you can wait, but this takes too long. Clean your teeth, obey authority, except for arrogant ******** and don't forget that love and pleasure are most important, despite what anybody else says. You look at me and you frown in jealousy. Yeah, you secretly know I have swag. Pants a little low, black and red shirt that says “Sit down and learn from the Master,” and a matching hat that states what you already know- “FRESH” You taste the bitterness of your words as you whisper lies to my back. Yeah, you secretly know I don’t care. Pants a little low, red and yellow shirt that says “My swoosh is bigger than yours” and a matching hat of who you think I resemble- Superman You hear the high pitched hissing that I’m doing well and hope that I fail. Yeah, you secretly know I’ll succeed. Pants a little low, black and blue shirt that says “Just Did It” and a matching hat that reminds you of what you need to do- “OBEY” You touch my strong shaped shoulders with yours and utter no apology. Yeah, you’re secretly freaking out with excitement. Pants a little low, blue and red shirt that says “Don’t Bro Me If You Don’t Know Me” and a matching hat with the best known bickering buddies- Tom and Jerry You smell my confidence in the aroma of chocolate axe and you pinch your nose. Yeah, you’re secretly going to buy it later. Pants a little low, black and white shirt that says “Don’t sweat my swag” and a matching hat that proclaims my feelings for you- “I <3 Haters” and under the brim it says why- “MOTIVATION”

Ode to Haters
The form in which we live our lives Breeds in the midst of demon hives. For dogs do bark in senseless fright At shadows lurking in the night, And souls shiver at that unseen; Cathartic reasons not to dream. Voices whisper ideas, faux truths, That knowledge has no valid use. And when we hear, we do obey The voice that blocks the light of day. Lamplight dances against cave walls And childlike wonder slowly falls. Pavlov shakes his head in sadness, For we, indeed, are his madness. And Plato weeps within his cage For all his truths leave him in rage. Is all that we can ever see Vague words that tell us not to be?

we write because we are told we write because we are cold so why write poetry? is it to obey is it to simply misbehave is it due today is it more than what we say if not why do you write poetry? because I can & because I am we are made to feel we are made to speak some people are quiet and others are bleak words are expressive and alive but some words are best left to die

silent poet society
I Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come. Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead, Put crêpe bows round the white necks of the public doves, Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves. He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong. The stars are not wanted now: put out every one; Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun; Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood. For nothing now can ever come to any good. II O the valley in the summer where I and my John Beside the deep river would walk on and on While the flowers at our feet and the birds up above Argued so sweetly on reciprocal love, And I leaned on his shoulder; 'O Johnny, let's play': But he frowned like thunder and he went away. O that Friday near Christmas as I well recall When we went to the Charity Matinee Ball, The floor was so smooth and the band was so loud And Johnny so handsome I felt so proud; 'Squeeze me tighter, dear Johnny, let's dance till it's day': But he frowned like thunder and he went away. Shall I ever forget at the Grand Opera When music poured out of each wonderful star? Diamonds and pearls they hung dazzling down Over each silver and golden silk gown; 'O John I'm in heaven,' I whispered to say: But he frowned like thunder and he went away. O but he was fair as a garden in flower, As slender and tall as the great Eiffel Tower, When the waltz throbbed out on the long promenade O his eyes and his smile they went straight to my heart; 'O marry me, Johnny, I'll love and obey': But he frowned like thunder and he went away. O last night I dreamed of you, Johnny, my lover, You'd the sun on one arm and the moon on the other, The sea it was blue and the grass it was green, Every star rattled a round tambourine; Ten thousand miles deep in a pit there I lay: But you frowned like thunder and you went away.

Love me, use me, Never let me go. Quench this unbearable thirst, this fire in my soul. ... Use me, hate me, ravage me, destroy me, As long as in the end you promise to hold me in your arms and love me. ... Grab my neck and pull my hair only keens and moans will be gotten from there. ... Stroke me like a harp, pluck me like a live wire string. Tighten me up, and snap me so I scream. ... Fill me, tempt me, push me, pull me. Throw me to the bed and make me sing ... Hold me down and shatter me, Pick me apart, and rebuild me made just for you. ... You met me a cracked photo frame empty and useless, Now fixed, filled full with only your image. ... Please don't leave me I promise to obey! Hold me apart so my pieces don't stray, Here in you arms Sir forever I will stay. ...

Submissive Soul
3/5/2014 Decisions, Directions, Conflicts, Connections. Who's to say I know best? Everyday is just a test. To move or to stay. To breathe or decay. To love or abate. To rebel or obey. To commit or to stray. Every kiss begins with K, but then you factor in fate. I lead a life of ambition, with no room for indecision. But I just don't know what's next. All I do is try my best. I can't complain or compare, The results would be unfair. I have lots, and others little, yet life, still gets fickle. I have little family and fewer friends, who stay until the end? I'm not worried or sad. I just wish that I had: stayed, prayed, paid, or given away. You live and you learn. You decide and get burned, but thus is life. Everything happens for a reason. We'll see what happens next season. Time. Time to pick. Time to choose. Time to stick. No time to lose. Compare. Contrast. Pro vs Con. "Decisions, decisions." I knew all along.

Decisions
We talked about fun A night of one and one Two adults out dating Not a lady-in-waiting. Two people holding hands, We didn’t have any plans Not saying words like never And always and forever. It’s an unwritten verbal contract With just the one signature. The expectancy of longevity Is more than a bit premature. It is important to recognize it When it’s all about fun and games. It keeps temperature from rising And avoids the calling of names. Then it all got turned around And quite suddenly I found There were rules for me to obey Like staying out too late in the day And things I had to do with you If I wanted to demonstrate I was true. It was no longer important to you It was not enough just loving you. It’s an unwritten verbal contract With just the one signature. The expectancy of longevity Is more than a bit premature. I am a prisoner in your heart When did my sentence start? How long will I have to serve? How did you get the nerve To change a delightful love affair Into something that would scare? Sorry, I have to call a halt You know it’s all your fault. It is important to recognize it When it’s all about fun and games. It keeps temperature from rising And avoids the calling of names. We only had a few short dates We barely made it to third base And yet the thing is totally shattered. You’re out looking at china patterns. There were no promises ever made. I do not mean to be throwing shade But this is not the thing I agreed upon Whatever we once had is now gone. It’s an unwritten verbal contract With just the one signature. The expectancy of longevity Is more than a bit premature. It is important to recognize it When it’s all about fun and games. It keeps temperature from rising And avoids the calling of names.

I bet I could stretch Like you've never seen before With the crook of my finger And a wink, let the games begin You want to struggle My little **** toy? Ah ah ah, let's tie these hands Behind your back Don't get any ideas Pet Obey me, lie on your belly Crush your head into the pillow Cringe and squirm, please Let me just, strap this on Not listening, hm? I have other things Leather, that will leave marks On your tender, innocent flesh Let my fingers coil Make it harder to breathe Force you down By a pull of your hair I'm going to be an animal And you will be the prey I will feast on you I will nibble you Bite you into submission Pinch and squeeze Smack and tease Say please I will go on Long after you thought To say no, until All you want is More, more, more I will chew through you I will dominate you I dare you to struggle My little **** toy

Dear God, I heard so much about you Until it is burning me in my heart I want to tell you how I feel, but I don’t know where to start. They say that you are the answer To the way I feel inside And once I am in you, I will Have something to be my guide I picked up the bible that Had collected dust on the shelf I decided to read it and find out for myself. I read about how they nailed your Precious body to the cross, And the reason for this; was to Save that which was lost. Tears poured from my eyes as Joy overtook my soul I found a lot out about you that I was never told. I read about Job and All that he went through And the three Hebrew boys That had all faith in you I just had to write you Jesus And let you know how I feel No matter what I am told; In my heart I believe you are real. As long as I have your spirit, I will never be alone You told me if I hold on, You would give me a new home. I am taking you at your word Because it means a lot to me The day you died on Calvary, It was to set me free. Thank you for bringing me out of the world And giving me a brand new life I promise to keep your commandments And do that which is right I promise to teach my children To obey every law And not let a day go by Without you being in their thoughts I have to go now Jesus And share you with someone else As much as I want to, I can’t keep you to myself. I want to thank you for saving me, And being my friend I thank you for your love, And your grace unto the end. Love Your Precious, Precious Child

Touching you in a way That makes you look a way, And say, Naughty things, good girls Like you, Shouldn't say. Me touching you in a way, Making you, Feel a certain type of way. Foreplay, We've been playing all day. Obey, Its better that way. Our touch, can touch, the both of us both, in a selfish way.

SONNET TRIBUTE: ANDY BANKS
Yank myself out of bed Peel the film of sleep from 'round my head It's 4:00 AM And all the world is dead. It's 4:00 AM and all the world is dead. From the streets every man has fled. But in hours it again shall be Brimming with potential; energy set free. I assemble my appearance. Staring into the mirror, I say to myself: "One last time. "One final tour." The door is open, before it I stand To face morning's faint chill Surrounded by paling blue. There! The first bird's trill. The air is sweet And free of smog. The faintest fog Is draped on the trees. The empty street beckons And freely I obey. I have things I need to do Before the commencement of the day. I pass the playground on the corner, Where I wasted time as a child. Where many a battle was fought And we had adventures in the wild. Past the playground and to my left There is the river bank Where I went fishing with my father And my friends and I made our mothers mad: Where we lit our little fires And we had our first drinks. Where we shared our first joint And came to talk and think. Our school is down the way. We all can safely say It's the place where we first learned Classes and books have less to say than the real world. We became: Artists. Athletes. Academics. Our achievements Are scrawled upon The stone walls That lined that same river. A little further on, And there's the little store Where I kissed my first fleeting love Just outside the door. I keep walking, I keep walking, Until I reach the shore. I put my back against a rock And rest on that sandy floor. The life that I'll soon be leaving Lies behind me asleep While I watch the sun lazily rise Over the mysterious, unexplored deep. I built myself in this town And it built me as well. But I cannot stay much longer: In a few hours I will bid it farewell. Will I ever make it back? Will I ever return To trace the scrawlings by the riverbank With bare fingers full of nostalgia? Nothing at all is sure. Therefore I must take this last chance To make my final tour.

Sensually surrenders to me Utter submission set free Bonded to my will Made to satisfy my thrill In dominance I must live Satisfaction she will give Slave to my carnal desire Innocent to my burning fire Obey the punishment above Naked for our darkest love

462: Submission
Be my muse tonight, my love.   Inspire me in my dreams. In poetry, I'll think of you where starlight always gleams. As Morning Glories catch the sun, I'll capture you in rhyme. My heart will sing your praises while you make my spirit climb. The raindrops are a mockery that try to match my tears, which fall like diamonds on my cheeks each time our parting nears. Your eyes like pools of amber often take my breath away. Your lips demand attention and my ardor doth obey. Be my muse tonight, my love.   Ensnare me with a kiss. Enslaved my heart shall ever be a prisoner of your bliss.

Be My Muse
WIFE and servant are the same, But only differ in the name : For when that fatal knot is ty'd, Which nothing, nothing can divide : When she the word obey has said, And man by law supreme has made, Then all that's kind is laid aside, And nothing left but state and pride : Fierce as an eastern prince he grows, And all his innate rigour shows : Then but to look, to laugh, or speak, Will the nuptial contract break. Like mutes, she signs alone must make, And never any freedom take : But still be govern'd by a nod, And fear her husband as a God : Him still must serve, him still obey, And nothing act, and nothing say, But what her haughty lord thinks fit, Who with the power, has all the wit. Then shun, oh ! shun that wretched state, And all the fawning flatt'rers hate : Value yourselves, and men despise : You must be proud, if you'll be wise.

To the Ladies.
I am not just a person in a uniform, I am a Soldier. Every time I arise,  I obey; Each time she calls, I step up To defend her freedom, To restore her home of peace I arise,  I obey, I soldier on. Into the forest of her terrors I charge, not without fear for that which is mine but with love and strength and faith, I March. Defending the labour of heroes past, I march; fighting for dreams of her children bright- the  future she deserves. I arise, I obey, I soldier on. In the army I serve Nigeria,  my Country with heart, might and spine. Though a thousand times I have fallen, bits and pieces of me, lost to her darkness, still I obey, knowing it may be my last. I arise, leaving my family and friends behind. I obey your call of duty. My service and loyalty I pack on with my combat gear, that you may live to see yet another day, to feel yet another ray of light on your face. I am not just a person in a uniform. I am your Soldier,  the Nigerian Soldier, Ambushed and slaughtered in 40s, 70s and 100 for lack of resources. Bless me O Nigeria as I arise and obey Send me to your enemies with arsenals and might to match the fire in my eyes. As opposed to the massacres of me, let the headlines read of our gallant victory For my victory is yours over those who threaten our unity. I am not just a person in a uniform. I am your Soldier Do not let my bravery dissipate to stupidity For I rise,  I obey,  I soldier on still. ©Belema .S.  Ekine ©belemascribbles
