ay! pagkatahom sa akong nakita
usa ka bitoon nga mitanyag sakong kalangitan
sa iyang kasilaw, daw mura akog mabuta
ug sa iyang paglingi
ako kining gi-tutokan
daw hulagway sa usa ka anghel–
akong dughan murag ga–pitik pitik ug ga–sayaw sayaw sa kalipay;
ug didto nagsugod ang tanan.

Azukete; me o tojite
Mabuta ni kuchizukete
Itami o iyashimashou
Nemurinasai, yukkuri to
Ushinau kowasa wa dare mo onaji
Kanashimi, mayoi mo tsutsumikomu
Chikarazuyosa kanjitai
Arasou munashisa subete no hito
Kizukeba kagayaku hi wa noboru
Sono toki made inoru kara
