Hello old friend
peeking over dark horizons
& exposing those
ancient hiding places
My spirit rises with you
restless,
like the tide
I am homeless in my mind,
as safe sanity
slips
into your grip of
lunar lunacy
heralded in
by howling dogs
& ambulances
into the night
I love you over the ocean,
shimmering;
the white light
bed-spreading over me,
warming me &
my Cancerian mood
You will never be a blue moon to me,
sometimes
red, yellow, silver lined and occasionally,
eclipsing shades of black but
never blue
So big & bright
so full in the night
it's only a matter of time before
you're " Coca-Cola-ing"
across the sky
" Enjoy "
your space while you can

Beyond the horizon of
perfectly
polished smiles & finely crafted
lifestyles
brothers, mothers, sisters & fathers
passage time
untethered
lost
i can see them
everywhere,
( can they also see me ? )
ghost-ships
silently sailing past
reflecting
broken dreams & sunken hopes
treasure
from ship wreaked lives
stranded
in the graveyard
of childhood memories
seeking
beacons light
for safe harbour
searching
for safe anchorage

Around, around, & round you go
spinning round & round
your endless journey
never ending
your gravity
holds us down
The battles & quakes
the shallow graves
the hangings in the trees
the plagues & famines
the genocides & old age
the deadliest disease?
How much blood
old mother
spilled upon your *****
and all the bones
you laid to rest
help your flowers blossom?
From Earth we rise
and to you we fall
you can smell us from below
only those you lost to
space
can't help your garden grow
