His love for her is so high
But she holds her heart tight
She doesn't want to fall hard
She's afraid of heights
His love for her, like the sun, it shines
Still, she covers her eyes
She doesn't want to get blind
His love for her is so deep
But she doesn't know how to swim
And she doesn't want to sink

I really did love you,
but you're a bookworm
and I was just another book you read
I really did love you,
but you have a sweet-tooth
and I was just another chocolate you ate
I really did love you,
but you love to play fire
and I was just another match you lit
I really did love you,
but you were a chain-smoker
and I was just another pack of cigarettes

She made her skin her canvas to draw on.
Her paintbrush is a blade.
The paint color is red.

I can't paint you anything
because the amazing images
in my head can't be drawn
by anybody's hands
Nor can I sing you a song
'Cause I think your golden voice
is much way bettter than mine
Nor can I play for you
'Cause my hands tremble
when my mind sends me
to the idea of you, watching me
Nor can I build you a beautiful house
And I guess I don't need one
'cause you are my home
But I can cook you dinner
Massage your head
and brush your hair
Hug you all day
when things are
just too much to bear
I'm not the best at everything,
but I can be very good to you.
