"masses" poems
That workaholic lady who's always on call, keeping up with the market fall. That newly married lady with chunky red bangles, returning to her father's big castles. That person who's scared to get lapse, so stays active on the google maps. That person who swings like a kid at the back door, Or the one who perform calisthenics on an empty floor. That next door girl with a red lipstick, flicking her shinny hair & gossiping with her clique, That dreamer gazing outside the window, That overworked soul dozing on his elbow. That 21st century kid, listening to Eminem & playing video games. Or That 90’s kid, listening to Jenga Boys & playing outdoor games. That banker with a big fat stomach, filled with his beautiful wife’s love. That lady who eats like a thief, in her big fat bag hiding a beef. That old man who can’t stand Bombay's winding turns. That granny spotting & criticing  every fashion trends. That man who has Raju Rastogi’s concerns, thinking & chanting for earns & returns. Those kids who believe their job is to fill the voids in a battlefield, in the still crowd surpassing like electrons into a magnetic field. That lady sitting under cold seat like a glacial, than standing with 7kgs in a crowded central, & tryna stay sane listening to George Michael. That geek who switchs from Linkedin to Arjun Reddy, when the masses flee into the scenery. That trader crunching numbers so rapidly, when the stock prices go down hourly. That person on the last seat, diagressing from work & gazing around, soaking in her pashmina, with a career newfound.

Science says that there's a mathematical equation that explains everything in life. But I say that not even physics bears an explanation for...the guidelines of attraction. Our primal reactions are multiplied in...the highlights of passion. These laws of love that linger like a lanterns lost illumination... Like the campfire light on a clear night, leaves coals of culmination. Sweat beads lead to bare threads and bare bodies. And oh my, how bare bodies lead to imaginations running wild. Cold winds inspire warm kisses and close skin. Sincere actions aren't sins. Bodies wound in union, formed by light and tightly bound. Together, these twisted vines penetrate the hardest ground... Together, harmonic souls produce passionate sounds. Yet, still somehow, love gets lost more than love gets found. This equation is unending...like numbers off lips that kiss the air. Body language spoken...Our physical bonds parallel eternity and pi squared. And you know that every moment that we share is nothing short of...molecular love for the masses... Now held captive by gravity and magnetism... See, the last full moon marked retrograde...and if the moon affects the tide of the ocean...and our bodies are roughly 75% water...can we assume that this is the only body powerful enough to keep ours apart? This gravity... This pull... It's pulling me apart...so let me pull you closer, stop pushing me away! Hold on tight, dont let these planets drift away into a dark rift of decay. Let your love lap upon this solid stone like a river riffles smooth sandbars into hills of higher ground. Because baby, without your water on my beach... I'm nothing but a desert, dry and deserted.

Everyday something new A new vice to lure the masses The people eat it up Becoming more isolated Now they can't talk to a face Only if its on a screen A world connected, as it divides The information age is here We'll all lose each other Togetherness is life

*I woke up this morning and my name flashed on T.V. They said i blew up places , they said i killed masses . Men , women & children I murdered them all. Who am I ? I am a muslim and i am taking this fall. They used my name and spread the terror. I am not them , it surely is an error. We, muslims, are the holders of peace , we spread love. Why am I being  represented by their false actions. I am a person, with different notions. World will now brand me a terrorist. Don't judge me by their actions , I insist. I am not them, they pilfered my name. They inflicted libel , and my religion to defame . I have been robbed , robbed of my name. I am a muslim , human like you , all the same. My name has been robbed , my identity stolen I deprecate the terror and mourn for fallen. There are millions like me and humanity lies in our depths. But we are all victims of Identity Theft* ...............

The Identity Theft
Its a scam, its a scam, see the Crimson Gang deftly scamming them They by sleight have befuddled gullible masses Moral Compass Made them see wrong as right twisting their brains from the stem With deceitful guile they shepherded them all to the fools' campus Slander and fake News galore fed to vacant hungry masses scrum Knowledge is power the reprobates declares, do not let it pass We're the majority the bullies screams, knowing they're just scums Worthless charlatans who rob successes and **** without cutlass They take a foregone conclusion and coat it with fool's gold crumb A victim with no intention of going after an uninterested lass Dumb masses fed fake news fooled into harassing actions dumb A non-event becomes a show of the controlling might of our class Crimson gangs interpret a non-events from his deluded sad drum Creates a warped sick drama round a hapless victim for laughs Gives street theater actions to masses, these will oppose and numb Whilst poor victim subjected to 'voiding' madness wonders past The Crimson leaders laugh so much like pirates drinking *** Look how we manipulate the masses, they are so simple and crass With our devious twisting propaganda they eat out of our *** We simply use them to nail and crucify our victim to the cross

Together We Stand......
Have you seen the troubled youth these days? They're not very troubled at all. They create their own illness then spread it amongst the masses of degenerates. The symptoms consist of debauchery and disrespect. They yell to the crowd, "Look at me for I am broken." No. You are fixed...fixed onto the idea that one must be troubled to be different. Oh, have you seen the troubled youth of today? They're not so troubled after all.

Sarcastic Wonka.
From Alan Lomax to the commercial art and now the money machine. At the turn of the century; when sound recording 1st became available to the masses, recording a song was an opportunity for folk to reach out; and tell the world something up front and personal. It meant that people were able to put themselves on “The record” A way of leaving a permanent audio statement, an epitaph, an audio sound bite immortalising ~ life, mood, emotion captured and bottled for all eternity. (A medium that conveyed messages from artists and storytellers of all kinds) A recording was also a great addition to "The family album" something more tangible, a window to a real person, with a real life, a message and a point of view; a legacy, a blast from the past. Few people expected sound prints to be re-designed, homogenised, formulated, copied, repackaged and that art and the message would be played over and over again by new artists in the form of "cover music" or that the style of the messages would become secularized, seperated into distinctive groups, or constrained by an elite clique or commercial genre. Labelling and streamlining art & music mostly benefits the commercial art & music industry; and no longer the artists and creators. I've no problem with good business, or the multi-billion pound industrys that have gained commercial success. However the process of mass homogenisation, product synthesis, marketing, streamlining and then packaging fashion, sound and synthetic culture to sell a product, leaves very little room for creative people to just be creative. A medium originally open to many for self expression, a historical record, an archive, a voice, a personal message; Is now just a vehicle for advertising and perpetuating a genre of nonsense, so much so that there is now more white noise immortalised than messages. To re-cap ~ I Think that creativity and expressionism; like story telling conveys moods and messages from the present and past! Artists and musicians should have the opportunity to create and produce more information than they copy; thus creating a richer more colourful tapestry, whilst not devaluing the message of their predecessors! We wear this city on our feet Planting our roots with each step Our shadows cast shapes of ancient oak trees stretching out over old squares at daybreak We grow here with the spirit of buildings past, present and rising like a staircase to heaven in the distance, the plumes of white smoke from their rooftops as burnt offerings for incense, spires for steeples, the bundled masses of people moving beneath as the calloused soles of our feet pounding the pavement, Our congregation seated in reverant silence on the R-Line hissing to a stop Their hushed prayers filing out from within to bring the reclaimed sidewalks of Fayetville Street back to life to join this pilgramage They march downtown toward Capitol holding signs for disarmament They bar-hop through Glenwood toasting to deliverance They move in a blur of faces that become us, Rush at all hours through our veins Cross our hearts and keep us breathing, Moving wearing the city on our minds like the greyest pieces of their winter sky and the way it caps the peaks of Mount PNC, BB&T and Wells Fargo like hoodies over our heads We assume monk-like appearances in robes color-coded by season- from blue collar sweaters to cold hard sweat We'll wear their city until we're worn out and wet, We'll wear their dreams at night like streetlamps flickering on beneath wired telephone poles carrying conversations about each one as far south as Florida, fears unspoken, made visible on iron park benches too cold to sit on at this hour We'll keep walking and wear this city like backpacks over our shoulders under the watch of their heavens, the skyline a glowing testament of every step taken toward someplace higher.

You can quickly transform with a quiet resilience Remaining deeply grateful to be standing As feeling sorry for yourself, is merely an excuse To hold back and accomplish nothing Educated by the spirit of meaningful experience One can change and adapt in a flash Merely seeking out pity for the sake of affirmation Is buying an excuse to stand back You can call up the strength deep inside of you Overcome the struggles you face Stand up proudly, knowing you survived the battle Gladly take your rightful place You may appear weary and worn to the masses Yet deep within you have more fight Silently standing up for what you believe in Steadily on the edge of the right

My Frankenstein monster erects in the dense night a soliloquies of remedies traced on pasted wall paper It bids faster as the kites fly high above the Himalayan feeding respect to the sun to radiate its vector rays It whispers of this world a spice of colours and patterns a windy dainty silky road wrapped with satanic ribbons As the masses gather on the poles to dance the mayday festival the pagan gods shake the monster their gold merry as the cloud chills The bonfire embers and trembles the palates vanish in the ashy wind the crowds grow in bonded unity the monster smiles in rhymed terms

The Beltane Seducing My Frankenstein Monster
On the sewage puddles of Sabra and Shatila there you transferred masses of human beings worthy of respect from the world of the living to the world of the dead. Night after night. First they shot then they hung and finally slaughtered with knives. Terrified women rushed up from over the dust hills: "There they slaughter us in Shatila." A narrow tail of the new moon hung above the camps. Our soldiers illuminated the place with flares like daylight. "Back to the camps, March!" the soldier commanded the screaming women of Sabra and Shatila. He had orders to follow, And the children were already laid in the puddles of waste, their mouths open, at rest. No one will harm them. A baby can't be killed twice. And the tail of the moon filled out until it turned into a loaf of whole gold. Our dear sweet soldiers, asked nothing for themselves— how strong was their hunger to return home in peace. Translated from the original Hebrew by Karen Alkalay-Gut.

A Baby Can't Be Killed Twice
I knew I loved you since the fourth feather light forehead kiss. In your presence I am isolated in utopian bliss. An island overlooking glowing hydrogen masses of what looks like Pacific fires, or Polaris, or just you. Small suns floating in nautical blue, showered in Pearl Harbor reds and paper kamikaze sunset hues. My high sandcastle walls fall a million grains all over the beach and I am defenseless against the tide that is about to swallow me. I melt away, let my demons burn, open the gates, and let the little girl escape. I look at you and everything is made out of light. You make every day worth waking up to.

happy birthday
See them standing on the podium of promises Tickling us to wed them into power As we stand under the burning sun, sweaty as ever All ears to their flowered words of which they caress And powdered our minds with. They donate maggi, salt, wears and the root of all evil, To further blind our minds and instinct. Like goats following a hand with a palm fruit, We chased them with high hopes to the polls, Like Esau of old we repay their donation with our votes. Their desires were met, now in power At serious battle against their promises, Our faith getting lean, our hopes bleed in response to their policies. The opposition jubilant for the failure of the electorates. Soon, they awoke into reality, spur to abort incumbent reign. Some took to bombs, guns, cutlasses, few to the streets. The opposition soldiers are thugs, always hungry to **** The masses weapons are their mouth, placards, And solidarity songs, they walk and sing. They say when elephants fight the grasses suffer I wonder who are the elephants or the grasses indeed. A  place that suppose to be our home now a battle field Where everyone fights for self survival Forgetting the unborn, our toddlers, our heroes past. It is high time we talked and sack the thugs But who will moderate Who will faithfully give audience, who will sincerely talk? The elite, the elected seems like they are war ready They have well set up their political troops A war they won't stand to fight But escape through thinning air off our sight. In a molding  state Pigs dare to preach sanity In a world of questions, ignorance remain the worst cancer And the apex poverty. Let not fold our hands and live to die in this doom If your lips are scared, let your pen speak. Let not throw in the towel Until we justfully elapse the reign of the unwanted in one peace.

Bright, glowing rays slanting through naked branches. Crisp air and moving masses of formed metal. Kept beards, tattoos, rising wisps of coffee roast.

She's like a drama queen, Plays the 'blame game' like a loser, Fair minded as a bigot, Wages war like drones, As free as surveillance, As open as privatized prisons, As equal as feudalism, As rich as the beggar masses, Bankrupt as homeowners, Socialist as the military, Truthful, trustful as "NEWS," as propaganda, Pagan as the manufactured Goddess 'Columbia,' Christian as the stingy, Pious as a sinner, Wicked as securities, exchanges on 'Wall Street,' Insecure as an empire, Greedy as a fast food glutton, As brave as a fool, Warmongering as a chicken hawk politician, Machevellian as a coward, As rigged as the free market, As selfish as Capitalism, As tolerant as Islam, Beautiful as a clear cut forest, Charming as a strip mall, Forward thinking as chaos, Lawless as congress, United as a belligerent crowd, Compassionate as a swat team, Green as any petrochemical company, Organic as pollution, Deep as a strip mine  .  .  .   .  .  .

Similes for America
When I'd wake alone in bed at 4am Again To find you passed out on the couch Too wasted to notice the heart breaking in front of you I tried every day But you preferred synthetic hugs and to hide in a place where the expectations were low   Escapes and excuses more alluring than I could ever be Through tears I would plead 'Why don't you want to sleep with me!?' I shouldn't have taken it so personally But nobody saw me cry Especially not you Blind to my own tears Large doses of denial dished out A feast for the masses Perhaps the most powerful drug of them all My soul mate disappeared each day a little more Maybe today will be different Hope The beautiful motivator Maybe today It will be me that you choose Naively believing that you had control But then I woke alone in bed at 4am Again Manipulated and used

Wasted
Time apart makes all things New - a nervousness An excitement Needy and naive The memory of your touch Fades - but not the intensity Of my love Checking like clockwork The departures and arrivals Heart thumping My poor vision A true handicap Scanning the masses For the most familiar face In the world Of whom I know The span between my thumb and index Is the same as your chin to earlobe And my finger could trace the shape of your lips From memory alone. When my eyes Settle upon your face My hard heart beat Hits slow motion And stops - Everything runs through my mind But I think nothing at all Reach out. Kiss.

Reunited
The teacher stands before her detained class And from behind her authoritative podium She equates abortion to the holocaust A dangerous comparison in an educational garrison But the other children nodded their heads in agreement A benefit of having the ear of youth Is being able to infect it with your own toxic ideology What bacteria did this ear infection consist of? Conservatism? Religiosity? Chastity? The answer was depressingly simple I was the only one there unaware of Fox News I was a casualty of the confusion The confusion engendered By venom thoughts placing politic-colored glasses on the entrenched masses Entertainment Used to convey anger and hate Emotions worth conveying But not living in The intents and desires of their vulnerable receivers become an incongruous disaster What could I have done? Minds as still as the pharaohs heart We live in a society where we're all infantilized by one myth Good and evil Looking back on what I did do I didn't do much But I did do something I didn't nod my head like a ******** sycophant

Fox News
My easel, has been asleep for a while, like a whale on the lost deep seas finding a prey to victimise to sate the belly full. Your easel, sees in my eyes the robbers on the blink of an unruly end finding recognition in social media to favor ego to sate the belly full. Your easel, is a mellow fine lens Hands in line holding a gun set a trigger, to silence the crowds the doom in the public cruise trollers and vipers with wipers to sate the belly full What have we come to dear friend? we seek fame and lose our self to the shadows of the masses who denude our dignity to gain their sanity to sate the belly full What have we come to dear friend? in the spaces of the contours between dehumanised by the social media the medium of the century voice the armageddon of currency that sate to fill it's belly

Robbers (Art Poetry: Social media dehumanisation)
I am you, you are me There is no difference inside to see The color of your skin, hair or eyes Does not represent what’s inside. Physical traits come from the family tree They give roots, history and a sense of identity But inside we have the same blood, the same heart So when does prejudice begin to take part? Babies are born without preconception They feel love and comfort from their caregiver’s affection Their new eyes are blind to ignorance They see through a clear lense and don’t see difference As they develop, society gives them glasses, Their vision gets clouded by the opinions of the masses The lenses get darker as they grow They filter the world to see only colors they know Differences become obstacles, not celebrated. Leaders tell them who to respect and who should be hated. These biased views could remain for a lifetime And then they’re passed down to the next one in line. Opinions are essential, shared thoughts educate. But when they’re bigoted and hateful we cannot tolerate. Take those blinders off, take a look around. There’s so much joy in diversity to be found Don’t let the blindfold give such a narrow view Don’t be complacent and take what is given to you Rip off the filter, open your eyes Find connection, common experience, destroy the lies Revel in these connections, learn from one another We’re all trying to get through from one day to the other See through the skin, the hair, the accent To the core of the HUMAN BEING with love and respect.

Graffiti, Graffiti, Graffiti Being bled onto The landscapes between thighs Incarcerating women's wombs Justifying men's genes Foreigners appropriating Women's and men's sexualities Losing the power to be When changing our roles' long overdue Gendering our words and attitudes Man, who taught you to be a chauvinist!
