"khana" poems
It was in the Mughal period
That a combined bathroom,
Shower & toilet put together,
Were called a Ghusl Khana.
Inside it proceeded many stuff,
Literally meaning cleansing,
Of both the body and soul.
Sat the emperor inside,
Busy in cleaning his body,
And his soul too with water,
And with the warmth of it,
He tried cleansing his soul,
After administrating the empire,
And being engaged in battles.
The battles of truth,
The battles of trust,
The battles of faith.

Toh Kya hua ,
Pehenti hu Mei jeans top ya short skirt koi,
Par sabhayta dupatte Vali h ,
Ha Mei ladki seher ki rehne Vali hu.
Mana ki pasand h mujhe,
Pizza aur burger khana ,
Par maa ke hath se bani chule ki roti bhi pyaar se khane Vali hu,
Ha Mei ladki seher ki rehne Vali hu.
Ha hu Mei todi ghamandi aur batameez,
Lekin choto se pyaar ,
Bado ka samman karne Vali hu ,
Ha Mei ladki seher ki rehne Vali hu
Nahi sajana maang Mei laal rang koi,
Nahi bandhna Gale Mei kala sutra koi
Ab apne swabhimaan aur aajadi ki or kadam badane Vali hu,
Ha Mei ladki seher ki rehne Vali hu.
Hath badane valo se,
Hath milane Vali hu,
Buri nazar se dekhne valo ko,
Unhi ke nazaro Mei girane Vali hu,
Ha Mei ladki seher ki rehne Vali hu.
Batameezi Kar Jaye gar koi mujhse,
Toh madat ki guhar nahi ,
Muh tod javab Dene Vali hu,
Ha Mei ladki seher ki rehne Vali hu!

There are aunties all around us, appreciating their daughters,
"Meri beti khana bohat acha banati hai"
"Meri beti ne tou pura ghar sambhala hai"
And then comes me.....who has a lazy **** to even make morning chair;(

How she smiles
Melts my pain away
Takes me to a place
A glimpse of peace
Once a while
Like gentle breeze of green
And a happy sun
And pure air
Sanitised by nature herself
Touching the hairs of my skin
Clean
Lasting only a while
Not too long
I only catch a breath
Then back to regrets
Everyday spaces
Familiar places
Orchestrated in
Reverberated agonies of souls
Haunted by sin
Eating away inside our skin
A bit by beat
Pasts that will still lay
Before my eyes
With an uningnorable scent
Stubborn on my nose
On Statuses.
On WhatsApp.
On Posts
On Facebook
Wherever, my eyes look
Wherever, my life breeds
Wherever, my nostril finds air
Hanging strong
With such unignorable scent
Like freshly painted walls in cheap paint
Annoying
But
One that defeats love
Then she smiles again
With a little squeaky sound of laughter
Her little tongue
Peeking
Seeking
A shot at my soul
And I swear
Its only just
For a while
And again I am lost
In the gentle breeze of green
And yet again
I only catch a breath
.

They were the best examples in their own essence.
Khana or Galileo,
Couldn't be to become too dear to many.
Van Gogh or Jibanananda Das,
Society did not recognize them, all were delusions.
Sukarno or Kamal Ataturk,
Have they got the real happiness of freedom?

Yahan mujhe koi kaam nahi,
Subha na utne par koi daat bi nahi,
Phone dekh ne par koi rukaawat nahi,
Khana khane mein koi sharing nahi,
Par phir bhi ghar ki bohot yaad aati hai,
Kyuki yaha koi pyaar karne waala hi nahi,
Daat kar phir pyar se gale lagane wala hi nahi,
Hak jataane wala nahi, ladai karne waala nahi,
Ye toh mera ghar hi nahi......
