"nymph" poems
Hidden within the earthy depth only emerges with time only dances in tangent now slips out with the butterflies.   Now the nightingales singing aloud! One has spoken out, one blew a kiss out off the dark seed. Ah, what then broke through? Up from the sky the blue-nymph   dropped down on the scene! One that hid blurring that's image on the mirror is that now been seen? Pouring rain singing down to primulas paints it with all the colours of the wind now the Spring picked up her paintbrush. Rain some colour blow a kiss of the flower paint it out of the mirror!

Paint it out of the Mirror
*i always imagine you so very graceful through the masochists ordeal a god form of supplication seeing your face in love fascinated by shimmering kisses that hurt, yet please wet lips and sharp teeth   glamors that excite cold blade licks dragged across tender bellies naval buttocks and flexed toes stinging then radiating outwards wounds become lilies mouth ******* tremulous weeping kisses ecstatic cruelties blood glitter sacrifice your supplication love pangs i'm shaking apart over you your countenance a cascading dream moved to tears of adoration your  limitless yielding like surrenders caress an infinite communion with fragile limbs silky wrapped spools innerness of desire veiled in a shroud a faltering star that glistens crimson nymph of purgation ash volcanic cells en-flamed with tongues that bite subsumed in scented vapors a confection of **** and *** waves embrace ineffable shores passed the discontinuity of life   I have the most immense feeling of love for you am i not the saint death   quietly following you through life's labyrinth innocuous   waiting humbly in the wings i am all ache for you a vice of kisses a brief encounter that eats your sight and senses ushering you to immortal freedom a swooning garland of fire that enlivens the body electric a mist of molecules your tears intoxicate i am new life with in you budding embryo that consumes its mother for nourishment and saturates like dew drops   as it echoes through oblivion*

Echoes of Oblivion
1 Backwater nymph, queen of serpentine black tresses flaunting its coconut oil gleam; envy of  leggy girls from the Western ghat mountains, and lissome  maidens from the plains, who can never eat as much fish, even if they wish. Wearing hibiscus flowers, on coiffure like hood of a king cobra, your coral lips  silently speak of hot peppery kisses, waiting for me at shaded corners. Your sultry body in me arouses desires, that could only be whispered in your ears. 2 On a coconut lagoon when we met, for the first time and spoke, non stop, as if we knew each other life long, I heard music in your words. Oh! in the tongue you spoke, I heard the cadence of a nightingale ecstatic, on its wings above the clouds, love had prompted us to fly above the storms. Your  gleaming coal black eyes, like silver hooks, tug at my heart strings, that makes music, only I can hear, you are a free flying lark, above Kerala's lush coconut coast, that extends from sea shore to the mountains. 3 **When we relished steaming brown rice, mixed with clarified butter, with spicy tuna curry, tasting so dainty, cooked in bubbling sweet coconut milk, my eyes like two crazy butterflies circled your face, a blossomed Champak*. Mashed cassava and roasted squid, melted on our tongues, in a perfect culinary language any one would understand without effort. 4 Your lips had cinnamon scent, spice land's boons, when we kissed we touched heaven of scents and spicy tastes. When our eyes fell on each other, near the ancient synagogue, the hay days of which is over, a long jasmine garland coiling your hair,     marked you different, from the  the ladies of your neighborhood,                                           surrounding you. How well you did pretend that you have never seen my face before! You have mastered love's cunning, and all the wily tricks to cheat the enemies of our fiery love my Freudian mind perfectly understood. Just imagine the brouhaha we would invite, when we elope, in the last boat, to Alappuzha, stealthily at midnight.*

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT MATLOOB BOKHARI When the first time I met you You were like a nymph from heaven I looked into your eyes And forgot everything else Then I remembered I loved you many times before, Before coming here, I had promised You are all I ever wanted

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
She was born of a forest And rests her heart   Shallow in pooled dreams Dripping further than her tears Falling to soft earth. She eats rosed lilies And pickled cattails All while Her footsteps leave no absence known As her lithe nymph body melts into foliage. And her arms permanently reach Into the void of All unknowable things. Grasping at gossamer threads, Like thoughts that can't be spun together.

I Saw Her
Water lilies, libidinous lover boys, on the sly circles her naked body, impertinently while she unaware of this, swim and play in her water-crazy, noisy country girl self in this enclosure of ***** pines wildly in bloom, She's happy for being shielded from prying looks of rowdy village boys, adept in disrobing her with their eyes    Enamored, the lilies, white, blue and purple inebriated all, by drinking the nubile beauty limitless all along, under the  level of water and above, breached all the reserves, ahamelessly sevoured her saucy proximity til she left when the dusk, shed saffron all over.         Yet in her innocence she would think, "Poor darlings, how much did they suffer, as I splashed and broke the calm of the pond all evening"

A nymph among water lilies
Royalty She dwells in the sea- green palace of her father The mermaid swam alone on blustery days The seed of the water god Neptune and a river nymph Her beauty blind the sun and his morning rays On days of boredom She swam with the white dolphins Riding high on heaving rolling waves Other times with Omura's whales dive deep Or play in a red coral reef bay Tickling blue ***** that walked on the sandy bottom Exploring the dark octopus caves Floating often with the deadly jellyfish Keeping her scaled tail very still Or wiggling through the raging currents of the ocean With the graceful ribbon eels The day passed passed She became weary Came time to rest her head Returned to the flowing green kelp palace And did sleep on a starfish bed All Rights Reserved @Tammy M Darby August 2013. The Mermaid
rich with the depth and intensity of oxidized blood, a plushness caresses my bare skin. my fingers tracing against the grain of the fabric slowly seducing as the canvas becomes duo chrome the tip of my finger a nymph cunning and artful the strokes offering an insatiable thirst yet so in control finally it succumbs turning a tide of new color permeating from where my touch once was a culmination of sorts leaving you enamored.

*She's like deliquescent caramel, the cool side of a pillow         to lay your weary head, subtleties of springtime &      warmth in wintertide, whispering hope upon lush           Zephyrus pipe dreams,   mellifluous nymph with wings                  of a butterfly warrior, softly determined,     unfailingly true-hearted,      whilst relentlessly ferocious   Wise, yet sometimes struts        blindly in the light,      as dulcet tones of a cello's         melodious marmalade          in sentiment's tender fancy, she's beauty, charm,          knowledge, poetry,                utter strength,                & humane weaknesses, she's twisted and ethereal,            her aura sublimely captivating      you may covet her body,             you'll never possess her soul*

She's like deliquescent caramel
Maids, not to you my mind doth change; Men I defy, allure, estrange, Prostrate, make bond or free: Soft as the stream beneath the plane To you I sing my love's refrain; Between us is no thought of pain, Peril, satiety. Soon doth a lover's patience tire, But ye to manifold desire Can yield response, ye know When for long, museful days I pine, The presage at my heart divine; To you I never breathe a sign Of inward want or woe. When injuries my spirit bruise, Allaying virtue ye infuse With unobtrusive skill: And if care frets ye come to me As fresh as nymph from stream or tree, And with your soft vitality My weary ***** fill.

'Maids, not to you my mind doth change'
Water nymph, you are the gentle wind  Bursting the daisy, your eyes, are bells  Of blue echinacea spiriting the light— Echoing sound which water makes, ring The laureled forest leaves in cathedrals Newly sprung of pews, meadows, spark, The dance of bees, who trace your honey Scent in combs of ambrosia and sunshine. The miraculous waters are floored under  Your white, lily petals of feet, your nests Of hair are embracing tendrils of the wild  Grape, wine and sweet, long forgetfulness. Maid of the wood, daughter to the moon; Are you of Elysium or temptress of doom?

Maid of Moon and Glade
goodmorning the **** convinced me not to move the black bracers- killer whales wanting to dance but i stuff them with threads, knots of ebony and fishnets, so they hang over my body at night during my journeys. are they looking after me or are they after that red bead in my center? burning woodsmoke now, patchouli melt creamy- as venus sways one hip from the fire pits of aries she ends up on the other side: the dirt finger grove of the steady bull chanting "hold and touch and stay." goodmorning when has the sun glided his way, as if upon the hips of a sea nymph, across miles and angles of what was a dark night? keep your water, i am weaving. i am breathing every taste of it i am touching infinitely that center, so sought after, like the walls of palaces when tongue touches lip i am rubbing every color through me i am watching your scent drizzle gently all over my pools of skin. tend me like the earth, goodmorning string me like the grape vines bursting forth from soil.

Against the lavender of a Capricorn: less chubby at age fourteen than at eighteen, produced at the wrong time. Her stars are their least private in December, moths pick up ovaries and eggs from below her dress left behind from relationship number one. A lesbian curse, no offspring for her girlfriend was a Capricorn spirit too. A nymph who took ten seconds to leave though eight years to disappear: nurses say, “it just hurts for a moment,” but needles ruin your whole ******* week. But out of two Capricorn women, one is sure to get pregnant. The first’s not heard of powdered milk, nor would she have any, calcium-deficient so others break her bones. She has a cabinet of amber orbs held with sickly insects, a million years old and brown hair in like tiny ***** of yarn. Some parts of a person can belong to another. This was not their cornflower-eyes but an ability to bear child from straight *** female parts tangled like herbs and stars.

III Slim adolescence that a nymph has stripped, Peleus on Thetis stares. Her limbs are delicate as an eyelid, Love has blinded him with tears; But Thetis' belly listens. Down the mountain walls From where pan's cavern is Intolerable music falls. Foul goat-head, brutal arm appear, Belly, shoulder, *** Flash fishlike; nymphs and satyrs Copulate in the foam.

Slim adolescence that a nymph has stripped,
*Getting out from the waves She walked away to the rice bran haze As the summer heat drove the sands mad I knew what she had gone for. She would hunt it like a child any day A few seashells if came her way My skin burning and eyes dust borne Moments all to herself she desired alone. On the distant shoreline when she was a speck Stirred me a tremor then a rumbling quake What if so happens she is gone too far Turned a sea nymph to return never! The tides were falling weaving a lull The sun slanted on the wings of gull I rose up to find sand prints of her trail She bloomed like a hope in her handful of shell!*

inside....
I live by the water, This lake is my home, My nymph is aquatic, It doesn’t like to roam, My legs are weak and fragile, Walking I can’t do, But my wings are powerful, They carry me across the blue, High in the trees I glide, My length cuts through the air, I speed above the picnickers, They don’t know I’m there, I’m a Yellow-winged Darter, Sympetrum flaveolum to my friends, Watch me as I whizz on by, Down the river-bend.

The Dragonfly
If all the world and love were young, And truth in every shepherd’s tongue, These pretty pleasures might me move To live with thee and be thy love. Time drives the flocks from field to fold When rivers rage and rocks grow cold, And Philomel becometh dumb; The rest complains of cares to come. The flowers do fade, and wanton fields To wayward winter reckoning yields; A honey tongue, a heart of gall, Is fancy’s spring, but sorrow’s fall. The gowns, thy shoes, thy beds of roses, Thy cap, thy kirtle, and thy posies Soon break, soon wither, soon forgotten,— In folly ripe, in reason rotten. Thy belt of straw and ivy buds, Thy coral clasps and amber studs, All these in me no means can move To come to thee and be thy love. But could youth last and love still breed, Had joys no date nor age no need, Then these delights my mind might move To live with thee and be thy love.

The Nymph’s Reply To The Shepherd
The great dialectic remains between fate and free will. I'm prepared to defend the notion that fate has a bigger hand Without seeing into the future we are unable to change it The forms textures chiaroscuros and chromes are painted into each of us as we descend into the world soul and discover we are not merely posing cameos   directed by each other's projections All souls are evocations, layer upon layer of archetypes   each of them prayers and yogas all irreducible fluctious desires voluptuous nymph or curmudgeon hero or ***** As depth accumulates we give each thing a name we live and unfurl destiny both good and evil This fate already forged into our souls. Only in destinies weaving finality,  even beyond the grave  are we melted down like snow in divine rays of effulgent light, and pure spirit

Fate and Will
He loves his soca and His carnival. He calypsos Like only Dionysus could. His power is like the Nymph's - the Oceanid daughter that Kept Odysseus from Penelope - only stronger. So mesmerising: his smile Bursts with a contagious Warmth, like the sun Over his island homeland. A gold cross hangs from a chain Around his dark, dark neck. The smell of his skin spices the air around him, Making my mouth salivate. He tastes like Mayan chocolate; Slightly bitter and tinged with chilli. The scars on his shoulders and back Feel like a ripe nectarine againt my tongue. I want to bite down and feel the juices Run. But. He's a good Christian boy. This island boy is an enigma. Tall and willowy Like a rapier, and Strong and beautiful. I wonder if this island boy Would sheath his faith In my worship, For just one, cool, island night.

. Kalypso sports within the waves luring sailors to watery graves but if they make it to her isle there they may tarry for a while. Food and wine are given a'plenty, they are rocked into lust so gently, Nymph, Maidens, Bacchanalian revelry lead the sailors into darkest devilry. *** and sin are openly displayed, a salacious procession, ***** parade, And all men their vices expressed seek the comfort of Kalypso's breast, her hospitality soothes, allays their fears as she slowly steals away their years. © Pagan Paul (05/12/18)

Puissant piquant and predatory And observant from afar He looks down on your slumber Like a door that's left ajar Plying with his manly vice A reckless male visage A rogue of masculine device Seeks entrance to your mind He saunters with a swagger A macho savvy moxie To personify virility's incarnate His dream zone's metier He sifts your ****** entourage In search of sprawls recumbence To tantalize climactic fervor With lambent photic scenes Grasping at your revelries He spies the wanton lust With swanky strut appealing Your primal urge to sate He leaves undone resistance With innate resilience seized The lavish wayward implications Of unrequited livid deeds Like passion's lurid lecheries An insatiable torrid sooth You wrestle with his adamance Your  carnal ecstasies revealed You pounce on his exsertion You splay your agile form wriggling like a supple nymph You accept his blatant storm You writhe in your abandon In a euphoric supplication His machismo ****** enveloping Your wildest latent needs With no regrets or reticence you awaken from this dream To find yourself alone again Like it had never been

Incubus
On his mighty mountain Jove reigned with his queen Never questioned Never held in check Such riches never seen! With mount Olympus as his home Far above the throng He could do just as he pleased No, he was never wrong! Then a fair nymph maiden Caught Jove's roving eye Hera was out shopping He saw the maid go by... Making his advances He found that he was spurned! No matter how he postured Her head was never turned! "Oh Jupiter!" She laughed aloud "You bloated moon, you knave! I'd rather love a he-goat For all the gifts you gave! You have no tact. No honor. You plurocratic fool! You pick your teeth with Poor men's bones Using wealth as tool! Go on then! Arrest me! Force me... if you dare... But I know Hera's servants The one's who do her hair!" Jupiter was stymied He knew just what this meant. Hera'd throw a fit for sure! So he had to relent. But he cursed the nymph-maid With great poverty. But dissing him was such a joy She'd do the same for FREE! (C) SoulSurvivor
