"militarized" poems
i’m so ******* weird
from the time i could talk
i could never get the language just right
since the first time i walked
been stumbling and awkwardly fumbling along
a slow learner is what they called me
in the back offices of the training institutions
the doctors and teachers didn’t know what to do
but my experience was as true as any without solutions
wish i could find the best words to remind me of you
keep your eye on the ball
or sing the tune to your own songs
you never get the balance right or wrong
life’s as short as it is twice as long
driving around in a teenage mind looking for something to prove
we would draw pictures in art class in high school
most of the kids would paint flowers or attempt portraits
i would draw intense war scenes prophesizing the end to come
with underground bunkers and a militarized fortress
to harbor the last remaining scraps of humanity and my sanity
i’m so weird
they called it an autism spectrum disorder
but i wonder if i’m actually possessed by a demon
a love demon dancing out on the border
between insanity and the truth and the divine
i’m so ******* weird
i especially am slow
stumbling and tumbling toward the light
always right, always wrong, i know
since the day that i was born i’ve always been a slow learner and a loon

There are clocks turning backwards
there are rights being lost,
you might think you’re unaffected
but things are worse than you thought.
For your wives and your daughters
are now property of the state;
they’ll be tracking their cycles
and they better not be late.
For your women are now watched
by the militarized state;
The old laws have been eradicated,
cause it’s freedom
the republican fundamentalists hate,
and like the Taliban, your freedoms they’re taking.
You better vote soon, before it’s too late,
cause your rights are disintegrating.
Come fathers and husbands
throughout the land
let’s give them an electoral beating
that they’ll understand
your vote is your voice
so please take a stand.
If the freedom of privacy's worth saving,
you better vote soon, before it’s too late,
cause your rights they’re eliminating.

All we have are rainy days,
all of our love is filled with pain,
all of our joy has been washed away,
and right before us is a stream of tears
a river cried out by you,
because of our tensions similar to the cold war
our cold fighting turn to hot
but then cools down and then were back,
to just spitting words that burn like a blazing fire
melts our ears like acid, and pierces our hearts like a spiraling arrow man,
these rainy days that we are in, this down pour and these hard winds,
our love is a battlefield we're at war and it hurts
and we spread our wings but we don't seem to soar,
this hurricane has been here for days, over our heads,
spinning us into a depression, its like a straight line that we just can't bend
but still we apply pressure, though you try your best to change
you're in love with your sin,
as that good feeling from something so wrong haunts you,
paws at you pleading like a puppy waiting,
purring like a cat in anticipation, knowing that you are just saying,
you won't do it.
but yet you still get caught up in its draft and go back
and just like that our temporary peace breaks
and our demilitarized feelings get militarized once more,
and as we draw our swords and pull out our guns,
we hit each other like atomic bombs and ruin our land of love,
or at least our little figment of how it seems to be,
and we war and war for what seems like no end,
with words and your fists, but I don't bite back,
not even when I should, cause you've done it so many times,
you still blow away my urging mind,
and this fantasy I have in my mind of how our love should be
I knew we were meant to be,
but this fantasy is dwindling
and I pray it don't, now a wish
as I out this fire that we have spread,
this wildfire which goes on and seems as if there is no end,
our rainy days sees some sun,
but can we stand the rainy days......
until the sun comes.

Bam! Bang!

There's a leg out in the street
There's an arm against my door
A head is rolling down the way

THE HONEST GENERATION!
THE MOST COMPASSIONATE OF ALL NATIONS!

come one, come all.
gather 'round, gather 'round the table.
you'll find your invitations—
corporations' coupons—packed
between stories of Indigenous
People, shot by militarized cops in riot gear.
Water Protectors defending the river
while a black snake rears to poison the well.
tear gas, rubber bullets, and concussion grenades
replace ragged blankets draped in smallpox.
a tradition rooted in genocide
upheld in frigid North Dakota.
no need to ponder
the lasting legacy
of a leader who campaigned
on "hope" and "change." a hypocrite
continuing a tradition of colonial
aggression, lying by omission.
just another facet
of his presidential profession.
so drown the news of a fascist's
election in gravy and eggnog,
viscous substances to gorge
yourselves on. Nazis vandalizing
black churches with swastikas
must've escaped your notice.
vacuous, preaching
that Jesus is the reason
for the season, but i think
your savior would flip
your Thanksgiving Table over.
flimsy pretenses of gratitude
discarded hours later, chasing deals
before your stomach could even settle.
your brand new 4K TV
cost you over $4K, but couldn't give you
a clearer picture. you continue to disregard
the smoke signs and headlines,
pursuing the material.
consume!

We are a generation,
Indeed, a nation,
Raised upon foreign warring.
Scapegoat aggravation.
Bushes and *****
Clamoring for horror and hoarding.
Conspiring against a population,
I watch through youthful aging.
With my childlike eyes, I see
The target they're blaming:
Afghan families having more
in common with me,
Working class American,
Than those transparent heirs
With the world's wealth and arrogance,
Ordering for the villagers' obliteration
Through boys from our nation.
We are a generation raised
On media sensation
Of militarized devastation;
Animal exploitation;
Technological manifestations
Providing privacy infiltration.
Material attainments;
Mental frustrations;
Fiat debt enslavement;
A nation entranced by
Senseless parading.
Tempting decadence and
Announcements with no evidence.
The September bounty of edifice
That fell with no hesitance
Still echo its unfounded,
Preemptive pretenses.
This murderous reign;
this senseless parade;
Advertisement cyclical
in their game of charades;
Dog on a chain;
Famine causing no pain.
Permissible opinions
To be solely maintained.
The damage, the waste,
The heinous race and class chase.
Oppression remains thoughtlessly dangerous,
As moral responsibility brings no attainments.
Chowing down on maimed millions
Bellowing from enslavement.
Fortunately, elder,
Rothschild, Rockefeller, or
Those above them whom
Remain blackened, faceless:
Resistance shall come
From all places, all ages.
Such as this generation of mine
Inheriting increasing complications,
With the type of America
You wish to keep in rotation.
I'll carry the flag containing
Your mistakes as a symbol,
To remind those behind me
What not to rekindle.
To the Boomer who stews
In your white collar suit,
Still refusing to shake
Your destructive pursuit,
Still asking me to lick
Off authority's boot:
Growing up in this nation,
With childhood innocence,
I grew increasingly aware
Of the land of such ignorance.
I had such thoughts since
Early adolescence,
I was not blind to larger lessons.
Only since supported by
Actual, factual supported confessions.
To the Boomer tied to his convictions,
Now will you see-
That isn't going to work
For us or for me.
I'll bring to this world
Whatever I please.
Which so happens to be
Truth, justice, and peace.

Though the chemical gas was a fable,
rebel terror we’ll arm and enable;
we will kick their Assad
with some help from Mossad
and create something TRULY unstable.
Little victims, all Syrian-bred
look pathetic: so small, nearly dead.
Lack of documentation
won’t dampen our nation;
from YouTube to bombing we’re led.
War-hawks pause for no burden of proof.
Show a whimpering child and then— **** !**
They, rush in, like a fool
using Trump as their tool.
He’s been militarized. What a goof.

What remains in the aftermath of love?
As streets are built without sidewalks
As neighborhoods no longer have use for streetlights
As parks and sunsets turn into myths
As the stories of lies and deceit become the only nursery rhymes we pass on
As *** becomes as mundane as eating bread
And ****** become larger and more frequent than church communions
As ***** become cheaper than blood
As faces become so interchangeable they're impossible to remember
And names turn into secrets
What remains?
When everywhere is no man's land
When childbearing is just a rare, yet escapable punishment from God
When children migrate in swarms between families like birds escaping winter
When love is just but a militarized weapon used for enslavement
When humanity is emancipated from their emotions
Shall we celebrate our independence by clearing our contacts list and changing numbers?
Shall we start each new year by picking a new stranger to stave off our hunger for the night
When we stone those who learned each other's middle names
When we lock away anyone greedy enough to keep someone to themselves
And the married are sent to live in the madhouse
When the war of love have ended
And no one's heart returns home
What remains?

Are the British braver than us?
That they police their streets with no firearms?
Or simply more humane & competent
That they feel no need to threaten to ****** their fellow citizens?
Failure to comply
With law and order
With our militarized police
Means you risk your life.
Even if you are collecting trash,
Even if you are sleeping,
Even if you are exercising inalienable rights.

Welcome to the militarized police state
Big military vehicles
Armored jeeps and tanks
U.N. troops and U.S. troops
Riot troops
Military men on megaphones
People being whisked away to FEMA camps
I'll be in the mountains
Hoping to survive on protein bars and water
To the globalists you have no rights!
They have ruined our nation

To take what does not belong to you is theft.
So why is there none left?
Why do you determine who gets what?
Why do you decided what hands are tied?
I was born as you were from the womb,
But you make earth my tomb.
You take the trees that help me breathe,
You cut them down as they grow,
and throw them into waste,
You use the textiles of the earth to replace good nature with a dead dictators face.
So you can breed war and hate and greed.
So that you may snub your nose at need to protect from the diseases that infect both I and you, to shield from the catastrophe of natural disaster these storms that destroy the crops we yield to feed the hungry, you ignore all of this, for monetization of earth and life, told from birth it is our god given right to pay taxes and follow rules, but guess what, not all of us are fools, to be used as pawns and tools, to become cannon fodder in the wars you wage on one another. I will not fight a fellow human being, I will not surcumb to these terrible things you expect me to accept, I will not be who you want me to be, an automaton to be used by the upper echelon. These are people, animals, all living things, connected, not to be attained.
Shall we continue to build towers that block out the skies, only to knock them out with the fatal powers of militarized warfare, or will there be a revolution? The solution starts with you and I. A choice to speak freely of freedom, a concept not granted or taken this life we are living in is not something we should participate in. Society is imploding on itself as the desparity grows between the wealthy classes and the starving masses the health of the earth dissipates, and seals the fate of it's inhabitants, and dependents, this greed, these wars, will leave no remnants of life.

**Revolution now absconded , buried in lies
Period heroes covered in bird **** , cold green copper effigies
D.C. wannabes , robots packin' protected heat , militarized police working the crime scenes , when agents of change patrol the pink
dogwood streets , martial law is thawing in their sink
A bottle of gin to cure the alcoholic
Sun setting pyre for the agnostics
Who's above little me
Who in the **** believes they're commanding

With everything provided for them by the desperate slaves !!
