A ball player and a thief Will likely be pregnant by age 16. Lives in the ghetto and is poor, Often identified as a ***** Runs fast and does drugs, Hangs around with gangsters and thugs. Has a gun or a friend with one. Speaks in slang, must be part of a gang. Mess with her, she'll pull a Sharkeisha on you. If you were to picture a person of any race, That fits the description that just took place. A baller and **** hmm... what race matches that? Yeah you're right, that person is probably black. Is fast, does drugs, and speaks with slang? Lemme guess, is he also in a gang? A young mother who is also poor? Bet she doesn't know who the dad is, what a ***** All these negative stereotypes associated with being black. Its disheartening, sicking and its really sad. And whats sadder is that if you are the opposite of all of that, You are often told that you're not really black. Does your skin colour change for going to Harvard? Will it change for speaking like an English scholar? Because I play hockey and not ball, does that make me white? So what if I'm the type of person to run away from a fight? You don't have to be irresponsible and rude to be considered black. It's your ethnic background that determines that. And to some people, all we are is the complexion of our face. Light, dark, somewhere in the middle, to some, the bad of a few defines our whole race. Does running away from a cop, and being black give someone grounds to shoot? Why is it that my skin color is what is most important to you? Is asking a question when getting arrested for no visible reason really resisting arrest? Does struggling to break free from restraints to catch my breath, give someone a reason to grab on tighter to strangle me to death? The actions of a few don't define the actions of a whole group. And this assumption that all black are thugs, thieves and liars has done clear damage to, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin and so many more. They didn't know it, but just by being black, they put their lives at risk when they stepped out their door. Don't you think it's gotten too far when we have to prove Black Lives Matter, or when we the saying of a movement is Hands Up, Don't Shoot. Should people have to be reminded that blacks are real people and that our lives matter  too? We are athletes and musicians. Lawyers and physicians. The leader of a nation. An anchorman of a news station. We don't all fit into that mold that is preset for us. You can and should expect great things of us. Because we don't have to be a **** or a baller to be considered black. We define what type of black person we are, we determine that.

Sun melted to pink, but Sky is still BLUE... Not everything turns GOLDEN before the end Only the HORIZON is colourful, Lemme see... Yeah, and for a long time sky is gonna be blue

Hey there Delilah, What's it like in your ****** I'm a thousand miles away, But girl, I smell that **** from China. Yes, I can. I've got a nice white mini-van, Lemme tie them hands. Hey there Delilah, Don't you worry about the distance, I will be there in a jiffy, Give this song another listen, I'm by your side, I came fast and now I'll slap your thighs, And cover your eyes. Oh, you've got some nice tiddies. Oh, I'll give you STD's. Oh, I'll tie you to a tree. Oh, I'll **** you till' you bleed. **** you till' you bleed. Hey there Delilah, You know my **** is getting hard, But just believe me, girl Someday I'll let you out of this here car, We'll have it good, I'll have your life, you'll have my wood, Just like you should. Hey there Delilah, I've got so much **** to say, Why write you ten thousand songs, When I could rub your **** all day, I'd rub it hard, From house, to school, to pool, to plane, to yard, I'll leave some scars. Oh, you've got some nice tiddies. Oh, I'll give you STD's. Oh, I'll tie you to a tree. Oh, I'll **** you till' you bleed. **** you till' you bleed. I wish upon a summer star, ****** strings for my guitar, I think that's gross so I must be gay, My friends will all make fun of you, Degrading lies like, "You're a Jew", You'll try to run but I will make you stay, Delilah, I can promise you, That one and one always makes two, And two people create the greatest games, Great ***** games! Hey there Delilah, You be good, and don't you diss me, Cause, you're the sub and I'm the dom, And you will be history if you do, You'll end up in some cannibal stew, The liver to swallow and the skin to chew, Doing like cannibals do, Like cannibals do. Oh, you've got some nice tiddies. Oh, I'll give you STD's. Oh, I'll tie you to a tree. Oh, I'll **** you till' you bleed. **** you till' you bleed.

Driftin'.........driftin'......driftin'....... Oh, liftin'........liftin'......lift us Carryin'.......carryin'.......carry away.... Ah, Jesus ..... Driftin' on this sea That nobody can see..... Come.....come with me...... Let us meet that rising tide Let us drift away..... On celestial kites. High...high....higher Ah, Jesus Please.....oh, please Tides away on a kite Take this filter, baby You can't cut smoke So, float along....on celestial kites. Take it in, **** it in Wait, wait, not so deep There, easy does the trick now Now, we can sail away again.... I will be your exquisite poesy You can eat me, all you want Yes, I'm your intense poem, take me Absorb the tides in me.... You float my boat up in the sky My beautiful buoy, you are Hover gentle over me Look kind into my eyes...... Hang me in the sky And peg your love on me Lay me on the moon And pierce my mind with stars.... Plop me on a nimbus cloud Nay, I will not fall through Forsooth, I'll sail on wind and gale To catch that kite to you! How I long for that box to open Oh, do lemme out! I smell the breeze.... I'll die sweetly, perchance To be on your celestial kite. Leave me not sodden and sick Let's fly high on celestial kites Where angels pray to kiss These high skies no-one kens. Ah, Jesus.... Let me not die bereft of hope To drift away...... with you..... Ah.......to snag that tail-end ribbon And hail this ride on your kite! Star Toucher, 12 March 2013

they say he must be lucky the guy who gets to have me and i just look in your eyes and see the hell i have put you through they fell in love w my words but i wonder do they know that this is not beautiful all these words may make depression look pretty but it is not it is not easy to be w a girl who wants to crawl into the tiniest space of you and make her home there it is not easy to be with a girl who makes you her air it is not easy to see her cringe at her own reflection it is not easy to love her when all she has is hatred for her self it is not easy to look at her when you read her poems about how she wants to peel off her skin till nothing of her remains it is easy to say he must be a lucky guy lemme assure you he is not im not blushing cheeks and perfect smiles Im not about classy looks and vintage dresses im like the storm and the only way i know how to show my love is to destroy it is not easy to talk to her when she replies in proses and riddles it is not easy to hold her when one moment she is warm and cuddlable and the next she is spitting fire it is not easy to tolerate her when one small mistake and it has already been carved as a poem it is not easy to survive her intense gaze it is not easy to look back into her eyes when she is looking at you w too much emotions contained in her eyes too strong for you to take she is everything or nothing or both at the same time she is every shade of every color simulataneously Ill overwhelm you or i can make you question your own existence cause i dont know any other way to love than to make you my all and to be your all ill love you w a passion you have never seen before but can your feeble heart take it? do you think your calculated actions and diplomatic decisions will help you then? you may be fooled by my smile and my gentle voice in which i talk to you but there is a lot to me than what meets your eyes there will always be more to me than you ll know and you may think it is easy to love me but it is not you are a dreamer, you are in love with the idea of me while you remain oblivious of all the stories behind the words i have not yet written and the words you ll never see. It is effortless to fall in love with a poem but being with a poet is a totally different thing don't you now agree?

Lemme go as fast as I can All the winds hurting my skin Forcing it ..pulling it back The speed thrills Adrenaline reveals No such ecstasy Like such it feels Going faster growing fearful That undying and about to die feeling The risk being so sweet You crave for that sugar coated thing more and more All so euphoric All such momentum Being so moment full After a certain point Being in no control Such rejoice full After a certain time The speed addiction Controls you Instead going the other way around Imbibed so deep into brain Ever hungry for it If ever speed kills me Don't mourn Because I would be smiling.

The Pen The pick up the pen; The put it down again (That sunken feeling, nemesis or friend?) The pen. The Pen. The pacing, the pressing up against The period. Stop stopping Again. Pick it up to put it down. Pointless. Pshaw. Please. Please me simplicity. C’mon! C’mon pen lemme pick it up And put something down. I’ll plagiarize the flow for a few words of my own. I’m looking for inspiration from the great beyond. My muse is missing. I know the medium is a constraint. I know inside The set of symbols paints Me into a corner. The parameters Of my pen’s head worn out. I’m ****** The metaphors Pressed. The pen is second-guessed. A literate piece of poetic license, The defense mechanism Against the prison I impose. Me, myself, and I inside The pen pining for a purpose. The nexus of picking it up and putting it down Is perplexing me, is vexing Me like a sticky keyboard key. So, I’m putting it all down With the pen. The pen. The picking it up: who cares? The putting it down: pensive prohibition. The picking up; what I left out. The putting it down: polygraph precision. The picking up where I left off: The putting it down: priority, what’s left of me. The picking it up, when I don’t even know Why I bother? The putting it down: passion The putting it down: plea of let me be. The putting it down periscope; I’m diving under The pressure’s mounting; I’m down for the counting on my muse To bring me back From that inky black abyss once again My personal sonar is Probing the depths, of what lies hidden within the pen.

Slappa da Bass Mon
I hold my heart to you baby, Fill it up to the brim, Fill it raw Fill it fast Don't worry that it might drop, Fill it with whispers of sweet nothings, Fill it with out any trimmings... Fill my heart...baby Fill it up to the brim... I wanna dance to those gentle whispers I wanna a swirl and drink the love, Wanna feel heady, drunk to my soul Fill my heart...baby Fill it up to the brim, Come closer, hold me tight When love gently spills, Toast it with delight... Fill my heart...baby Fill it up to the brim, I won't ask you obvious questions, I won't demand for a reply, I stretch my heart to you... Fill it with love, Fill it with a song, I will slurp with joy... Lemme promise that I will share, The love you filled with so much care, Let's share a sip between us, Let's toast for love and trust... So, pour some more love to my heart baby, I will top it up with mine, Let it overflow and flood my veins, I wanna feel love travel to my brain, I wanna feel love soften my eyes, I want you to see, your love reflect in mine... Fill my heart...baby Fill it up to the brim... Fill it raw Fill it fast Don't worry that it might drop, Fill it with whispers of sweet nothings, Fill it with out any trimmings...

Crazy crazy love
strait crazy saintly mania raving. new age jainist phasers sang they praises like 'hey mr bojangles, go mangle up the angle, shake shake shake the frame & they'll thank you later.' ...sorry not today. I'm feeling under the earthquake weather. wallowing wonder following the devil thru the desert on great endeavors to make it rain feathers that sound like thunder. famous as ever nameless as heaven to say the least I'm slaying beasts that came from me in the first place. this is lovehate. lovehate lovehate. & it's useless. just lemme set the mood. it's stupid brutish beauty mooing truly bluesy marks & bruises infused with martian harmony incarnate, caramelized carnage set to soothing violent music. broke record store cliché faded to frustration feeding a creaturely need for creation & hellish lust for selfdestruction. -nothing special- just an absolute mess who dilute the stress through allusion allegory alliteration hallucination delusion ***** it's a celebration. tell the rest those losers that got left I'm doing my best even though I'm pretty upset with how it's all panning out. oh well I guess.

Dis nou die tyd om te babbel En my mond verby te praat , want hulle sê mos A drunk man's words is A sober man's thoughts... En wie weet dalk vind ek Die antwoorde in ń diep gesprek met myself... Sien ek is nie een van daardie AA lappies wat skeinheilig Sit en slukkies suip om Geluk onder in die bottel Op te spoor nie. Tyd om te babbel
Dis nou die tyd om te babbel En my mond verby te praat , want hulle sê mos A drunk man's words is A sober man's thoughts... En wie weet dalk vind ek Die antwoorde in ń diep gesprek met myself... Sien ek is nie een van daardie AA lappies wat skeinheilig Sit en slukkies suip om Geluk onder in die bottel Op te spoor nie. Blow Out. Blow Jobs.
Take something as simple as grains of sand, Look at it if you can, Picture it if you must, Now, understand that your life IS revolving around these insignificant, ugly, Things. Lemme ask you something Is it beautiful to you? Because when everything’s beautiful Everything means something. It’s quite the opposite for me. What’s whirling around me is not for the faint of heart. You may think you’re prepared but you honestly Aren’t. Under this pale, freckled covered skin and heavy, hair matched, eyes is a dull dying soul. Living with a severed heart. What was once carefully mended from the past broken road. So… I see you’ve made a fool of me, yet again. Does my sheltered being tickle your funny bone? Give you that…ya know Painful laughter. As if inside you is screaming “How could I be hurting the one I claimed to have loved?!” I was your happy, I was your crazy, I was your Beautiful. You had your lame, unacceptable, pathetic, coldhearted, mean, conniving reasons. Don’t worry I understand. But I am no longer the little girl from your memories, so stop living in them…it intervenes from the Now. And now, thing’s aren’t so beautiful.

******* Your Sister There was something familiar about her face. Something in the way she tossed her brown hair back and smiled. I couldn’t quite place it. She was an out-of=town biker ***** I was just an in-town biker. We leaned against the bar, my hand on her hip. Wow. You just don’t give a **** do you?” she said, wrapping her arms around me. “Oh, I give a **** I’ll share it with you, if you want.” Her smile grew wide, as she bi her big bottom lip. “You wanna get outta here?” We roared into the motel parking lot. She pointed to a room, and I parked right next to her bike. “I say ******* Your bike feels good, makes my thighs twitch,” she said. On the way to the door, her knees were trembling. They buckled slightly, every few seconds. Yeah, this was gonna be all right. Back in the bar, we had something magnetic when we locked eyes. It was always a good sign, when you had that. I pushed her down hard on the bed, pressed her mouth to mine. She was a sloppy kisser, all over the place. Not soft and gently, like I expected. Well, we lay there anyways, kissing and grinding our hips. The chin of my beard was wet. The radio blared a Doors song. “Let it roll, baby roll …” Suddenly, it hit me. No, no, this is all wrong. I pulled back. “What?” she asked, smiling. “Son of a ***** I rolled off of her and stood up, tightening the strap of my leather jacket. “What the **** she shouted, impatiently. “I can’t do this.” I said, shaking my head. “Why the **** not?” “Well … ugh. You look just like my sister. I couldn’t figure it out before, but the resemblance is just too much. Christ, I’m sorry, darlin’.” She sat on the bed, mouth hanging open in disbelief. She slowly formed a sentence. “Let me get this straight … so … you’re seriously NOT gonna **** me?” “Baby, I can’t.” “Well, **** she said, sitting up, pulling her **** back into her AC/DC shirt. I pulled out a joint and lit it up. “I can’t ****** believe this **** … lemme hit that.” I passed her the joint. “Yeah, I know. I can’t believe it either. You could be her twin.” “No, it’s all right.” She took a big hit and held it in as she spoke. “As bad as I wanted to **** your brains out … it’s okay. That’s actually very respectable. Ya Know? Shows you really care about your family and **** “Yeah, I do. Nothing is more important than family.” “You’re a good guy, Dan.” "Well, its mainly because I don’t wanna feel like I’m ******* my sister.” ******* She finally passed the joint back, both of us laughing like children.

Whether you refer yourself as the Spiral Galaxy Messier 31, Or the Greek Mythology daughter of an Aethiopian King, I can be the Stars to your Galaxy. I can be the Perseus that saves you from Death. I can be your best friend. But I understand that Trust comes a long way, Just lemme know when you trust me enough, And maybe we can create something the world has never seen before.

Lemme see your hands, That's what the officer said, But he still shoots like he couldn't see my hands, Why did you shoot me? I kept my hands visible, I didn't resist or reach in my pockets. You ain't need to pull out and fire your gun, All that was unnecessary, You think just because you're an officer of the law, That you're above the law, You're not above the law, You need to be better at protecting and serving, Stop killing us. Protect us and stop killing us, I'm just a innocent black man, The black on black crime getting scary, Black lives matter, Ths color of my skin makes life harder, Had a target on my back since birth.

Stop killing us.
He says, "I'm not asking for much" She gives him butterflies with every touch He notes her on the way her eyes glow She says "There's things you don't know" He doesn't force her to explain She enjoys this through her pain He tells his friends about this girl, "She's the most beautiful in this world" He ignores their laughs and remarks, "At least I think with my heart" His friends laugh again and say this, "Yo man lemme know after you hit" She cries at night because she truly cares Her sister shows concern so she shares "There's a guy and I'm actually interested" (She's never had relationships with time invested) Her sister hugs her and they both cry She stays up all night as hours go by He continues to pursue his infatuation She accepts forcing a sad situation He takes his time to spite his friends She knew exactly when it would end The night came when he used the word "love" She prayed that night to the Lord above... "Dear Father, Why did I ever experience this pain When I didn't even know his name I still can remember my mouth taped The night in the alley when I was ***** My faith and hope are only beginning to fade He won't love me when he finds out I have AIDS"            The next day he and she decide to meet On a particular and familiar street She tells him everything and he looks surprised Smiling he says, "Remember, when I said I loved your eyes" She cries because this wasn't what was planned He gives her something little by holding her hand.

Glances from across the room louder than the music louder than the bass that everyone is waiting drop. Musical notes clamouring against the floor, don't pick them up. leave them there, walk around them on tip toe in ballet slippered feet. feather light or lead heavy. veins of lightning. forming vowel sounds with my mouth. ooooooOooOOO EEeeeee i. i. i. AHhhhhh Sew me together with fingertips like the soft kiss of lemon drops, coming up the stairwell the warmth of wanting the bite of yearning. Flushed pink. Pinched red. Pricked purple. Spaghetti mind of soft thoughts turning hard and stale like cracked chapped candy cane lips. Naked and waiting. Scabbed mosquito bites that bled bright red. OOoooowww. Gimme a sec. 3-5 business days until rejection. I'll keep you posted. 48 hours of maybe. Lemme get back to you. No RSVP establishing a lack of certainty. but but but Re: Urgent: Plz Respond ASAP But when?

I couldn't know you'd need me then! Just a human with all frailty and much fault....    Do you think the wind blows differently When  it passes over leaves and trees? That it says: "Wait, lemme stop here a bit And blow on this one leaf  in a special way"    Hardly! Time to get with the manure beneath And see that sunrays shine on everything And indiscriminate clouds shimmer on all, How haphazard, the way the wind blows.    So, don't hang your head and moan so much Time dawns for you to get over yourself Don't you see that I'm still here? Now quit getting your knickers in a knot!    You rant and rave while I pant and slave Dissect my every move, make me aloof How can you possibly go counting And re-arranging all the marbles in my head?    You're so insecure, you make me mad So exhaustive are your constant jibes So tiring to soothe your unfounded fears I'm having to placate you so often of late.    Before it all gets blown out of size Sit a while in  (h)arboured thought Confront the dreads which cause disquiet A trove may wash up....but broken, on your shore.    The wind comes not with tardy tidings For it isn't the what you say or do But forsooth, the how which carries weight Let's not over-whip each other so.    My thoughts may be wanton, wild or reckless Telling tigs bend on a riotous grind Yet feckless deeds don't follow suit Pardon my slightly-misbehaving mind.    Patient and respectful, I remain to be Just guard against esurient whims Paucity of faith and clockwork trivial'ties Will lead us down a road of trials.    Fallen martyrs should not feign, see The wind makes no pretense. It just blows.... Now, I really couldn't know you'd need me then 'Cause, baby, that's the way the wind blows!    S T, 5 April 13
