"monarchical" poems
Let us awake from the decay of strategic costumes where the incestuous fragrance of madness permeates golden dreams of eclectic strokes. Bureaucratic self-enhancement nurtures docile manufacturers of laborious compliance, whilst social conscience plummets to depths of callous and entrepreneurial versatility. Enduring imitations of an unsatisfactory kind is like pairing mint fondant with rich and savoury gravy which is acquired with strategic dishonesty. Oh, negligent wakefulness – will we ever arise and discern those lobotomised representatives in this legislative brothel of excessive absurdity? Shake me at one minute to midnight in the House of Lords.

Monarchical Slumber
A vase can be beautiful, And can be filled with the ephemeral or the immortal. If I think of you as a vase; I think art nouveau, Willowy, beautiful, in a languorous setting, Among a cast of Greek characters Staged around a classic reflecting pool, It’s water stirred slightly by everlasting Considerations of life. The vase, tall, green, sinewy, Can halt anarchy in nature, As it sits resplendent, monarchical; That may be enough. But sleek ceramic fails to define. Oh, filled with garden beauty, that vase May win the contest of the day, But nature vigorously corrodes And the vase declines. Yet it can become more radiant, as its soul, Alive and growing, shows through. May you, best philosopher for you, Deny custom that leaves only emptiness. Let muscle ache from the pull of the oar, Feel the dog bite, Taste the chocolate that tightens the throat. Remember: the leaves of summer will be still; The undulant song of the cicadas Will rises and fall, rise and fall, As swarms of blackbirds wheel to that sound. These things, and the vase, Are all we know of life, and are all of life.

To my Daughter at Twenty-one
who was responsible for the queen's ultimate disappearance who took it upon themselves to seek her clearance over quite a length of time those of a regal pedigree have been unexpectedly vanished from the monarchical tree these culprits cannot be traced anywhere on the ground its as thought they are secreted beneath a shadowy mound and we aren't able to stem their anti regal sentiment which is ever hardening like a ten ton cube of cement exhibiting the crown's bloodline doth bring vaporization where there will be nowt more espying of a visitation danger is omnipresent and its peril aimed on any empress an unknown body of disfavour not requiring her impress

Butterfly of Virginality \ Spread thy wings, \ & soar. \ Endless night \ Endless day \ Simultaneously \ Entwined, \ Intertwined. \ Forces of Light, \ Forces of Darkness, \ Forces Unseen, \ Coalesce, \ Converge, \ Gather as one, \ For this \ Beauteous moment. \ That a caterpillar \ Might emerge from its chrysalis \ & not give up in the struggle to spread its monarchical wings to soar, \ Reaching heavensward \ Higher than it ever thought it could! \ Oh, But it could dream \ & a dream is more powerful than any words or \ Limitations imposed by reality. \ The Most High God blesses thee \ On this day, \ When you are set free \ From all that binds ye! \ You are set free \ To a fate \ That is much higher \ That is much airier, & much more ethereal than you could have ever imagined! \ To soar upon the Vernal winds \ & reach to \ ***** for \ The sempiternal Sun, \ —That is your \ journey, \ That is your \ path. \ Of all fathomed, \ Impossible, \ Yet now it is \ Through the thew, \ Through the sinew, \ Of \ The Spirit: \ Hallowed it is! \ ( —Se’ lah)

Butterfly of Virginality (II)
"And he created out of one man every nation of men, to dwell upon the entire surface of the earth, and he decreed the appointed times and set limits of the dwelling of man." (Acts 17: 26) (New World Translation Study Edition) When I look in the mirror, a doughty warrior, an oracle, an Olympian gazes back at me. The caramel-tinge of my skin tells of the colored pedigree from whence I came. Every ebony-tendril that bursts from my epidermis is as impregnable as the Sacred Lotus. The history of my Mind's Sky has been tried by the Ancient African Sun of my ancestors. It is my hope, that I have passed the trials decreed by the ordinances of the Moon & Sun. Moreover, the Arbiter of Fates, Jah, dawns upon our fleshly vessel at each twilight, assaying our entities. (Isaiah 60: 19, 20) (New World Translation Study Edition) So many intrepid souls have compassed me about. The Chalice of my Heart burgeons with esprit d' amour. The meaning of life is ne' er about intellect, is ne' er about achievement, is in part, about creativity; wholly, about Love. (John 13: 34, 35) (New World Translation Study Edition) For this reason, strength cascades upon me every moment as I witness the brilliance, the resilience of my beneficent matriarch, Stacy Amanda Foulke. In life, I have learned that being a person of color in America is not only a wonderful privilege, but a responsibility. Why? The afflictions brought upon this skin only make it glisten brighter after convalescence. Our people have suffered inordinately so, but this is conducive to cultivating surpassing empathy. Therefore, I believe that history, as begotten through the colored legacy, shall be one of ultimate victory. If and only if, we unfetter ourselves from the onerous burdens of the past, then Monarchical Wings shall burgeon from our Astral Chrysalis. "For though the tribulation is momentary and light, it works out for us a glory that is of more and more surpassing weight and is everlasting." (1st Corinthians 4: 17) (New World Translation Study Edition) Se' lah.

A March dusk blotted stale bodies; jet-black water ran thick with puerile inks and imparted abandon. Head shrouded in cobalt mist, night idled by a black pane that rang dull and flat. Backtracking rooks caught the vacant eye: threading a monarchical purple cloak to hoard the transient days.

We are living in a dictatorship, a tyrant is at large. The Aristocrats are clawing on to their wealth and privilage Ebenezer Scrooge pales in all spectrum The Peasants awakened in anguish, brews a tempestous whirlwind. Torches brought to life, roaring ******* flames of justice Torture’s a friendly foe, the time for lamenting has been extinguished.   Directing their stubby fingers, master of guile, stroking their overgrown stomach “Leech the Swines! Bury their bodies, all but their sham crown Garlands of heads, draped on my wall.” A source of warmth for the winter’s plight, A trophy triumphing the seeds of abeyance Desolating fate is sealed by this stern decree.   Free hand-reading; not requiring an oracle. “Am I not a benevolent King?” **** out the roots. One by one, **** out the roots of evil. For the root of all evil is good. The peasants thin and scrawny. Hunger, their morning advocate and evening lover- Lusting to sink their teeth in to Pride.   The Nobel robed in mulberry silk making love to a ********** pastry, birthed by a coinless ******* Ascended into the abyssal inner circle of Hell   Those armoured with royal blood adorned in leather costumes -vagrants cannot discriminate- slaughtered while Mercy slumbers. **** the aristocrats, for they are selfish! The abolishment of poverty, the bane of the Monarchical eradication   A diabolical scheme! Says the soulless estranged with peace.

Satire
Very few princesses grow to become queens "Theres something about you." That's what my father always told me. Not all queens are crowned An innate monarchical spirit dwells within them They can never step down I've always seen myself as just piece of the earth But as I've grown, I've learned to appreciate All that I am for my true worth I've come to see that life is self is filled with reflection So many imperfect wonders Yet we aim for the idea of utter perfection
